A highlight of our 3 week UK trip. The tour left on time, the bus driver was very funny, informative and polite. Everything that was promised in the description was delivered. The optional Black taxi tour in Belfast is a definite must, would love to have had a bit more than just the hour doing this as it was quite rushed and also meant you did not get time to grab lunch or find the toilets but very glad we did it!. you can't go wrong with this tour.
This was an amazing excursion! It was a long day that was packed with lots of great stops and went by very fast. The bus was comfortable and stops were made for snacks and restrooms. We got lucky and had perfect weather. The stop at The Dark Hedges was about 15 minutes and was all that is needed to take a quick look around and a few photos. The rope bridge was fun and the landscape is beautiful. We had a very clear day and could see the coast of Scotland! Lunch was at a very cute, small roadside restaurant that seemed prepared for our arrival. The food was served quickly, tasted good, and very reasonably priced!
Giant's Causeway was beautiful and amazing. We had a great time climbing on the rocks and hiking around the area. We had about 2 hours there, which was a good amount of time, but it would have been nice to have a little longer.
Belfast is an interesting place with a lot of history. We had about 1.5 hours there and went to an old pub and walked around the capital area. The last stop was just a quick pullover and photo op of a seaside castle.
Overall this tour is highly recommended and a ton of fun!
Our Tour guide Derek was amazing with History and gave great tips on how to get around and where to go. We saw amazing and breathtaking sights on this trip, would definitely recommend it. The red rope bridge is fantastic with amazing cliff pictures
Giant and #39;s Causeway, the bridge, Belfast, and more; this is a great way to see Northern Ireland in a day. You and #39;re given enough time to relax at each spot, plus the driver was friendly and capable.
the tour worked out perfectly, we were able to spend a fair amount of time in each and every location we visited.our driver/guide, Derek, was simply the best: he gave us many useful tips and also explained thouroughly the excurions we were about to do.
Highly recommend this tour. Absolutely beautiful !!!!!
Our tour guide, Jim was the BEST!!!! He took great care of us and
his stories were not only informative but fun to listen to as well.
Rope bridge along the was so cool and the pictures we got were great.
I was hesitant to book this because it was 14 hours long but it doesn't seem like
that at all. You will stop for coffee, lunch and Belfast on way home.
A great way to see the country side of Ireland.
The guide was very friendly, tha places incredible and visiting Belfast and getting to know its politic history made me enjoy the trip even more
This tour was very well done and a wonderful trip. The attractions are outstanding - absolutely unique and breath taking and not to be missed. The bus was clean and comfortable no bathroom and we stayed on schedule without feeling at all rushed. The pub we went to for lunch was nice. There was plenty of time for walking/exploring/picture taking. The tour guides were great. There was just the right amount of talking and music to make it entertaining and informative with out being annoying. However I did not think the 1 hour stop in Belfast was necessary.
The tour guide was humorous and kept us on schedule the entire day - we had a couple delays but were able to make up for them easily. We went to the Dark Hedges, Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge which was unexpectedly beautiful, Giant's Causeway, a photo stop for some castle, and Belfast.
We also made a couple stops for snacks and lunch. In Belfast, you are given the option to go on a political tour or walk around the city yourself for about an hour. We did the tour, thankfully, since this was the highlight of my day!
FABULOUS! This was a really great tour, mostly because of Louise, our guide, who was really lovely. Her wry sense of humor combined with her knowledge base made the trip extremely worthwhile and unexpectedly fun. The bus driver Larry was great as well. Highly recommend - but beware.... it's a whole day and a lot of time on the bus.
A great day trip. Amazing scenery. Knowledgable and friendly guide (Kevin). Loved it.
Really enjoyed this tour even though it was a rainy day. The guide was interesting, knowledgeable and engaging. He was able to distill a lot of information about the sites while managing to entertain at the same time. We were given sufficient time to explore all of the beautiful sites.
Had a brilliant day out with Owen. Was long but really enjoyable. The side trip in Belfast was a real bonus and complete eye opener. Highly recommend this trip!
The tour went exactly as planned excellent time keeping and a marvelous driver Derek.
Excellent tour. While the sites seen are similar to other Giant Causeway tours, this one stands out because of the bus driver...Mac. Mac gave us history along the way, along with jokes and songs. Really made the long trip more enjoyable.
The sites were awesome and the bus clean and comfortable.
Great day trip. Lot to see. Ireland is a beautiful country.
Would like to come back again and see other parts of the island too.
Jim was an amazing guide!!!!! His stories about Ireland were so interesting, he kept us interested all day long! He was like a father for us also! The tour was amazing too! You can't miss this one!!!
Our driver Wayne was awesome! He was a plethera of historical knowledge and had a great sense of humor.
Well worth doing. The natural beauty of the Gian'ts Causeway and Carrick a Rede is worth seeing. And, the guide's commentary going through Belfast really highlighted the history and current status of the Troubles in Ireland. A great combination of nature and history. Thanks.
This tour was amazing! Barry was our guide and driver and he was a gem. Very funny, very informative and nice all around guy. We ran a bit late coming back to Dublin, but that was mainly due to some passengers that didn't quite grasp the concept of time management. When you get to Belfast, do the black taxi tour if you are into history. It's very informative and you'll get to tour with some interesting cabbies. :
This was my favorite tour! The views were unbelievable!! There is a lot of walking especially at the Carrick-a-rede rope bridge. Wear your walking shoes!
