We really enjoyed this half day trip. Our guide was superb. He was so funny, we laughed so much! And he had a lot of really interesting knowledge to share during the whole trip. The Malahide Castle was very interesting, only downside was that the butterfly house must had been too cold as all the butterflies where either dead or in a coma. The shop in Malahide Casle was huge and you could do some nice shopping there. The Village of Howth was lovely. The weather was cold and we had some hale, it felt like being in a Norwegian fishing harbor in the middle of the winter we where there 10th of December 2017. We saw seals and that was lovely. Our guide recommended a fish and chips lunch at Crabby Joes restaurant, and it was the best I ever had. I really do recommend this trip. A really nice way to get to know Ireland outside of Dublin city center.
Beautiful castle and Howth was such a great little seaside town!!
We only had a short time in Dublin, so we wanted to see as much as possible. This side trip helped us to see a bit of the country side as well as visiting a fishing village in Howth .Malahide castle was very interesting.
This tour was absolutely amazing, our tour guide Eoin had the most brilliant sense of humour and made the day an absolute pleasure! Malahide Castle was a total gem and Crabby Joe’s food is a must!
Molto bello il castello di Malahide e caratteristico il paesino di Howth, di pescatori molto bella la baia
We did this tour as a side trip, to expecting much. We were so wrong. We enjoyed Malahide and the castle but the drive along Dublin Bay and the time in Howt was spectacular. This trip is so worth doing!!
A great tour from start to finish. Malahide Castle tour was very good. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and kept tour moving at a good pace. Loved the visit to Howth Village. A small seaside fishing port quite close to Dublin. A hidden gem. Fantastic array of seafood stores selling fresh seafood. Purchased a package of smoked Mackerel. Awesome. If we ever go back to Dublin I would make it a point of returning here and staying overnight if possible.
Wonderful! Our driver had a GREAT SENSE OF HUMOR. Had a wonderful couple of hours! Very enjoyable, lots to see and lots of fun facts to share
Howth is your first stop before traveling and ending at a little town of Avoca, everything you see hear and smell is just so incredibly beautiful you'll never want to leave!!!
A very nice tour of parts of Dublin, Dublin bay and the coast and of course Malahide Castle. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and lots of fun, pointing out all kinds of interesting things to see. Crabby Joe's in Howth had an absolutely delicious sea food chowder that I am sad I won't have again unless I get to come back to Dublin. A good way to spend an afternoon!

Really enjoyed this trip. It was a quick half day but worth it! Nice getting out of the city but not going too far
This was a great trip, but what made it a five star rating was the driver/host of the tour. He filled every moment with fun facts, antidotes and history and even treated us to delightful Irish flute music on a train stop. Would love to have him on every tour!
Nice short half-day trip from Dublin. Eoin was a great host, funny and a wealth of knowledge about Irish history. Be sure to check our the walled garden at the castle. We opted to drop off the tour in Howth and have a more leisurely lunch and Eoin gave us good info on how to hop the train back or wait for him to come back around with the afternoon tour. All in all, a great tour for the time and money.
The sights and sounds were terrific and the tour driver made the whole experience even more than could be expected - just a wonderful afternoon. Recommend afternoon as there is no rush to get back!
Very well done tour. Malahide Castle was an amazing place, steeped in Irish history. The trip was done in open double decker bus, so the panoramic views were great. The town of Howth and the drive along Dublin Bay were spectacular. Our driver/ guide, was Dominic. He was fantastic...funny and infirmative. Probably kissed the Blarney Stone a few times. Great time..great value

EXCELLENT tour! We got to stop in Belfast too. Would highly recommend.
Our tour was fun and fantastic. Our guide was very informative and friendly. We were a group of 5 and really enjoyed it!
Excellent tour. Would have liked a bit more time to view grounds. Had to hurry to grab a bit oif food.
Bus driver/tour guide was very interesting, and accomodating. Trip to Howth was perfect.
Had a great afternoon spent driving through Dublin enroute to Malahide. Our driver-guide, whom I cannot remember her name!, was awesome! Very funny and enjoyable to listen to and interact with. Upon arrival at Malahide Castle, we were greeted by a guide who walked us through the castle, explaining the history and artifacts and pointing out little quirks here and there. We then had enough free time to explore the gardens on the grounds. Quite lovely. We then returned to the bus and were driven to Malahide in Dublin Bay.
My husband and I had read about a restaurant in Malahide and inquired about it to our driver-guide. She called them for us my phone refused to work that day and made a reservation for us. She then explained where to find the train station for our return to Dublin instead of getting an expensive taxi. The bus left us in Malahide as planned, lol! and we explored the town and pier until our dinner reservation time.
Overall, a fantastic short tour. We highly recommend it! I WISH I could remember our driver-guide's name as she was exceptional at her job and went above and beyond to accommodate us on our spontaneous special request. OH! And despite her refusal to accept, I did dump 10Euro into her tip basket!
excellent the only problem getting to the start from our accommodation
the driver and guide, Anne, was very kind
the castle is a beauty location
and the stop in Howth was beauty, too
Our tour guide was great! She even gave us the option to stay in Howth until the next tour came by later that afternoon! It was nice to see some of the Irish countryside.
This was a hoot laughed till I cried seen some stuff like in pink Floyd
My wife and I had a wonderful time on our trip. Would highly recommend it to anyone. What made this trip so special was our driver Eoim, he made everything g come alive and explained to us every place we traveled by. Incredible trip!
