JJ was a great tour guide. Dermott also on the first day. The Acorn B and B in cork was older but clean. I would try to upgrade to something nicer if i went again. Sites were great.

This was a very good trip. Special praise to our driver on the first day for both his careful driving and excellent commentary. Plenty of time to explore Blarney Castle and gardens, very comfortable accommodation and delicious breakfast in Cork though a bit of a steep climb to get there - thank you kind driver for helping with our luggage. Despite the bonus of an unexpected boat trip along the Cliffs of Moher, the second day did not go so smoothly. We had a change of driver - with a separate commentator who offered less information along the way. A pity the end of the tour was spoiled for the two-day travellers by the need to change coaches at the final stop. This meant a two-hour wait with our luggage - the last hour in a hot car park - and a late return to Dublin.

3 star rating: Worth doing November 2016

Let me start by saying, we had an excellent time on our tour! We had wonderful weather and very accommodating and friendly guides. I had to deduct stars though because the execution and advertisement of the tour are way off. First of all, its not really a two day tour. It's two one day tours where they set up a B&B overnight in Cork. On the first day we went to Blarney & Cashel. We did not stop in Cobh at all, which was a disappointment. However, Blarney's grounds were stunning. I was so glad we had plenty of time to roam around the gardens. By the time we go to Cork there wasn't time to make it to the markets at all, we had an hour to roam around and then the driver dropped us off at our B&B, which was totally accommodating. The next day a taxi picked us up and took us to the day two tour bus. There was some confusion over who was paying for the taxi at first, but the tour guide resolved it quickly. We joined the 2nd day's tour and had a fabulous day seeing the Cliffs and Burren and had a lovely lunch in Doolin. We did not stop in Limerick, but just drove through. The last stop was too late to actually go into Bunratty, but could take some pictures. At this point we have to change buses again to go back to Dublin since the day 2 tour is going back to where we started in Cork (the driver warned us about this at lunch). So we had to unload our stuff and sit and wait for a bus heading to Dublin that had space for us. We got very lucky and got the last two seats on the first bus that came by. Our original day 2 driver held his bus and waited until the next bus pulled into the parking lot before leaving as I think he noticed we felt a little bit uneasy, so that was thoughtful. Once on the Dublin bus we just headed back and got in around 8pm. Overall the sights and the guides were great, but the execution of this '2-day tour' is really lacking and the itinerary as listed here is just inaccurate. I would take another tour with Paddywagon, but not a 2-day.

This was an absolutely horrible tour experience. Book elsewhere!

The tour time is listed incorrectly and I missed my tour on the first day due to it. I was able to reschedule for the next day, however the tour didn't follow the correct itinerary listed, so I am highly disappointed in this purchase due to the fact that i didn't get to see the stops that I had planned on seeing.

Day 1-
Didn't stop in Cobh, wasn't able to see the St. Coleman's Cathedral or Cork harbour. No Lunch stop in Cork we stopped there for an hour after the Blarney Castle.

Overnight Hostel was horrible. The bathroom toilet leaked, there are no lockers to keep your belongings, breakfast wasn't ready when it said it would be, they had no key for me to even get into my room when I came back later in the night!!

Day 2-
No where was it mentioned that you would be switching tours in the middle of the day, my tour guide didn't tell me until I got back on the bus from lunch that I needed to get off and wait 40 minutes until the next bus stopped to pick me up. The next bus didn't come for another hour, and then was stopped there for an hour, so I wasted 2 hours stopped in Doolin doing nothing except hoping another bus would come pick me up.

We didn't stop to see the Burren or Bunratty Castle either.

Everything that the itinerary laid out was either incorrect for the time of the day, or we didn't even stop to see at all.

It was an extremely unorganized trip, overpriced, and besides the very nice Bed and Breakfast and the woman who ran it, it was not very enjoyable. We waited hours for buses and got extremely little in way of tour guides.

The tour operator Paddywagon Tours did not have any record of our Viator reservation. As a result we were added on to a 1 Day bus tour to Blarney Castle. The Day 1 bus tour itinerary did not match the itinerary listed on Viator.
Day 1: The tour stopped at a newly reopened castle and then completely skipped Cobh, St. Coleman's Cathedral and our lunch stop in Cork. In Blarney we had just enough time to walk to the castle, get in line to kiss the Blarney stone and grab a snack at the concession on the way out. Remember we missed our lunch stop There was no time to see the castle grounds, gardens, residence or the Woolen Mills. Our bus dropped us off in Cork late afternoon where we had some time to explore but most sights were closed by that time on a Sunday evening. The B and B was very comfortable, conveniently located and the proprietors were very nice.
Day 2: The Cliffs of Moher were spectacular! We had excellent weather and plenty of time to hike around. Our driver also arranged for an hour long boat excursion extra charge but very reasonably priced around the base of the cliffs. The final stop of the day was Bunratty Castle where we had to exit the bus with our luggage to transfer to a later bus back to Dublin. This was not well-organized or communicated and was extremely inconvenient for us. We had to to schlep our luggage around with us for close to 1.5 hours. Due to the luggage situation we were unable to tour the castle which was a huge disappointment.

Overall, we feel the tour did not meet expectations set by the marketing materials on Viator. We made the best of the situation but would not recommend this 2-day tour for others.
