I like the combination of train and bus. Our guide was Bob and he did a wonderful job. He showed us some turf peat at Bunratty Castle. The Cliffs of Moher were beautiful. We arrived in Galway about 5:00 so any touring was on our own. The next day was on the bus through the Connemara region to Kylemore Abbey. Please note this trip does not include a stop to Connemara marble store in Moycullen or viewing of the green marble mountains in Clifden. I though it did. I loved the views at the Kilary Fjord.

Great adventure to ride the Irish railways. Plenty of free time. Guides were quite informative

This was a wonderful two-day tour with charming, knowledgeable, personable guides! We also went on a Paddywagon Tour later In our trip and we'd recommend this company over theirs. We felt like this tour took us to great spots, gave us enough time to explore, and weren't focused on just the touristy stops. Great tour!

I highly recommend this tour! Definitely take the 2 days and stay the night in Galway. The first day has breathtaking views of the Cliffs of Moher and you think it can't get better but the 2nd day tour is so beautiful! I want to take the trip all over again!

The cliffs are worth the effort, we knew what to expect yet arriving it was breathtaking. We didn't know what to expect of Connemara, and found this to be the highlight of our vacation! What an unexpected surprise if beauty.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed it. Our guide the first day had dry humor and was really kind. The Cliffs of Moher were gorgeous, and the folk park was cute. The next day, our guide was really friendly and super knowledgeable about the Connemara area. The best part of the trip was staying overnight in Galway. We were there Friday night; the evening was bustling with activity, and we pub hopped until the wee hours. If I were to recommend anything, it's that they provide a tour in which you just do the first day, then stay over in Galway, and then have the day in Galway to sleep in, stroll around, shop, and then go back. More time in Galway on your own would be awesome. Overall, great trip.

I really enjoy this tour, traveling by train and coach during both days was very nice, the time was very well organized and the tour guides very knowledgeable and pleasant. Cliffs of Moher, Galway Bay and Connemara really worth visiting, amazing places.

Cliffs of Moher is great but the travel time from Dublin is quite long. Don't want to make it a day trip so choose to stay at Galway and go Connemara the next day. Arrangement of Railtour is seamless and Galway is a lovely city, But Connemara isn't really impressive.

The trip was wonderful. It was realistically paced with timely stops. May I suggest a hotel description that includes amenities. I would have appreciated a room with air conditioning.

Overall the tour was very well organized and hit the high spots of what we wanted to see! I did, however feel very rushed at the Cliffs of Moher, which was the main attraction that I wanted to see in Ireland, and the reason I booked this tour. We had one hour at the Cliffs and that simply wasn't enough!

The trip was nice. The Hotel was great. I was disappointed in the second day as the description of the Connemara portion said we would be going to Clifden and the Sky Road, neither of which we did, and these were two of the main reasons I chose a tour that included Connemara. You really don't get to experience much in Galway as you don't get in there before most things are closed.

Too many tours were combined on bus and train. Seats were too close together on the bus so there was no leg room and bus was already full when we were picked up-no choice of seats, so we couldn't see anything. Microphones were not properly working on buses, so we could not hear the commentary. This tour was very expensive compared to others we have taken and it was not worth the money. I plan to complain. i will say that the guides on the two buses were helpful and I think the commentary would have been good if we could have heard more than a few bits of it. Hotel was very nice with a lovely breakfast.

This seemed to be two separate tours strung loosely together and the accommodations were less than comfortable. However, the scenery was gorgeous, we had great weather and our tour guides/bus drivers were knowledgeable and very nice.
