Great experience with good customer service. Left hotel at 8am though some had started out from Abu Dhabi at 6am!. Arrived in Dibba 2 hours later and boarded our Dhow. Very comfortable, constant availability of water/juices/tea/coffee. First stop was for around an hour and the sea was lovely... could stay near boat or take motor boat to beach. Everyone had their own snorkelling equipment though not many fish to see until we were about to leave. Moved on to another destination and had lovely buffet lunch while on the move. Had another session swimming/snorkelling and also visited a cave in the motor boat. Really relaxing and worthwhile trip and well looked after. Journey was slower back to Dubai we were the first drop off after 3 hours but stops are made for toilet breaks etc. A great day out if you are prepared for variable transit times to and from Dibba.
Excellent tour and our tour guy Mustafa was simply the best! Very knowledgeable, great personality and took good care of us.

Fantastic guide explained everything to us in great detail, stayed with us throughout the day and made sure he spent time with all of the group while on the cruise. Beautiful scenery and great food on the dhow as well. Would have done it all again if I've been here long enough.
This was a wonderful experience, not only the cruise on the dhow but the drive from Dubai was brilliant, the scenery was so different and we felt we were seeing the real desert. We had a great swim in the Arabian Sea and a very relaxed experience. I would highly recommend this tour. It is a long drive but well worth it with so much to see.
Hamada and the crew were the perfect hosts! Hotel pick up was right on time, we received lots of interesting facts about the Emirates on the way to Musandam. Water, juice, biscuits, fruit and a delicious lunch were included. Definitely recommended :)
This trip was awesome. The driver was s hoot. He was great and gave us some good info. The boat was great and the staff on the boat were really nice. I would recommend this to anyone.
Great tour with friendly professional staff. Excellent lunch. Awesome scenery. Highly recommended.

I really enjoyed this tour. We had an on time pickup with comfortable transport and friendly driver who shared a lot of information about the places we were passing. The passport control was managed by the tour staff with no effort on our part, and the boat trip was great - including speed boat to a beach, visit to a cave, sea turtle sighting and the opportunity to go swimming/snorkelling have a look for the salp, which aren't jellyfish!, and a tasty lunch with refreshments and snacks throughout the day. I would highly recommend it as a way to see the different landscapes of the Emirates as well as a bit of Oman.
The tour was a great way to see a part of the Middle East people are unlikely the see. The Gulf of Oman has some barren, picturesque scenery and the journey by dhow is a great way to see it. Our tour guides were absolutely fantastic and accommodating and knew the area quite well. Particular highlights included the time swimming in the ocean, as well as the food they served on board which was phenomenal. I'd highly recommend this tour it was very well-organized and laid back. If you're lucky like us, then you'll have a very small group as well. Made it much more flexible.
Nice relaxing day on the water with some nice travel through the mountains. The boat was comfy, not crowded and the food was surprisingly excellent given it was carried on from shore. The coffee was hot and tasty. The staff were gracious, helpful and entertaining. The highlight for me was the trip into the cave. It was a wonderful experience and quite beautiful. Definitely worth the trip out!
We were picked up on time in fact early from our hotel. The journey to the Oman border took approximately 2 hours from Dubai. Our transport was a dedicated mini-van, so perfectly comfortable. My only critisiscm of this part of the journey is that our driver was seriously addicted to his mobile phone and couldn't leave it alone.
Upon arrival, we boarded the large, well equipped Dhow, together with approximately 40 other guests. This isn't a personal private cruise.
As for the tour itself, our hosts were very attentive, providing a constant supply of tea, coffee, water and soft drinks. Beer is available, but for and additional supplement.
The scenery of the Oman coastline was quite stark, but strangely beautiful and provided a pleasant background to the cruise. During our stops, we made use of the snorkelling equipment around the boat and explored the small bays. Watch the sea urchins, as they are everywhere. We also went on a short powerboat tour of a small cave, which was ok, but nothing spectacular. Other guests took the opportunity to sunbathe on one of the beaches, whilst others were content to stay on the boat.
The food provided was certainly welcome and consisted of plenty of Middle Eastern style dishes, flatbreads, chicken, fish and pasta for the less adventurous.
Onboard, we could buy traditional fragrances and other small gifts and trinkets.
Travelling to and from Oman, together with the tour itself took pretty much a whole day, so make sure that you leave enough time in your itinerary.
Overall, this was a pleasant experience and something I would recommend to others to try.
An absolutely stunning place must go if your are in Dubbai, the dhow cruise was very relaxing and if you don't snorkel the crew will take you to the beach on a dinghy. Great food too! Mark and Maria
Great trip, good guide, food and organisation. Pretty fish to see snorkelling. Unfortunately didn't see any dolphins in January :-
Wish our driver could tell us more about Dubai, Oman, etc. It was mostly a quiet car journey to Musandam, with our driver sometimes being on the phone.
At Musandam, it was an ordinary cruise on the Dhow, cruising along Strait of Hormuz.
Our tour guide was great, picked us up on time and was informative along the way. It is about 2hrs from Dubai to Dibba and a good opportunity to get out of the city centre see the desert, camels and surrounds. The dhow cruise was comfortable and the crew attentive with lots of soft drinks and food. Unfortunately, we were unable to restart the dhow after our chill time in a bay up the coast. It was a battery issue. Long story short we tied alongside another dhow and the crew were able to 'jump' start. However, then there was a problem with that dhow. A couple of hours passed and whilst the crew tried to keep us entertained with speed boat jaunts and shore visits, it wore a little thin. Oman is a complete contrast to the glitz and glamour of Dubai and although it was the second time we had been there if was still an eye opener in a good way plus now a tight boarder crossing. The scenery, if honest, is hostile not in a scary way but the lack of vegetation, starkness and rocks define its contours, so no pretty camera shots here. There was also an opportunity to snorkel near the rocks but the water is so warm it is hard to imagine anything surviving, so really nothing to see, plus it is also deep. All in all we enjoyed the day and I would recommend. Due to Ramadan there was a good number of people on the dhow, which I would imagine could be quite crowded in high season. Dibba is a lovely city and has fabulous roundabouts with large sculptures depicting the culture of the region, very impressive.
This was supposed to be a Khasab Fjord tour, and instead they changed it to Dibba. The driver was 30 minutes late. Great food and beverages on board. Snorkeling pretty poor - cloudly water and TONS of sea urchins. The scenery was just a bunch of rocks... and not pretty ones - just bare rocks as far as one can see. If this was supposed to be 'like Norway's fjords - that quote was from some who has never been to Norway!
