It was a relaxing day and a great experience. The weather was not the best and, unfortunately, it was not possible to drive to Guinness Lake. However, our guide and driver, John, made our day. He told us a lot of stories with specific Irish humor. First stop was at Sandycove Beach. Because of the rough sea and windy weather, the landscape had some its charm. The 6th-century monastic ruins at Glendalough are quite impressive. Nice to walk 20 minutes from the monastic ruins to the upper lake. The lunch was in a pub. A great opportunity to have also a pint of Guinness. Jameson whiskey tasting was also included in the tour. On the way back to Dublin we listened to some Irish music. Thanks John for the day. Fully recommend this tour.
My wife and I took this tour with John as the tour guide/bus driver. John was very knowledgeable but most of all he was a lot of fun and very entertaining. He showed us all the hot spots for pictures. We had a wonderful day.
It was a great day. And perfect for a one-day sightseeing trip. The driver was informative and even sang to us. I would recommend this outing to anyone coming to Dublin with limited travel time.
This tour was awesome! Our tour guide John made County Wicklow (and the other surrounding counties we passed through on the way to Glendalough) come to life with his wonderful story telling ability and knowledge of the area. He was amazing! The trip was beautiful and fun. Highly recommend it!

This tour was the highlight of my 3 day trip to Ireland. The driver John was so funny, friendly and kind and he made the whole day so special. The weather did not cooperate at first, but John rearranged the route so we could return and get a look at beautiful Glendeloch
We took the Wild Wicklow Tour with a group of 11 friends and everyone agreed the tour was the highlight of our stay in Dublin! Our guide John was fantastic, very knowledgeable and entertaining from start to finish and kept the coach laughing throughout the whole day. Great photo stops, tales of Dublin and insights into Irish sense of humour too. The lunch spot, a traditional Irish pub where we had a chance to try delicious Guinness stew, was also a top notch choice. You also get a shot of Jameson's Whiskey to add a nice finish to the day! I definitely recommend this tour for anyone looking for a great day out to see some stunning natural landscapes not too far from Dublin.
Amazing views of the country side of Ireland, just a few hours from Dublin. Highly recommend it and be ready for lots of pictures.
Tour of Wild Wicklow was amazing! Our guide, Joe, was friendly, knowledgeable and entertaining.
Great day trip! Our guide John had many entertaining and interesting stories, facts. The scenery was simply spectacular and we were lucky enough to have beautiful weather! John our diver was happy to take photos of all of us and I would recommend his tour for a trip out of the city.
This trip was absolutely spectacular! It has something for everyone - amazing sightseeing, history, delicious food and drinks, and a little bit of shopping. We were very lucky with the weather while we were there sunny and 7-8 degrees. We also had the best tour guide I could possibly imagine - John! When you are traveling with a group of 25 or more for 8 hours, a tour guide can make or break the trip and John absolutely made this trip. He made everyone on the bus laugh the entire day, knew every detail about the stops we made, jammed out to great Irish music and made sure to ask each and every one of us if we wanted a picture of ourselves at EVERY stop we made. This tour was great but John absolutely made our day! Would highly recommend this tour if you are looking for a well rounded day trip out of Dublin.
The Wicklow Mountains are not to be missed and this tour was wonderful!
The Tour was stunning and BEAUTIFUL!!! The tour guide was great, really friendly and knowledgeable, and silly enough to sing songs from everyone's home place. Loved this tour.
My husband and I went on this trip on Tuesday, 15 November 2016 to celebrate my 70th birthday, what a fabulous day it was from start to finish. Couldn't have asked for a better day out. However, the star of the show was Joe, the driver/guide. Endless interesting information, laughs all the way and a great safe and comfortable journey. We would do it again tomorrow so highly recommended. Thank you!
This tour was one of the best I've been on. The tour guide was amazing! so happy, singing and joking and laughing all the way. SO informative as well.... he had a story to tell about EVERYTHING and was very entertaining. I would ABSOLUTELY travel with this tour company again!
our guide was good and funny. you must love nature vastness. it tend to be colder due to the wind. take as many pics as you could. once you passed an area, there's no going back. though it would be better if we drive back again at the peak before heading back to Dublin.
Excellent tour - John was an amazing tour guide and offered very interesting stories about Wicklow and Ireland. There was adequate time at each stop to take photos. Highly recommend!
Only tip- confirm your pickup location the day before.
John the driver was fantastic driving, explaining, singing! Had great weather, nice views.
We were sooooooo lucky to have John as our driver and tour guide, what a firecracker. This was our last day and last tour and we left Ireland with smiles on our faces. It was a beautiful tour, well worth taking but especially with John. He was so much fun, professional and knowledgeable about the history and lore. He was also very gracious and took photos of us. We really enjoyed this trip.
This tour is a definite.... we had sooo much fun throughout the whole day. Our tour guide was fun, witty and was very informative about the places we visited. I highly recommend this tour to any one who is considering doing a day tour in Dublin
John was such an energetic and knowledgable tour guide. He kept the whole group really engaged and involved in the tour of the area. I highly recommend this tour, its a great break to get out of Dublin for the day and see the country!
Beautiful scenery. Our tour guide/driver, John was excellent and knowledgeable about Irish culture and history.
