This was a wonderful tour. Mary, our guide, was very knowledgeable about Irish history and told it in a way that made it relevant to the whole group. We also got a walking tour of the city as we made our way to Dublin Castle. Really enjoyed learing about the city and how important streets and buildings where to Dublin's history. Highly recommended.
This was a great tour - Mary was our guide. She was informative and really passionate about the history of both the Book of Kells and Dublin generally. Fascinating to see the manuscript and then to see some of the beautiful georigian and victorian architecture in the city. Tour was scheduled for 2 hours, but really ended up being closer to 3 hours. Highly recommend.

This was another awesome experience. Our movement throughout Ireland made the trip fast but enjoyable. Tried to see all four corners of the country and with Viator that was somewhat possible. I would encourage all who intend to visit to keep it on yor list. It is a trip well worth the experience.
Excellent tour with Sean C.. The early admission was great due to the bus loads of people that arrive later in the morning.
Sean was very thorough and personable. He provided a wonderful overview of the history of Ireland in an entertaining manner.
My family and I would highly recommend Sean and this tour.
Our tour guide was very knowlegable about the Book of Kells and the Dublin Castle. It's nice to have a walking tour and no wait for admissions.
If you only do one thing in Dublin this is what you want to do. The book was breathtaking. The crowds were huge so getting in early was very important. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. It would not have been as good without her. The archivist are now also giving a little lecture so our tour guide made sure we heard it. Highlight of my time in Dublin.
Wonderful tour with guide, Mary Whelan. Informative and given our tight schedule, a great way to get to some of Dublin's essentials.
Sarah was fantastic! She was incredibly friendly and welcoming and had no problem entertaining us with facts of the city even while waiting in line for the attractions to open. We got more than we paid for with her extensive knowledge of Dublin. The sights were exceptional and the tour group size intimate enough to be able to ask questions one on one. Would definitely recommend as a great introductory history lesson about the city.
So glad I finally got to see the Book of Kells. Trinity College, the Library, the Book of Kells museum and our guide were all excellent the highlights of our stay in Dublin. Highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in medieval and Irish history.
Our guide through the book of keels tour was wonderful. Getting in before the crowds is really worth it as it was a little tight as we were leaving. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and shared fascinating stories as we worked our way through the famous library and the streets of Dublin
I had a wonderful guide, knowledgeable and passionate about her subjects. She made history come alive.
I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Dublin. We avoided lines to see the book itself and the insight our guide, Sarah, provided made us appreciate the book and castle all the more. Sarah was awesome- energetic, knowledgable, and full of great stories! Tour lasts about 3 hours.
We had an excellent tour to the Book of Kells and Dublin Castle thanks to the knowledge and passion of our tour guide - Sarah Kenny.
Trinity College and the Book of Kells are at the heart of Ireland. Our guide was passionate and very knowledgeable -- and a pleasant person to spend a few hours with.
Having a guide made our trip much more productive than if we had wandered around with a guidebook in hand. Well worth the cost.
Seeing the Book of Kells with a very small group allowed us a very long time to really study the pages that were on display that day. Of course it is a phenomenal work of art but also the exhibit explaining the process was fascinating. Once we were all satisfied we had seen enough we moved upstairs to the amazing library. This really needs to be seen to be appreciated. Our guide explained how the system works and why there were so many busts of famous people lining the stacks. A replica of Brian Boru's harp was interesting especially for the musicians in the group. Once we left the library, we went on to visit Dublin Castle. Our guide had some amusing tales to tell about the castle and its many, many changes through the years. Some of the high points of interest are covered by this tour for those who want a scholarly overview and have limited time in Dublin.
Our tour was wonderful!! Our guide Mary was extremely knowledgeable, personable and helpful. We learned a great deal and it was one of the high points of the trip.
Booking the trip and skipping the lines for the viewing was worth the price of admission alone. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and really highlighted the significance of the book. The additional walking tour after the viewing was very informative and is highly recommended to understand the history of the Irish revolution. Be prepared to spend a full three hours on the tour if needed as you will get the most for your money

This tour was excellent. Our tour guide Mary was informative and professional. Our tour was Sunday morning, an especially busy day for the tour and she quickly obtained skip the line access and we began the tour with out delay. I would highly recommend this tour.
