After getting picked up at your hotel in an air-conditioned minivan, ride to Dubrovnik's UNESCO-protected Stari Grad. Stroll the white limestone-clad streets, as your expert local guide points out the main sites and regales you with intriguing historical facts and anecdotes. See the Sponza Palace. Learn about the interesting history of Onofrio's Fountain. Traverse the main square and enter the impressive main church of Dubrovnik, the Cathedral of the Assumption, reconstructed in 1713 after an earthquake had ravished it 46 years earlier.
