Wonderful tour. Very busy tour but worth it for first timers to Ireland. The accommodation was great for the price much better than expected.
This was an awesome tour! We fit a lot of towns and villages into the 4 days. The b and b's that we stayed at were also very good. Our driver, Freddie, was also great! He had some funny stories and he pointed out the sights we might have missed from the bus. He was hilarious and had the entire bus laughing!
Great tour and our guide and bus driver Leigh did a great job. Everything ran smoothly and activities were organised along the way. Countryside is spectacular so this trip is well worth it. As with most bus trips you have limited time at the designated stops but with a short trip this is expected.
This was an incredible experience. We would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to see the beautiful country of Ireland. The accommodations at the Bed and Breakfasts were very comfortable. The first day we experienced the beautiful scenery of SW Ireland and spent the night in Galway with time to explore the town. On our next day, we went to the Cliffs of Moher which were truly spectacular. The views and the winds were equally impressive. The dinner at the Randy Leprechaun Pub next to the B and B was really great. On the third day, we took the drive around the Dingle Peninsula with the very narrow !! roads, and the views were amazing. We took a wonderful carriage ride through Killarney State Park and spent the night in Killarney. Our final day was spent traveling to Blarney Castle, which was unique to say the least, and finally a great tour of the Guinness Storehouse with a pint of Guinness!! What a great way to end a truly memorable 4 days. Our review would not be complete without an acknowledgement of our outstanding driver and guide Rory. He made the travels extremely interesting, and his driving skills were impeccable!!
Val, the tour guide, made this adventure an amazing experience. Extremely informative, very funny and great singing voice. Anyone hesitating, don't think twice, just book it.
Everything was great. We will do this again.
Great trip with Paddywaggon Tours. Our bus driver Rory was also our very knowlageable guide. The places we visited were well chosen, beautiful scenery, a great taste of Ireland. There are different levels of accommodation on this trip which means all different ages of passengers from backpacking youngsters to senior citizens which makes for a much more interesting bus trip than many others we have taken. Sometimes you get a great room sometimes not so good, but all part of the experience of travelling. This is a no frills bus trip where you are often left to your own devices, carry your own bags, eat where you want to, do as you like.We left our suitcases at the Paddywaggons office and only took our backpacks with enough clothes for 4 days which made getting on an off ther bus and into our rooms a lot easier. We really enjoyed travelling this way and would highly recommend it to independant travellers. Great trip. Great fun.
This tour was all that it was advertised to be. The tour went to a variety of locations. The overnight stays were in a nice variety of cities, and villages. The lodgings were great all were very clean with great breakfasts. Our driver, Freddie was humorous and informative. We would definitely use Paddywagon Tours and Viator again.
This tour MADE our trip to Ireland. It was amazing how much we saw in 4 days. We did the B and B Economy option and were super pleased with the places we stayed at. The main B and Bs were booked so they put us in some that were a little farther away from the city center still walking distance but the customer service and folks that run those were incredible. The only thing I would say is that I wish they assigned rooms to people ahead of time to avoid the chaos of picking where people stay when you get to the city.
This tour is perfect for the adventurous young couple that wants to see more of local Ireland, pub hop a bit in the towns, and explore the different sites. There is a lot of scenic bus time and a lot of walking if you chose to walk the sites, but it was well worth it and we met some incredible people along the way. Our driver Bryan was also awesome and made the experience even more fun. We debated renting a car and doing this tour ourselves or going with Paddy Wagon and we 100 are happy with our decision. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the beauty of Ireland!
Our driver and tour guide Malcolm was amazing. He provided us with so much information, and was quite approachable. We were able to see so much in only 4 days. The B and Bs were lovely and provided internet to us guests. The breakfasts included were a perfect start to a full day of travel.
