You’re picked up from your centrally located hotel for a morning departure. Hop inside an air-conditioned 4WD vehicle and meet your guide who points out Dubai’s landmarks as you head out of the city. It’s about a 45-minute drive to the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve, which is funded by visitors to conserve the natural beauty and biodiversity of the Arabian Desert. Upon reaching the tranquillity of the desert, take a leisurely drive as your guide explains the historical significance of the landscape to Emiratis. Discover numerous flora and fauna while you hear about the role of plants, trees, grasses, and herbs and their importance to Bedouin survival. It’s possible to spot native wildlife such as sand gazelles, Arabian oryx, and camels along with smaller desert inhabitants.
