Our Guide showed us around the ground level before leaving us at the tower.
Be prepared to be amazed!
Our fantastic guide, Omar, gave us a fabulous tour and even customized the day to meet our needs. He shared his knowledge of culture, customs and history of the UAE which we found very interesting and helpful. We feel very fortunate to have been assigned to Omar's care on our short stay in Dubai!
Dubai is a large place! If you just have a few days to see it, we seriously recommend that you get a guide to help you along.
Our guide was nice and, beeing a local, could give us a lot of information on life in Dubai. Also, the private tour was nice to have, compared to the large groups you normally get!
A very good experience!
A MUST DO when you are in Dubai. Our Tour guide Samel was really fun to hang around with. And since he was living in Germany for a while he was also speaking pretty good german. Which was nice for my 9year old.Samel was showing us some nice places. We loved the old town of Dubai with the spice and Gold souks. The water Taxis in the old city was the Highlights for us.Something we wouldnt have know/seen without him..
Burj Khalifa is NICE. I would reccommend taking the tour around 5:45pm..At this time you will be able to see Dubai at daylight and about 1hour later with all his beautiful citylights..YES its getting dark in Dubai pretty early..about 6:30/7pm we where surprised to, and we have been in Dubai in the end of May Have Fun : Thanks Samel
Having only two nights in Dubai this tour seemed to be the obvious thing to do. Our tour guide was excellent , his enthusiasm and love for his country shone through. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour from start to finish and would recommend it without hesitation . Totally professional .
Great trip! The guide was pleasant and informative. We learned some history of Dubai and the UAE along with current life in the city. The tour included all the major sights and ended with the Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Mall. We had plenty of time to enjoy the sights and to do a little shopping.
The driver was friendly and great at getting lots of photos for us. But we didn't do everything listed on the tour. We asked not to go to Atlantis because we had already stayed there in the past, which was fine, but we didn't go to the spice souk or on the water taxi abra, we were dropped at the gold souk at 12 o'clock when it was mostly closed for prayer time. Every time we got back in the car, it smelt very strongly of cigarettes, the driver must have been smoking in the car. I hate cigarettes and really don't like my son breathing in the remnants of smoke.
A lot of our questions went unanswered that we asked or he didn't understand what we said and answered a completely different question or just repeated what he had already said about the attraction in question. his accent was very strong and quite difficult to understand. I know that the driver was always going to have an accent, but his was a little too much. we were also taken to an 'art museum' at the beginning of the tour, which was basically just a whole lot of displays of things for sale and someone walking around with us, trying to sell us things. if we skipped the 'art museum' we may have had time for the spice souk and water taxi, which were two attractions I was looking forward to.
As I said, the driver was friendly and he was courteous, but unfortunately, if I knew my friends where going to get this driver, there is no way that I would recommend the tour.
he did speak 7 languages, most of which were from India, so might be suited to Indian clients. I don't want to get him in trouble, but it was the worst experience I've ever had with viator.
