This tour was amazing! Bryan (the driver) got us there and back safely, despite the wind and crazy small roads! Our tour guide, Dereck, was also great. He sang songs throughout our whole trip and was very knowledgeable about the area! Would highly recommend!
I absolutely loved this tour - the beauty of the Cliffs was breath taking! Our guide, Derrick - was very knowledgeable, and full of fun anecdotes and even Irish music! Our driver, Peter, did an excellent job in terrible weather conditions. I’d highly recommended this tour and this company.
Awesome Tour! Our tourguide Darek was friendly, funny and knew a lot aboute the Irish culture. Of you travel to irland, you just have to see the cliffs. It’s worth every euro. We really enjoyed it!
The best way to start off my trip in Ireland! Out tour guide and driver were very friendly and informative, we had some good laughs. The place is fascinating, and they gave us plenty of time and stops to admire the views and take pictures. Our guide pity I'm not good with names! decided to do the tour backwards that day, so we started at Kilmacduagh Monastery and finished in Galway, which was a smart decision because of the weather thanks to them we could enjoy everything with almost no rain!. He told us all he could about local traditions, history and architecture, without being annoying, so it was fun. And, obviously, the Cliffs are a must for whoever visits Ireland, such an unique place! Galways is adorable too!

Such a beautiful landscape. If you have the time, I highly recommend it.
Wonderful Trip. Our Guide/ Host Tara and Driver Mark were wonderful. How he got that big bus up and down those narrow roads with no incidents I will never know. Tara was a very knowledgebale guide about Ireland as well as all the stops. She was very sweet and helpful. Would definitely go on more tours with her as the guide. We had plenty of time in all of the necessary stops. The only thing missing was USB ports on the bus to charge phones for taking all of the wonderful pictures.
Derreck and Peter were our Guide and Driver and both were amazing!
Even though we had a member of the tour who was i want to believe sick and vomiting every 15 minutes on the side of the road... our guide was very supportive and concious about the schedule, so we were on time for every spot.
Wonderful trip, wonderful sightseeing and wonderful staff... perhaps they can extend the time for the cliffs instead of going to the baby cliffs... may be.. :
Appart from the above, during my stay in Dublin, I heard that this was the best company for touring, since they are very punctual and responsible as well as fun, and I totally agree with that opinions and I do reccomend this for you if you are going alone/couple/group.
We really enjoyed this tour. Our guide Eriel I'm probably misspelling his name and the driver Brian were very friendly and professional. Our guide was very knowledgeable of Irish history and the language as well as all the references regarding the sites we came across throughout the trip. He made the trip quite interesting with all the extra info and history notes. The bus always was very punctual to leave at the times specified by our guide, so keep in mind to not be late and be always on time back on the bus. We were also really lucky to have great weather at the cliffs for a late November day and have complete visibility, so that made the tour extra special. I will definitely recommend this tour for all you get for a get price.
We had a great time on this trip! Our tour guides were knowledgeable and kind, and their funny and historical commentary interspersed throughout the day really helped make the bus rides go quicker. An open mind is key for this excursion - when we arrived to the Cliffs it ended up being a cloudy day and there was not much visibility - however it was still great and when we went to the baby cliffs after the actual cliffs, we ended up seeing much more of the coastline. Stopping in Galway was also a great experience. The rest of our trip we stayed in Dublin but I would highly recommend this trip to anyone interested in getting out of the city for a day to see the beautiful western Irish countryside and coastline.
Not much of a tour person myself, I HIGHLY enjoyed this one and would definitely recommend it to anyone and everyone. Tara, the tour guide, was amazing - always feeding us with interesting bits and pieces of information but never being annoying or telling too much of the standard stuff. The time we had at each location was just right could have stayed in Galway for another hour but that's a personal opinion and the bus ride was safe, fast and comfortable. Guys, go and enjoy the beautiful sights, the friendly people and find out more about Ireland's history, geography and culture along the way! It's worth every penny.
Derrick was awesome! He was so friendly, informative and funny. He shared so much history and so many stories about each place that we went to as well as each place we went through. Derrick also shared a lot of good music with us as well as a list of a lot of great restaurants and pubs/bars to try!
This was a fun way to see another side of Ireland without doing the driving. Derrick was very informative and Petras handled those narrow roads with ease. Beautiful Cliffs of Moher. Galway was a bit to quick to see any sights besides the shops.
This tour was amazing! The driver Robbie and the guide Tara were perfect. They were friendly, funny, engaging and helpful. The tour itself was one that you don't want to miss as the Cliffs are stunning. However you also have the added bonus of seeing Galway City, the Burren and an amazing Abbey.
When we were there it was windy so unable to go all the way, but what a beautiful site to see. On your trip over to Ireland don't pass the Cliffs of Moher up.
Our knowledgeable guide, Eugene, made the trip an awesome one. He was both humorous and helpful. He shared lots of advice about visiting Ireland, and had so much knowledge about the tour itself. Our driver, Cornelius, was an expert! He was friendly and so talented. They were very accommodating!
Really nice Tour to the Cliff of Moher from Dublin, at first we weren't sure because there are not many reviews of the company, but we decided to give it a try and it was worth it. Our guide Derrick and our driver Petras were amazing and we learnt a lot about the History of Ireland. I can highly recommend it to anyone thinking of going to the Cliffs.
This tour was absolutely wonderful! The stops at the monastery, Galway, and the National Park I can't remember the name, but you looked like you were on the moon! on the way were SUPER great and I did not expect to enjoy them so much. Our guide was Jackie and driver Petras I hope I spelled that right!. Jackie was a very organized, informative, sweet, and fun guide! Petras deserves a MEDAL for some of the driving maneuvers he had to pull. You missed your calling in Nascar, Petras. Jackie walked us through the monastery and discussed the history of the beautiful location. We got SUPER lucky and had absolutely beautiful weather at the Cliffs of Moher. The Cliffs were phenomenal. I can't even describe the beauty and awe. Jackie gave us a quick walking tour through Galway as well, which was super helpful and fun! I cannot recommend this tour enough!
We had an amazing tour with Finn McCool's tours!
The bus left promptly at 7am as promised. The bus itself was nice and comfortable. The seats reclined and there was overhead storage for our backpacks. There was A/C and it was easy enough to dose off and catch some sleep.
We did our tour in reverse order as listed on the Trip Advisor site. We first stopped by the gas station and grabbed a quick bite to eat and use the restroom. We then went to the ruins of Kilmacduagh Monastery and learned some fascinating history. We then went to the Cliffs of Moher and spent nearly two hours there. We spent about an hour looking at the cliffs and took in the breathtaking views. We also ate the visitor's center.
We then left the cliffs and had a short photo opportunity at the Burren and then made our way to the charming town of Galway. We spent an hour at Galway which didn't seem enough to do a bit a shopping. We then drove back 2.5 hours to Dublin.
- Bring snacks for the bus.
- After a while the drive is mundane with just farmland and cows. It's scenic for the first couple of hours but eventually you might want to read a book or watch a show on your tablet.
- Wifi is spotty on the bus so don't expect for it to work well.
- Be sure to use the washroom in Galway as there's no stopping for 2.5 hours until Dublin.
This tour was everything we expected and more! Our tour guide Derrick was a right laugh, he was very knowledgable and kept us entertained during the right times and let us rest when it was appropriate; he made the whole day truly remarkable. Our driver Petras was amazing as well! 10/10 recommend!
This is a great tour and really packs in lots of amazing sights/stops in just a day. If you have limited time in Dublin I would definitely recommend this as a way to see other parts of Ireland and of course, the amazing Cliffs of Moher!
My friends and I highly recommend Finn McCool's. Our tour guide was extremely thorough, entertaining, and clear in his explanations of each stop and his short run-down of Irish history. Each stop is well deserved and photogenic! The bus left and arrived in Dublin exactly on time, with plenty of time for us to grab dinner in the city at the end. It was our favorite day of our trip!
The cliffs were magnificent!! When we first arrived the fog was everywhere but our guide told us it usually clears withing half an hour and so we had a quick meal and then went outside to see that the fog was gone! The trip is a very long...it is a full 13 hour day but includes beautiful scenery of the countryside and a couple of stops along the way to sight see, shop and eat. The ONLY issue was after the trip on the way back...we got stuck in traffic and were on the bus without bathroom facilities for 3 hours. I wish the tour guidewho was great!! would have asked the bus driver to stop at a rest area for any of the 45 people on the bus who may have needed a quick break from sitting. That was the only downside in the entire day.
Great tour with a great driver an well informed tour guide that was both interesting and informative. The cliffs and Burren both beautiful and unforgettable! Will never forget this tour !
