My friend and I took this tour when we were visiting Ireland and we had such a great time! We had the funniest tour guide named Joseph. He sang, he told jokes and even taught us some animal noises. He made all the down time extremely entertaining and he was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Ireland. He had great stories and had great first hand knowledge of his country. We loved all the stops we made. The Rock of Cashel was beautiful, we loved running around the City of Cork and ringing the bell at the church, and we had a lot of fun seeing all there is to see at the beautiful Blarney Castle. We had a lot of time at the Castle, although spent a lot of time in line to kiss the stone, we were able to run around and hit almost all the areas on the beautiful grounds. I would highly recommend this tour and thanks so much for an awesome day!

We loved the trip. It was long, but worth the ride. The driver was funny, but he gave us good information. We only wish we could have stayed longer. We had a lot to see in such a short time. We loved the gardens around Blarney Castle. They were beautiful even in the cold rain. I would do it again with another person if they wanted to go.

I truly enjoyed the opportunity to kiss the Blarney Stone but was a little disappointed in the actual castle......I expected it to be bigger but climbing the stone, slick, narrow steps with not much to hold on to but your imagination and enduring the cold rainy day in January to kiss the Blarney Stone made it all worthwhile! Might not climb the steps again Im 72 but would surely recommend it to everyone else!

We loved this trip! Sarah, our driver/guide was so helpful and friendly. My husband and I traveled with my mother and my grandmother, who needed a little extra time and patience, which Sarah doled out like a champ. Sarah even arranged for a wheel chair at Blarney Castle so my grandmother would not tire herself out ahead of taking the steps to the top. She really enjoyed resting while seeing the grounds and taking photos. We took some time in Cork to find the church and ring the bells, definitely try for that if you can.

Charming and enchanting towns and we had great tour guide. There was a nice nice balance between being informative and giving us time to just look out the window. Didn't kiss the stone, too many lips passed there before mine! Baby lamb photo opp was priceless!

The grounds at Blarney Castle are simple beautiful. You can explore and also kiss the stone in the amount of time the tour allows. Cork is also a nice city to visit.

A really fun and enjoyable day trip. There is a decent amount of time spent on the bus, but that should be expected - you are traveling across the entire country approx. 525km / 325miles roundtrip. We went to Cork first, where we had lunch and a bit of time to wander the streets. There is not enough time to uncover some of the great little spots Cork has to offer, so if you get an opportunity to stay in Cork before/afterwards, I would highly recommend it - after Dublin, I spent a week in Cork, and had a great time there. Continuing on, the Blarney Castle itself is grand, but if you don't want/need to kiss the Blarney Stone, I recommend walking around the property grounds - they are simply marvelous. I spent most of the allotted time walking around the grounds and taking photos of the flora and fauna, and was amazed at how well maintained the property is. I also enjoyed the Poison Garden which contains dozens of different species. Be sure to check out the gift shop, as it has virtually any kind of Irish gift you can imagine. This is coincidentally where the buses picked us back up too

Be prepared for rain. In all seriousness, you will likely encounter rain on some part or another of almost any longer trips you take through Ireland I don't mean that disparagingly, but rather want to give a word of caution to think about this when you are preparing what to bring with you.

Joey the tour guide was great and was very knowledgeable about what we were seeing. The visit in Cork was a little short but the lunch place he recommended was good.

This tour was a lot of fun! Our tour guide and driver, Joseph, had a LOT of energy! He was always singing and talking, but he was a lot of fun. He knew a lot about the history and legends around Ireland, and had a lot of great suggestions on what to do at the different locations. Each stop was really fun and had a lot to do.

Such an incredible tour! Viator linked us with the tour group Extreme Ireland and our tour guide Bobo was as warm and knowledgable as you would want. Our first stop at the Rock of Cashel was incredible. At first I had wished to skip it and spend more time at Blarney Castle but ended up being a highlight of our trip. Walking through the aged grounds was hauntingly beautiful. You will be so happy you got to experience it. Cork is a lively city but can be overwhelming in navigating. This tour gave us the option to roam on our own or follow our tour guide into the local best kept secrets. We got to see a classic old candy shop, the incredible lively market, and to an adventure climbing through the rafters of the Camden bells to get to the roof and see the most incredible view of Cork. We came face to face with the bells themselves at one point. Blarney Castle is a huge tourist attraction. Luckily our tour guide called ahead in the morning to find out if any cruise ships were coming in that could increase the wait for kissing the Blarney stone. This really helped with planning our day. The Blarney grounds are vast and incredibly beautiful. There is so much to see beyond the famed rock. The gardens and witches cave were our favorite attractions beyond the Castle. The stairs are steep to the Blarney stone and the quarters are tight but it was cool to check off the bucket list. This was overall such a value for the incredible experiences you will have. A few tips: Bring snacks for the ride and eat lunch in Cork. Blarney castle is incredible expensive. We also booked tours with Wild Rover, Finn McCool, and Pattys... Extreme Ireland had the roomiest busses which you want when you are traveling for over an hour and the warmest guides. They also have a policy to leave no passengers behind and gave us more time and wiggle room at the destinations. This was not the case with the other tour groups. Have a great time in Ireland and BOOK THIS TRIP!

This trip was flat out amazing. My wife and I were going to rent a car and drive out to western Ireland for a couple days but the itinerary changed and we decided to book this day trip. David our driver was an amazing guide, giving us facts about the country and area as we drove through. The whole trip was a success, we would have never thought to stop and see the Rock of Cashel or spend time in the city of Cork, but due to this trip we did and both were amazing stops. The Blarney Castle was definitely the high light of the tour, but all the additional stops, David's shopping advice, David's knowledge, and jokes made the tour fantastic.

Our tour guide / driver Joseph Patrick was fantastic. Besides providing constant information about Ireland's history, current events, tour locations, answering questions and describing numerous roadside sightings, his personality was fantastic, very warm and friendly. He sang Irish songs, told jokes and kept us entertained constantly throughout the day making a 12 hour trip very enjoyable and relaxing. He kept the group informed of arrival and departure times and kept the tour on schedule throughout the day. He was one of the best tour guides we have experienced over our decades of touring in Europe and the US.
