The early access tour of the Book of Kells, Trinity College, and Dublin Castle is an exceptional value. Our tour guide, Neil McCourt, combined knowledge, wit, and a genuine feel for the group to keep us all enthralled and entertained. We dodged the crowds and had plenty of time to ask questions. He even recommended a great place for lunch afterwards (O’Neill’s).
Well worth it!

Brian was great! We got to see so much of the Library without the long wait in line and all the sites on the walking tour to Dublin Castle. Brian was quite a story teller. Really enjoyed!

This was an absolutely phenomenal tour. I am so glad I booked it! This was our last big tour on our trip, and it really ended things on a high note. Our tour guide Neil was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and funny! While some history-focused tours can be a bit stuffy and sometimes even boring, this one was both fascinating and fun. We learned many interesting things about the college, the Book of Kells, the Dublin castle and the city of Dublin in general, all while laughing and having a great time. I recommend this tour to ANYONE visiting Dublin, not just the history buffs!

Our tour guide was Neil, he was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable and shared so much information by telling stories instead of just giving us facts. We walked almost 5 miles that day , but he gave us breaks and found places for us to rest while he kept talking about this beautiful place that he knows so well. We had to leave the group at the end as had to get checked out of our hotel , so did not have a chance to properly express to Neil how much we enjoyed our morning with him on our 1st day of our vacation in Dublin. We had a couple of more tour guides on the rest of our trip - but none can compare with Neil - Thank you again for doing such a great job we learned so much from you .

Excellent tour. Guide was extremely knowledgable as well as funny. He knew the ins and outs and we got to see the book, before anyone else. The Long Library was so beautiful and the grounds also. This tour is also a must while in Dublin even if you have to go the earliest one at 8 am...it fills up very quickly...Loved it!!

We travel a lot and go to many destinations courtesy of cruise ships. We have never had a bad tour experience and I can honestly say this was the best tour I have ever been on!!! When booking this tour it indicated that it was a 2.5 hour tour of the Book of Kells and Dublin Castle. This turned out to be a four hour excursion that included a walking tour of Dublin and great stories and history. Neil our guide was so enjoyable and knowledgeable of history and sites and shared some of his favorite local places with us. In addition, he helped my mom find a Connemara Marble store after the tour! Very enjoyable and I learned a lot!

We were there on Easter Sunday and it was busy! We started a little early to get ahead of the crowd but it was still packed. Our tour guide, Brian, was full of info and very knowledgeable about the history of the Book of Kells and we learned a ton. A very nice display on the first floor explaining much about the Book and the library was awesome. I love history so this was a must do for me! A nice walk to Dublin Castle with some more history along the way and at the final stop in the garden at the castle. We also did a tour of the castle which is separate but filled out the day.
