Really great tour with an entertaining and informative tour guide who spoke great English. Great views. Very cool to learn about the history of the city. Would definitely recommend!
Fantastic place, walking tour of the city walls very well presented
This was an awesome way to get introduced to the city. I wouldn't have wanted to walk the wall without a guide. Highly recommended at sunset.
Very entertaining and informative tour, Marko would be a fabulous actor too !!! He was very enthusiastic and made what was essentially a 2 hour history lesson, the most fun we could have had. The old town is beautiful and the views from the walls are spectacular.
Our guide Natasa Dwac was wonderful. She knew the history, the art, and the architecture. She also explained the current political affairs after being asked questions about it.

You could walk the 2km of walls in 30 minutes easily and some people do pay a lot of money to check that box, but a 2 hour tour fits in all the historical and political angles as well as providing great views around Dubrovnik.
This was one of the best tours we took during our trip. Our guide was very knowledgeable and gave us just the right amount of information about Dubrovnik's history to keep us engaged throughout. She also provided nice recommendations on some other local attractions to visit. We would certainly recommend this tour, especially to first-timers! Timing was perfect as well as we went in early October so it wasn't too hot and crowded.
Small group, excellent guide with fantastic local knowledge. The meeting point is only about a 10-15 min walk from the cruise ship quayside, so no need to get stung by a taxi like we did...
I'm always wary of tours, because sometimes it's just a person reciting info that I can find on Wikipedia. But this tour was worth the money. Not only was it informative, but our guide (I forgot her name -- she had a very unique name) was extremely knowledgeable, could answer every question we threw at her, and made sure we were all enjoying our tour... despite the extreme August sun. We gave her a very generous tip not only for her resourcefulness and for sharing her culture, but for spending 3 hours with us under the scorching sun!
This is a great tour to do of the Ancient City Walls. Not too long or too short just right! Our guide gave us lots of information along the way about Dubrovnik history. Lots of time to take pictures. Would reccomend to anyone.
This was a great tour, worth the money. It was good to hear some of the history of Dubrovnik as well as have places and features described. Makes the sights more meaningful. Our guide was lovely and even the bit of rain couldn't dampen our spirits. Loved it.
our tour guy Marko was amazing! great to always have a local tell walk you and tell the history through their eyes and experience. definitely recommend this tour, instead of just walking around the walls.
This tour was one of the highlights of our fifteen day trip through Europe. Our guide was Marko. As we walked the walls and learned about the history of the walls and the wars that affected the city of Dubrovnick through the centuries Marko made this history come alive through his commentary. He was more than a guide its' as if all of us in his tour group were part of a play where he Marko was the lead actor. In one word he was fantastic!!!.
For anyone visiting Dubrovnick taking this tour to experience the beauty of the city and its walls is a must!!.
The first thing I do when arriving to new city is take the walking tours. Helps to get orientated as well as learn the history. Guide was knowledgeable and fun.
We visited Dubrovnik and just had to walk the historical city walls. We purchased our tickets online and met Jelena's group just outside the city walls by the Sky Bar and she walked us into the walled city where we purchased our city wall tickets an additional HKr 150 each. We chose the 3:30pm tour to avoid the cruise ship crowds in the morning. After climbing many steps to begin the walk via the Pile Gate entrance Jelena assured us this was the most number of steps we would have to walk on the tour she continued to impart her historical knowledge. It was very interesting and the views are fabulous over the terracotta rooftops of the city. We would really recommend this walking tour and Jelena was great.
This tour of the wall around Dubrovnik is awesome. Native tour guide Marco was super friendly and informative on the history of the area! Totally recommend (lots of steps )!!! Jeanne

One of the best tours I have been on. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable and open to answering questions as we went through the tour.
Guide was very informative and a great way to see the old city. A great way to spend a morning in the old town
Very informative and enjoyable tour. Great tour guide. It took us longer to get to the meeting point than we anticipated and they helped us catch up to the tour which had already started. We appreciated their willingness to help us and personally deliver us to the group. The information that was shared and stories told were really interesting and we highly recommend this tour.
All you could ask for! This was the only guided tour we booked in Dubrovnik to learn about this ancient city and it was all we needed. As we walked around the entire length of the wall, we were taught about its recent war and battles that had occurred throughout history. The guide was captivating and really brought the stories to life. Highly recommended.
The walk was quite a workout even without the heat factor and it was a scorcher even at 3.30pm. There was a lot of climbing and over 800 steps and covered about 2km - I was wrecked. The guide gave a comprehensive explanation of Dubrovniks long history of wars, hostilities and invasions. The original walls were a wooden structure in the Middle Ages, but were replaced with the extensive stone fortifications dating back to 12-15th centuries. Today it is still intact, although there are some areas within the walls that lie in ruins due to earthquakes. The walk did a complete circuit and took around 2 hours with frequent stops and opportunities to buy water/refreshments to avoid heat exhaustion. Oh I forgot to mention the views..WOW. The coastline is truly stunning.

I initially thought €15 each to walk the walls was expensive, however this is a must. We spent 2.5 hrs walking round the walls taking in the wonderful views of the city, the sea and the mountain. Highly recommend
Great Tour! Very informative. Lots of stairs so be warned. But very great information with some amazing sights. I would highly recommend the evening tour when the sun is going down and it is not so hot out.
