This was a great trip that was perfectly paced. We had plenty of time to explore nearly the entire grounds of Blarney and to give the stone a kiss.
The tour gave us a look at an interesting ruin, blarney castle, and cork. we did some shopping and had a fabulous lunch at the blarney castle stop.we could have spent more time here. Cork was not worth the time. It was unguided for one hour and we were not in an area that looked very interesting. We did get some shopping done at the marks and Spencer's.
Again, it gave us a look at a different and beautiful area of ireland
Awesome trip! It's neat to see different parts of the country and learn the history of the locations you are visiting along the way. The service from Paddywagon was great!
It is an all day adventure, 2 castles, and some time to look around Cork City. Our driver was great-lots of history, old and recent, and fun/funny!
We didn and #39;t realize how amazing the site of Blarney is! You could spend a whole day there! Overall really enjoyed this tour and our guide!
Great tour!! We had a fabulous time. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to see great scenery and have a good time. Our tour guide Dominic was absolutely wonderful and funny, and a great singer too. He kept us highly entertained with Irish history and a few songs along the way. A great family day.
The Blarney Castle and its surrounding grounds was worth every penny because of its beauty and history. We were also pleasantly surprised with The Poison Garden and The Hugging Trees. The tour guide, Alec, from Paddy Wagon Tours and Travel was passionately patriotic and well informed to be such a young looking Chap. GIVE HIM A RAIE!
This tour was great!!!! I can not remember our driver and tour guides names but we took the trip on July 13. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and funny!! He made for a possible long dry day, a very entertaining one!!! I don and #39;t think I slept on the bus one time!! I would take this tour again!!!!
Really nice tour, The Blarney castle was quite nice and the gardens were amazing.
The trip was wonderful and we were lucky enough to have a beautiful, sunny day. Alex, the guide, was very knowledgeable and gave good historical lectures. The driver sorry, I don't remember his name was great too. I definitely recommend this trip.
Good fun, well conducted, interesting sites. Enjoyed free wifi on the long drive.
Long day but well worth it, our guide was considerate, funny, and sang us songs!! You get to see much in one day.
Despite the rain, it was a wonderful experience. Our driver, Frank, suggested that rather than spend 2 hours walking around Cork in the wind and rain, we could go to the Rock of Cashel and explore this historic sight. Everyone on the tour unanimously agreed to the change and we were all glad to have the opportunity to see this site.
We took the Blarney day tour from Dublin which takes you to Cork, Cobh and Blarney Castle. It was a fantastic tour! Our driver, Frank, was humourous, knowledgeable and shared lots of information about Ireland with us during the drive. He was friendly and respectful of the clients, ie considering it's a trek out of Dublin 3-3.5 hrs he made sure to stop on the way there and back for food and bathroom breaks.
It was a rainy day, typical of Ireland, but seeing the quaint towns, kissing the Blarney stone, and seeing the countryside of Ireland was well worth it. Definitely recommend this trip p.s. I booked it through viator.com under Blarney day tour from Dublin
I wish I would have done an overnight trip because it was so amazing!
Our driver was good, tour was good also, we visited very exciting places, but I was very disappointed that our stay in Cork was only 1 hour instead of 1,5 hour as was written when I booked this tour.
Absolutely loved this tour! We had enough time to get the gift of gab and explore a good portion of the gardens, which we had no idea were so amazing. On our next trip we're planning a day just to explore Blarney. Also loved getting to see the Rock of Cashel and surrounding area as we originally thought it was a quick photo stop and instead got to spend an hour there. Ideally, I think it'd be better to add more time in Blarney and completely eliminate Cork. You get about 45 minutes in Cork City which isn't enough time to see much or do much of anything, especially when there's so much to see. Also we loved our bus driver, he was actually much better than the tour guide we had who seemed a bit immature and a bit new.
It is wonderful trip.long que for kissing Blarney stone. It took 2.30 hours. Tour guide is very good. I Recommend the trip.
This is the kind of tour I like. Although we did have a big bus, the tour size was only 17 people which meant the bus was crowded. Our driver/guide was excellent. Also he knew what time to get to the Castle so we didn't have long waits. Shortly after I went by the Blarney store, the lines got long.
We didn't get much information throughout the trip from the driver. The Rock of Cashel was beautiful and by far my favorite stop of the day. Blarney Castle was lovely and at that time of the year not at all crowded which was great. However, we didn't have nearly long enough to explore. We weren't given much information at all upon being dropped off for about 90 minutes in Cork, so sort of wandered aimlessly looking for a quick place to eat before having to jump right back on the bus and drive back to Dublin. I'm glad I got to see some of the countryside, but it wasn't the best of tours.
