This was by far my favorite tour while in Ireland! The sights were magnificent, the bus was clean, and the tour guides, Richard and Richard were by far the best guides! They made for the most pleasant day!
One of my favorite tours while in Ireland! The sights were amazing, and the tour guides, Richard and Richard were highly entertaining and well informed! They made for a very pleasant outing!
Great tour with friendly guide Anthony and driver Frank of Rover Dog Tours, fun too. Lots to see and Wicklow Mountains very scenic. Worth taking time to do and good to see the countryside.
glendalough is magic! make sure you take the walk to the two lakes.
Excellent trip. Our guide Jim and driver John were fantastic. Highly recommended. We had a great time.
Great trip, Richard the guide was awesome, it was pouring rain but still managed to make it a fun trip. The scenery is amazing! I realy enjoyed my self.
This was a fantastic tour run by Wild Rover. Our guide Yoan made the day even better with his knowledge of history, language and especially his sense of humor! Everything was organized, punctual, and yet relaxed and enjoyable!
We really enjoyed this tour. The guide was great and really made it worthwhile. We could not have done this on our own and have had the understanding and context that she provided to all that we saw. We saw a lot that day between Kilkenny and Glendalough and would have like to have spent more time at both but the tradeoff was worth it given the quality of our guide.
The tour guide and the driver were terrific. The tour was very well done. We had plenty of time to do what we needed and did learn about the area. I know now that I would love to spend more time in Kilkenny -- maybe on the next trip
This tour was wonderful. Our tour guide was very nice and the bus driver equally so. We had enough time time to explore the sites on our own and also a guided tour was offered at each stop. This is the only tour I booked on my very limited time in Dublin and it was a great choice.
Road rover tours was amazing, they are very engaging with everybody, they make sure everybody is happy and enjoying them selves. This was such an amazing tour make sure you have walking comfortable shoes. We stopped at the wickelow gap, kilkenny castle and glendaugh park. Loved it!!!!
Castle impresses with its medieval greatness and perfect appearance.
I liked it and I was imprsionat!
For anyone interested m: Worth Visiting!
One of the best tours I took - great value incredible destinations and great guide.
This tour was really interesting. We had plenty of time at stops to enjoy the venues. The guide, Richard, and the driver, Jack were great. They were professional, informative and entertaining at times. The tour bus was in excellent condition. I really liked that this company picked us all up at the various stops, in the bus and with the team that we would be with throughout the tour. Other companies do not do this and it wastes time and is not as professional.
We enjoyed this trip.Peter the guide was very friendly, cheerful and amusing and knew a lot about the history and told it in away that was not boring.
John the driver was also friendly and cheerful.
The downside for us was we book 4 tickets to go as a group but as we were on the last pick up point we all had to sit separate.
Loved trip and our guide. Beautiful and fun. Edinburgh and Scotland and Scottish people are fabulous! Of course. If I come over the pond again, I and #39;ll be in touch for more of your tours. God bless Scotland and the USA! Elizabeth (Anne) Moore

I took this tour because of Kilkenny City and I was not dissapointed. Beautiful city!! Glendalough is a historical place in beautiful nature but basically just a ruin. Not much to be seen except for the round tower. Wild Rover Tours did everything right taking just the right time at every stop. Guide Anthony and driver David were excellent.

It was a very enjoyable trip, with a knowlegeable and friendly guide, Yoan. The drive itself is quite pleasant and the stop in Kilkenny was wonderful. It was great to have a guided tour, walk around, have a leisurely lunch and enjoy the local environment. The drive through Wiklow mountain and the stop in Glendalough were interesting. Again, the guide made everything fun and pleasant, with interesting comments on history and life in the region. Overall, a fun trip that I would strongly recommend.
Yoan and Jack were pretty funny during the bus ride. Yoan knows a lot about the history of Ireland and is very knowledgeable. All in all, a fun worthwhile trip to take.
It was a wonderful tour! The exquisite Gronia kept us entertained all day with here knowledgeable and funny commentary. We would recommend this tour to everybody, it was a great day.
This was my first visit to Ireland. Friends recommended a visit to Glendalough, so I went looking for a tour. This trip on Viator, actually operated by Wild Rover Day Tours, had great reviews, so I booked it. I was NOT disappointed. Glendalough is spectacularly beautiful, rich in beauty and history. Kilkenny has a beautiful castle and some nice medieval buildings. Unfortunately, it wasn't clear when we arrived at the Wicklow Gap, but two out of three isn't bad! Grainne is a wonderful guide. Her knowledge of history and culture is quite extensive. I particularly appreciated her skill at storytelling. She helped make both Glendalough and Kilkenny come alive for me. It helped that we didn't have any rain during the walking tours! Hats off to John for professionally negotiating those amazingly narrow streets and lanes!
