  • Not recommended for small children. If they are very used to travelling on a bus tour and very used to walking, please book 1 seat per child and bring your own child seat.

  • If passengers are late to the pick up the bus will not wait for them even if they call the office before hand. Must make sure they are on time. If passengers are intoxicated at any stage of the tour they will not be allowed on/back on the bus.

  • The pick up point is in the City Centre so there is no parking available for passengers to leave their cars for the entire day.

This is a must if you’re in Dublin for a few days. Beautiful scenery and plenty of time to explore Glendalough and Kilkenny. The coach is comfortable and our guide, Aoife, was very friendly and knowledgeable. The best driver, Saleh. He was always smiling and courteous and very safe driver. Thank you both Aoife and Saleh!

2 hours each was a good length of time to see Glendalough and Kilkenny. The sheepdog demonstration and talk was very enlightening. Our tour guide Godfrey was humorous and informative. Glad I did this your and not a shorter one.
Overall very good trip to Kilkenny, etc.

Sheepdog demonstration was excellent. Glendalough stop was interesting but too long. Would have liked more time for lunch and visit in Kilkenny. A very good trip for the discounted senior rate we received. Bus ride was comfortable but long with a very good guide.

It was really nice, the sheepdog exhibition was lovely. Would've loved some more time in Kilkenny city however as the castle pretty much took up all our time.

Worst experience with viator. We have been on other tours where people show up late and the tour group waits a few minutes. However this tour group I will avoid using if I can for future bookings. Our hotel taxi was late and we arrived 7 minutes after and text the tour group and they didn’t wait a few more minutes for us. We never took our tour and it was non refundable since it was the day of. Very very very disappointed with this group.

Other people paid to go on tour as well and deserve full time at the attractions. Its not just a tour for you If your always late like you say in your description please book a private tour where you wont waste other guests money and time Sending a viator message 10 minutes after the departure time saying "keep the tour, we are on the way" is not helpful

Beautiful way to get out of Dublin

Tour guide was great, plenty of restroom stops and there was a toilet on the bus ( you never know when you plan for a long day). Pay attention when they say to take all your belongings off the bus. I forgot my sweater and tried for 2 days unsuccessfully to get it back. It's a beautiful countryside. My favorite part was the sheepdog trials.. The sheep owner explained all about the dog training and the sheep. Makes a cute sheep racing video. Weather was great the day I went.

Hazel, a very knowledgeable tour guide provided a great overview of Monastic city ruins and Kilkenny history. Seeing the awesome Irish working dogs in action was a special bonus we really enjoyed.

My only comment is for attendees to be aware, there is no stop for lunch! Plan to eat after the hike in Glendalough or you will be very hungry. Roger was fantastic and we had a great time!

It was a great experience! Thanks to our guide Godfrey and driver Thomas, this trip was full of fun. We got to breathe the fish air in Glendalough mountain, touch a baby lamb, and watch a collie dog herd the sheep. Such a great day, would definitely recommend to all my friends.

Fantastic day trip from Dublin! Glendalough was a beautiful, tranquille place to start the morning. The Irish working sheepdog demonstration was so entertaining and memorable - Michael and his border collies Rose and Maggie put on a great show! The medieval city of Kilkenny was the last stop - also lovely! Hazel was a wonderful tour guide!! Highly recommend!

By far, the sheep herding demonstration with the opportunity to hold a lamb was the best part of this trip. A great presentation, informative and so much fun cuddling up with a little lamb.

Glendalough was BEAUTIFUL!! Make sure you track your time well because alrhough2 hrs seems like a lot of time it is easy to lose track because the natural beauty is so overwhelming. The sheepdog demo was so much fun! Highly recommend.

Amazing tour. Though the weather was not the greatest because of the snow, Godfrey and Fred were wonderful! The other sites were great as well. We didn’t get to explore Wicklow due to a random snow blizzard, but that’s ok. Will save it for the next trip :) Thank you!!
