The cliffs were stunning and worth every minute and penny even with the insane winds and cold. Galway had a nice 30 minute walking tour led by our guide and then had about an hour to grab and bite and explore the town center. Nicholas was our tour guide and did an excellent job sharing history, tips, and stories. He even sang for us while playing the yukelele on the drive!!! Great job!
We had an amazing time the driver and the guide were both helpful Noel and Marshall keep it up guys xx
This was my second time to the Cliffs and it still felt like a once in a lifetime experience. We had a fantastic Guide and Driver who were kind enough to invite us up front since we were some of the only English speakers on board. The views from the front of the bus are AMAZING - the journey was as breathtaking as the destinations. If you are able to sit in the first row of seats and there isn't anyone with a mobility concern that might need those seats - do it! Photo opportunities galore. The stops were all timed well - we had enough time at the Cliffs to hike around to all of the vantage points and still had time to grab some soup at the cafe and peruse the shop. The Burren stop was quick but adequate. We had just enough time in Galway but I would suggest taking a separate trip to Galway if you really want time for a stroll, shopping AND a pint. I also really appreciated the music that our Guide played on the bus - it was a great mixture of traditional folk music, some of the Pop greats, and even more current acts like Hozier personal favorite!. The Guide and Driver also gave us all helpful tips for restaurants and pubs as we made it back into Dublin which was greatly appreciated.
This was a jam packed day trip well worth the price. It was too foggy to see the cliffs on the day we visited but the drive was so scenic and lush.....just like you see in the movies. Galway is so charming, wish we had more time there but it was a good taste of what the smaller cities in Ireland have to offer.
Some minor bus issues but otherwise a great tour. Our guide, Kim, was cheerful and funny telling some lovely old Irish stories. Thank you for a great trip.
By far the best day trip of my entire life. I was a single mom from the US traveling with my 7 and 13 yr olds. They catered to us and stopped at the most beautiful unexpected places. Clean big coach bus. I searched and searched for the perfect tour as this was on the top of my bucket list.Best choice
This tour’s amazing. It w/ an all day excursion, a bit cold and windy but well worth the price. There w/ a storm that came into the cliffs of Moher so our tour guide and bus driver decided to go to Galloway First, then the Wild Atlantic Way and finished with Cliffs of Moher. Tour guide w/exceptional
Awesome! Straight forward instructions on where to meet - and was on time with the schedule for the day. You're given two hours at the Cliffs to explore the area, and another two hour stop at Galway. You get to see so much in one day -- I highly recommend this tour guide for anyone looking to go :
Went in Dec 2017 was cold and windy and started to rain but I was so glad I went the Cliffs were breathtaking and the guide and driver were great.
Wonderful trip! Good way to see a good part of Ireland in one day. Aislee and Gerry were very professional and courteous.
Great day tour! We didn't have much time in Dublin so this was a great all day tour to see the interior and Atlantic side of Ireland.
Tour guide was funny and gave a great insight into Irish culture and history. Glad we stayed at the Cliffs for a while so that the fog cleared. Galway is a very quaint town...tour has made me want to go back.
This trip is great for people looking for a guided tour. You don't have to worry about travel arrangements and bathroom stops and accommodation because the tour guide does all that for you. Richard, our tour guide and John the bus driver were also very kind and funny. They would also be kind to those returning late to the bus after the designated meet up time. The sights are great and they take you to places only accessible by car or coach. Great trip, would highly recommend. 10/10 would do it again.
it was awesome. would highly recommend the tour. it was bitterly cold but we still enjoyed it
This tour was very organized and I really enjoyed the commentary and activities that were planned. Definitely worth the trip!
This was amazing. Steven and Nicholas were lovely despite how rude everyone on our tour was. I would have loved to hear what Nicholas was saying but the other guests preferred to talk over top of him. He seemed really informative and had great interpersonal skills. The cliffs are gorgeous. I would have loved to do the walking tour through Galway but chose not to so that we were not with the other passengers. In all the trip is worth it. Dress warmly and comfortably. Its an opportunity of a life time.
Our tour guide Nicholas was informative and entertained us with songs played on his ukelele, which i totally enjoyed as I am learning to play. The Cliffs of Moher are a must see, even on a rainy day like we had. Loved The Burren and Galway city as well.
This tour was amazing--incredibly informative and entertaining, perfectly balanced with opportunities for leisure and free time at the various stops. Noel the tour guide was knowledgable and funny, and provided awesome recommendations for the time spent in Galway, in addition to places in Dublin. Seeing the countryside of Ireland and the beautiful sights in person, including the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren, are incomparable to what is captured in photographs. I highly recommend this tour!
This was a fantastic tour. Our guides were incredible and kept the whole day entertaining. The cliffs were beautiful. There is nothing I would change about this tour.
This tour was incredible, and we had an absolutely gorgeous day to enjoy it. Noel was our guide and was amazing - request his tours if you can! He was knowledgeable and entertaining, and made sure that we got the most out of our day. Not only that, but when we returned to Dublin, he gave great recommendations for eating, drinking, music, etc. We went to the Celt - twice, in fact, since we loved it so much. Will definitely be booking more tours with Wild Rover when I go back!
