This was my first bus tour with anyone. I was traveling alone and honestly didn't know what to expect. My tour guide was Freddie, and he made the trip so much fun! I went in November so our tour group was small and mostly ranging from the ages 20-35 which was perfect for a college student! By the end of the tour, I made great friends, saw amazing sites of the country and never felt rushed or cheated at anything. I highly recommend this tour. The B and Bs were disappointing the first night, but got better through the week.
Freddie was the one that made the trip.. We both loved everything that he showed. His wit and stories made the trip. He was the star!!!
Paddy Wagon Tour driver/guide Malcom made this an informative and fun event. My wife and I have contracted through Viator before in Europe and their selection of Paddy Wagon was great. New bus with AC and wifi and bright green which made it easy to find. Malcolm made this a 5 star tour.
My girls and I loved this tour. I wanted to see as much as possible for a reasonable price on our trip to Ireland and this did the trick. The B and B's were clean and cute and the breakfasts were tasty. We loved our guide, Ruairi. He was funny and told us all the legends and fables associated with the sites. We definitely want to come back and try another one.
Excellent trip all around. Plenty of short stops. Plenty to see, and lots of great attractions seen.
Shaun Murphy was an entertaining driver who knew much of the history.
Stay in the B and B's if possible, you will not regret it
The tour was well-organized, enjoyable and well-run. We saw all we wanted to see, had time to shop, made frequent stops and had an excellent bus driver who could drive that bus anywhere and well! We would recommend you to anyone!
Our tour guide, and bus driver Rory was fantastic! Very much so enjoyed the sight-seeing, cleanliness of the B and Bs, and allowing us to stop the bus along the way to take photos and bathroom breaks.
Great low key tour.

This tour was done by Paddywagon.
Tour itself was good, lots of places and kept an ok pace. But is a bit impersonal with the change of buses and tour group ever changing. After coming from a tour that was just a small group of 14, this ever changing number of people and bus size was a little disconcerting.
Now the tour itself, really the optional events are the key to this tour, the Black taxi tour in Belfast is eye opening and a must for anyone visiting Northern Ireland, the boat ride in Dingle peninsula to see Fungie was super cool, and the rides in Killarney national park were very nice.
When in Belfast skip the Titanic museum and just go for a walk around the city, this tour only spends a day there and the city is just amazing, I preferred it to Dublin.
Guinness storehouse and Blarney castle which are included were really good, but there is only about 2 hrs on each place, I think it would benefit from at least for another 30 minutes each specially Blanery Castle.
Overall a great experience and great way to see some of the highlights of Ireland.
Few things to note: when i booked the tour it listed one company as the tour operator when in fact it was a different local tour operator. Level of service expectations had to quickly be adjusted. There were 16ppl on our 6day tour and on day 3 they added 4ppl for a 1day tour, and 8ppl for a 3day tour. Always nice to meet new people, but the dynamic of the 6day tour had been created, and the addition threw things off a bit. Bigger coach, less intimate/personal, felt like separate tours on the same bus. The first night accommodation in Belfast needs work. I booked B and B accommodations, and all other locations were lovely places, kind hosts, great home-cooked breakfasts. Belfast was a single room in a hostel and breakfast at Starbucks.
But overall our guide Malcolm was good, knowledgeable and proud of his country. Was able to suggest best fare to try in each location and a place to grab a drink with the locals.
The sites were all spectacular. Extra time would have been nice at the Cliffs of Moher and Blarney castle as there were long delays to get into the castle which took away from time to actually enjoy the location.
As a single female traveler in her late 30s, the group was a good mix, including other singles, couples one newlywed and a mother/daughter. It was nice to meet and travel with a great group of people from all over the world Canada, US, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland to share this new experience with. Ages ranged from early 20s to 50s.
Best visits were the real life accounts from locals that we experienced in Belfast black taxi tour and Derry by the amazing Ruairi Oheara... both MUST HEAR/SEE tours!!
Overall great experience, lots of insight into Ireland, no worry travel/driving, accommodating and breakfast B and B level. Ireland is so amazingly green and sheepy : Didnt want to come home, would do it all again in a second!
The tour was ok, except for the following: B and B of poor quality except for Glena's B B in Killarney. Otherwise others was really a disappointment. Our guide Freddie fro. PAddywagon although can be funny, can also be not too professional. He uses harsh language in almost every sentence, he uses idiot etc. and if you are a driver and guide you have to be conscious of the mix group of people you have in the bus! Our best guide was Rory in Belfast who gave us a very passionate background of Belfast .
