This tour was 100 worth it! Brian took us straight through to the Book of Kells nimbly avoiding everyone else checking out the exhibits along the way so we got to enjoy a few minutes without anyone else in the room. The book and the Long Library are beautiful, but I would not have enjoyed them so much if we didn't have the great history and facts provided by Brian. We had a quick walk through some areas in Dublin as well and finished at Dublin Castle. I actually would have liked the tour to be longer so that we could have more time at some of the sites along the way.
Our guide gave us more history and insight into Irish history than I expected. Fast paced and fun.
Book this tour!!! Absolutely amazing tour and I am so happy we did and skipped the line and got early viewing! The castle was beautiful and the tour guide was knowledgable and very informative.

Unbelievable! When you see the Book of Kells you can actually see the hard work and time it took to create.
Our tour guide was excellent....he was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about history. This tour is a must see for visitors to Dublin.
This place has so much history, and its amazing to see. My daughter now wants to go study in Dublin because of its beauty.
This is worth every penny! Wear comfortable shoes and enjoy! Brian was a hoot.
Brian was a terrific guide. He was informative and funny. It was great to get into see the Book of Kells before the crowd. The exterior tour of the Dublin Castle led me to the gem of my trip, the Chester Beatty Library which Brian recommended.
Wonderful tour, our guide Neil McCourt was very knowledgeable. He made the tour light-hearted, fun, and informative! Highly recommend!

The guide was outstanding and so delightful. Well worth going early and getting there prior to the crowds.
Beautiful! The traditional Harp of ireland was inspirational. The Book of Kells and its history had us mesmerized.
See it almost on your own, avoid lines and save time, well organized
Neil was a fantastic guide. He was knowledgeable and took time to answer questions and give history on everything we saw. After walking around the exterior of Dublin Castle and getting the history from him, I didn't feel a need to go inside. Definitely do the morning tour, if you can - we didn't have to wait at all to see the Book of Kells, and because we were the first ones in the door, there was no crowding around the exhibit to see the book.
Neil was a fantastic guide. He was extremely knowledgeable, took time to answer questions even from people not in our group, and spent extra time with us. After seeing the exterior of the Castle and getting the history from Neil, I didn't feel a need to do the inside portion though, my friend and I had already been inside two other castles/palaces in the same week so that may have had something to do with it. I definitely recommend doing this in the morning - we didn't have to wait to see the Book of Kells at all, and since we were the first ones in, there was no crowding around to see it and we were able to take our time in the book's room.
I highly recommend this tour. Our tour guide Neal McCourt was professional, knowledgeable and amusing. The Library was awe inspiring and we had a great walk around Trinity College and Dublin to Dublin Castle.
Wow, the library is worth seeing alone. But, Neal was so incredibly knowledgeable and made the experience more than worth the money. The tour actually included a bit more than I thought it would so that was great. I learned a great deal of knowledge and was able to have a much greater appreciation for what I was seeing due to Neal.
We were one of three couples, an older couple like us from Toronto, and another well-traveled young couple from Barcelona who had been to our native capital Providence, RI. Our LetzGo travel guide, Brian High King Buru Molloy was finishing his second season in his role, readying for a vacation with family in southern Spain. The 2 1/2 hour tour lasted over 3 hours, with Brian effusively thanking us for being such a good group. We were in the first tour of the day 8:15, first in Trinity to view the Book of Kells which had just turned a new page happens about every three months which our guide was as excited as us to see. The Kells exhibit was fascinating, as was the visit upstairs to the Long Room with its vast collection of books, busts, and manuscripts dating to the medieval period, along with a copy of the Irish Constitution. Following a stop at the central tower on campus and a restroom break, including some interesting historical and humorous anecdotes, we left campus for the walking tour to Dublin Castle the site of the previous night's Culture Night concert and city-wide annual celebration. The walk was peppered with stops at the Molloy Malone statue a coffee kiosk in one of the historical marketplaces dating to the 1600's a former in-town dwelling now shops and interior courtyard of a 17th century magistrate whose country estate makes Downtown Abbey look like a dump periodic Irish-humored anecdotes to enliven the historical script, directions to nearby points of interest and the early Viking history delivered in the Gardens of Dublin Castle. We concluded the tour after 11:00 a.m in the courtyard outside the castle concert venue was being dismantled inside. Brian escorted us to nearby Dame St. with its restaurants, shops. and bus stops and provided a lunch recommendation to the couple from Toronto. He was most gracious, enthusiastic, entertaining, and informative.
Fantastic tour! Neil did a great job of explaining things along the way. He had fun stories and we could have listened all day! We totally recommend the Early Access tour. The Book of Kells is a phenomenal thing to see and it was nice to do it before the throngs of people came. Neil made sure to take us there first before we saw the rest of the sights. He then took us on a wonderful tour around the Trinity campus, the castle grounds and that part of the city, giving us lots of ideas for things to see during our stay.
Truly amazing. Our tour guide Neil was fantastic. Very informative and entertaining.
This is the only way to see the Book of Kells. If you wait for the general admission you will be in line for hours. Our guide Brian was very knowledgeable and did an excellent job.
Brian was a fantastic guide. His stories of Dublin kept us all fascinated. A great tour with wonderful early access to the Book of Kells, we had it all to ourselves for a few moments except for the security guard! Saw lots of Dublin and Brian gave us great tips for more to see. A great tour.
Brian did a wonderful job of imparting 100s of years of Irish history on us. He was a wealth of knowledge and gave us a great history lesson of each location. He was well matched for our group. Highly recommend.
Our guide, Neil, was interesting, informative and was a great story teller. He made the experience even better than we expected. Highly recommended!
Brian Molloy made it a special walking tour for his abundant knowledge, patient answering of questions of all sorts, and his considerate for all participants of all levels of abilities and knowledge. From the Trinity College and the Book of Kells to the Molly Maguire fishmonger statue, to the sights along the way and the Dublin Castle tour, Brian kept the interest of all participants, stopping when someone needed to rest a minute to answering questions about sights and sites along the tour, wonderful experience. I highly recommend it. You will be much better informed about the stunning artistry of the work of the monks who created the Book of Kells, it's miraculous recovery and survival, Irish History and Dublin by taking this tour with Brian.
