The bus driver was extremely informative and so much fun, it was the best hop on hop off bus tour we have done
The best way to get around the city. Stops at all the important places and gives some good info on the city as were going around.
Ride the bus for the whole route around and then decide where to get off. Great sights
My friend and I ended up riding it three times around the city then stoped at the National Museum. Don't bother with the modern museum. Loved Trinity and the book of Kells - second time. The whole experience was well worth it, especially since I'm disabled.
The Green Bus provides an excellent service. Buses run about every 15 minute. Recommend the live commentary buses as opposed to those with a pre recorded guide in 10 languages. The live commentary is full of amusing stories and can react to current situations, such as we had a motorist going the wrong way up a one way street, our guide had a field day with that one.
Recommend the 2 day pass if you have time, there is far too much to see in one day. Be aware that not all museums are open every day, some close on weekends or Mondays.
The drivers on these buses are very informative about all of the sites that you are passing. They make it very interesting. We enjoyed the bus tour and would do it again.
The only way to see Dublin, save a ton of money using this Sightseeing Taxi. This was our 5th time using the Hop on Hop off tour busses and they are the best. See all the hotspots all day long, take it out to dinner in the evening and save the rental car/taxi money. Awesome!
A great way to experience the various sites of Dublin.
Great way to see the city. We arrived by cruise ship and had a little walk to the first stop about a mile. But it was easy. Totally recommend!
We attended this tour on a lovely May day and our tour guide, Kevin, was an absolute treat! He had a witty sense of humor and a lovely singing voice that immersed us in the Irish culture we had heard so much about. While sitting on the top level of the bus truly makes the experience, it can get a bit windy, so plan ahead and bring a coat. There IS a portion of covered seating towards the front of the upper level, but we much preferred sitting in the open, able to see all of the sites with no obstructions. Hands down the best thing to do on your first day! When we come back to Dublin, we will definitely be going on the Hop-On Hop-Off tour again!
