Our guide, Eion, was a hoot! I'd go anywhere with him.
To visit Newgrange, you must be with a tour and have an appointment, so we reluctantly took a bus tour. Never thought it could be so fun and interesting. Newgrange was fabulous and I thought the schedule and plan they have set up is very well thought out.
While it was Newgrange that we wanted to see we'd recently read Frank Delaney's Ireland, the Hill of Tara was also very interesting.
Highly recommend this tour especially if Eion is the driver/guide. He's the modern day version of an Irish storyteller.

The Newgrange site is fascinating and impressive. I loved being able to enter the structure and imagine being part of the people who used it as a ceremonial site. Our tour guide on site was knowledgeable as was our guide on the bus. Our tour bus guide was funny and knowledge and even in pouring rain gamely took us on the Tara grounds. He was unstoppable. The lunch at Newgrange was very nice, as promised. Highly recommend this day trip.

Our tour guide Jerry was fun and informative. This is a shorter day trip from Dublin--full of history and a brief stop in Howth
was a favorite with my sisters. Beautiful countryside everywhere you look.

Have been to Newgrange three times - which I strongly recommend if you are in the Dublin area. This tour was the best.

This was an amazing tour. Jerry was our guide and he was fabulous. He was funny and really took the time to make the trip enjoyable. The tomb at Newgrange is absolutely stunning. It is worth a trip to see. The Hill of Tara was very interesting and had a very cool Fairy Tree we were able to go look at, as well as the Rock of Destiny. The weather was extremely windy, but still worth the time to see these amazing pieces of history. I would recommend that you not miss this site and going with this tour was well worth it.

This tour was amazing our driver Eion was awesome so much historical knowledge was shared. Newgrange dated over 3000 year BC was a wow experience and the Hill of Tara, the historical events just blow me away. It was great craic as the Irish would say!! Would highly recommend, this is a must see. Eion was a lot of fun and made our day a truly memorable one !!!

The best thing was our bus driver Eoin, who was hilarious and indefatigably informative. He really went the extra mile and certainly has the gift of the gab.
The Neolithic site of Newgrange was astonishing, and the Bronze Age remnants of Tara truly awe-inspiring.

The trip was very enjoyable. Trev and Kev were a dynamic travel duo. They told us tales - tall and true. The weather was beautiful and showed off the countryside in all its splendour. Newgrange was fascinating. I would highly recommend this tour.

This was the best tour of my week in Ireland- mostly because the guide, EOIN was amazing! He was passionate and knowledgeable about history, plants, animals, and he made all of it come alive for our tour. I would HIGHLY recommend any trip where he was your guide!!! He really made the day.

I recommend this trip. This goes back 5000 years of history. Fabulous. Our guide was fantastic. We had so much time. This is not a trip people take as much as cliffs of Mohr, but I think it is just as fascinating

This was our favorite tour during our 2 weeks in Ireland. Our guide, Jerry, was awesome. He was our only guide in four tours to actually make things interesting and answer questions. New Grange was sort of underwhelming, but still a cool sight to see. It is amazing to wonder how they built this so long before tools. Howth was such cute town. The Hill of Tara was breath taking with it's amazing views. The weather cooperated for the most part and we had a great day.

This day trip was outstanding. Our tour guide, Gerry, was absolutely phenomenal. He was informative, knowledgeable, and humorous. It really couldn't have been better. The bus driver navigated the trip beautifully. This was the perfect way to spend the day - Newgrange is a must see, and the Hill of Tara is one of the legendary sites in Ireland. Both places make history come alive. It was well worth the price even if it was higher. One of the best tours that I've ever experienced.

Trevor and Captain Darius made an excellent pair to guide us and drive us to Howth, Newgrange and Tara. All three places were very good but Newgrange was marvellous. Trevor arranged a special showing of the film about Newgrange for us at Bru na Boine and we learnt a lot about Ireland's early days. Very interesting and very enjoyable.
Thank you.
