This was a great experience. We had a private tasting/information session of about 2 hours with 16 others in a private bar. It was informative, fun and well worth the cost.

This was the highlight of our trip. We had a learning experience as well as fun learning how to make the perfect pour of Guinness draft. The host was provided us with much information about the beers brewed by Guinness, including the history and how they rated in total sales. The comparative tasting of each beer was educational. We were given a bottle of our favorite to take with us and our perfect pour draft. This experience was OUTSTANDING and it gave us the chance to seat in comfortable quiet surroundings rather than having to push and shove through the masses to reach the bar at the top of the Storehouse. If we return to Dublin, we would repeat this experience.

Best way to experience Guinness at the storehouse. We were in a private bar with only 15 people other people and had a dedicated guide that discussed the history of Guinness, poured tastings of Guinness not usually available and you learned to pour your own pint. It was great fun. If you book the last 2 tours, go a few hours early to tour the actual facility. otherwise, you are limited in time and the restaurants are closed afterwards.

Fantastic. Worth the money. The person doing the taste experience did an excellent job. He knew the product, could answer all questions, was a pro at what he did.

Great tour- had a wonderful time with this experience. Be prepared - you will drink a lot of beer and it will all be good. I would recommend this to anyone who likes beer, likes Guinness, or who just wants to hear about the history of the beer! Well worth the extra money to get to sit around a private bar with a small group and enjoy a more relaxed atmosphere.

We received this tour as a gift on our honeymoon and thought it was absolutely fabulous! We would highly recommend it to others! It is definitely worth it and we got to sample lots of Guinness and even take some home with us!

Loved it, the food was good, the people were great but the hotels did not have air conditioning.

If you enjoy beer - you HAVE to do the Connoisseur experience. The amount of beer you get to sample alone is worth the money, not to mention the great stories and information you learn during the experience. You get 5-6 samples of different Guinness beer each sample being a half-pint! plus free drink tickets and at the end you get to pour your own Guinness! I love beer and had a great time at this tour. I went with my friend who likes beer enough, but is not necessarily a beer-person, and she agreed that this was an amazing experience. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting more than just a 'basic' Guinness experience.

Much better than a self guided tour, the private tasting bar was a blast

Loved the tour. If you are interested in how Guinness is made you will love it. Our instructor was excellent. He truly loves his job. He was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable regarding the details of the Guinness brand.

I have never tasted Guinness before. I decided to go for it. This was so much fun! I did not take the basic tour so I have nothing to compare. But this was personal, behind the scenes, comprehensive and fun. I would highly recommend it!

I would recommend the Connoisseur experience to anyone who would prioritize the Guinness Storehouse as one of the locations they have to visit in Dublin. The experience was beyond my expectations and my face seemed to hurt from all the laughs and smiling while in the exclusive bar room. We received enough Guinness, history, and jokes to make the extra seem all too worth the price. Alan was our guide and he did a fantastic job at facilitating a warm welcoming atmosphere! 10/10

This was pricey, but one of the funnest things on the trip! I bought this tour for my husband and he loved the private bar experience. Darren, our bartender/guide was funny and knowledgeable about all things Guinness and gave great recommendations of places to go afterwards. We are now Certified in serving Guinness draught!

We had a great time with the connoisseur experience. Ian was our tour leader. He was very knowledgeable about the products. We were able to sample four Guinness beers and were taught how to pour the perfect pint of Guinness. Would highly recommend this experience!

This tour was a highlight of our trip! For beer lovers out there, the connoisseur experience is highly recommended. Make sure to set aside plenty of extra time to make your way through the rest of the storehouse. There and #39;s so much to see and do, you could easily take a half day to see it all.

One word to sum up this tour..Outstanding! When I booked the tour I had the choice between the general tour and the VIP, I opted for the Connoisseur and it was a good choice. we arrived at the Storehouse and were put into a entrance queue, I gave them our voucher and we were instructed to move to the side of the room. We were then escorted into a bar and grouped into about 16 others. About 10 minutes later our guide Darrin came over and took us to the private bar area. What a beautiful location, all dark wood, subdued lighting and a wonderful bar. Darrin then led us through the tasting and history of Guinness, what a treat to do this at a very leisurely pace. He then taught us how to pour a proper pint and then enjoy the fruits of our class. If you re going to book a tour to Guinness do the Connoisseur, you will not be disappointed.
