A great day out away from the hustle and bustle of Dubrovnik. It was a good chance to get out to the countryside for a few miles of cycling with a picnic stop at a secluded lake, a really enjoyable experience and Karlo was a fab tour guide!
We had a great time on this tour. The route took us to places we wouldn't have seen otherwise and the bike ride itself was really fun and the right level of challenge. Karlo was an excellent tour guide - he took the time to get to know everyone in our group and helped us understand some of the history and different sides of life in Croatia. I would highly recommend this tour!
Karlo was a great guide. Tour was very interesting and fun. It was a small group and we got to see a parts of the area that one would normally not see.
Fantastic tour. Matt was very friendly and knowledgeable and made it very interesting and fun. I would highly recommend this trip and the team who helped make it happen, many thanks.
Amazing amazing tour!! We had so much fun with a solid 15km bike ride through all different terrain. The lunch was absolutely delicious, all homemade fresh ingredients. Be prepared to cross a small rocky stream.
I could not have asked for a better way to spend my day! My guide for the day was Karlo, and he was professional, attentive, and informative from the very beginning. Karlo went above and beyond to ensure the group of riders all got the best experience out of our bike ride. The sights were beautiful, and lunch by the river was a big plus in my book. The wine tasting portion of the tour was a tad rushed, in my opinion, but it was overall good.
Awesome tour and awesome tour guide he was funny and laid back! for people who really want to see the countryside and there is a lot of history and the wine was amazing! it was a good work out going up the small hills! Loved it! i recommend this tour!

A great chance to ride around the Croatian countryside and see some different sights, small villages and a fresh water spring. Our guides Mario and Dario were great, full of lots of stories, organised our lunch and helped some of us over the little stream with our bikes. I would thoroughly recommend.
My friend and I were apparently the only ones to sign up that day, so we had a personal tour guide. He was really good about adjusting the pace and path we took to our needs. I can't remember his name because it was a few months ago but he was funny and fun to spend the day with. The countryside was so beautiful and I highly recommend this tour.
The tour was fabulous. Good bikes, plenty of water and lunch provided. Dubrovnik country side was really pretty, the river was beautiful and refreshing to swim in and our guide Ivan was very friendly and provided a v interesting account of Croatian history. Would highly recommend.
The tour was a nice change from regular tours. It started off on wrong foot as Viator's directions for meeting point were outdated but with a little guidance, we found place. Carlo our guide was apologetic. He was very flexible in his schedule and showed us stops that were not originally part of tour. That speaks highly of his character. Lunch was good and filling but maybe should have more of a selection. The wine tasting at end was very good as well. Would recommend to anyone. It should be noted on website that pickups can be done from cruiseship port. Paul from Canada.
Really nice even though the wine tasting can be greatly improved. The wine presenter did not tell much about the wines nor the winery itself. the cykling is great, beautifully set in Konavle valley, and the guide Carlo was fantastic.
Cycle about 9 miles with frequent stops.
The river and the old mills were great.
Cycled through the vineyard and across the river.
Nice wine at the end
Biking in the country side of Dubrovnik is amazing. Beautiful sceneries, cool guide, passing through villages and stopping beside rivers for lunch break. All was very relaxing, funny and enjoyable. we ended up in a winery to taste three kinds of wine white, Rosé and Red. However, The winery experience itself was not that great going into a room and sitting around a table to taste quickly the wine and leave. I would have preferred to visit the site for a quick tour at least.
Bike ride was of a good length - mostly on sealed roads and a little bit of off road. The guides were very nice and spoke good English. Going up some of the inclines did require a bit of effort on a couple of occasions. Good lunch + pit stop at the river. Glad we did it :-)
A good day, knowledgeable and friendly guide. The wine tasting wasn't very exciting, would have been better if there had been some more interaction. Worthwhile, though
The bike and wine tour was a great succes! We were lucky enough to have our guide Karlo all to ourselves, which made the trip extra fun. The route was breathtakingly beautiful, especially the offroad parts that Karlo took us on. The wine tasting, however, was quite meager. The manager seemed eager to see us leave because his shift was done, and he didn't tell much about the 3 wines we got to taste. Thanks to Karlo, we has a great day! A piece of advice for Viator would be to adjust the directions to the departure point: this is no longer located below the Pile gate, but a 10 minute walk outside of the old town.
This tour is very enjoyable in a lovely area at the far reaches of Croatia. This tour does however attract sporty people so make sure you have some level of fitness before going as I was quite embarassed at the back the entire way and missed a lot of the talking about things. But its well run.
We very much enjoyed the Bike tour. I think some in our group would have preferred less stopping and talking and more riding. Our guide was very nice and knowledgeable and considerate of the different levels of capability of the riders. We could have done without the wine tasting at the tend though as the wine wasn't really too good. Overall fun, just let them know your expectations as far as the ride.
Not quite what we were expecting. If you are a biking enthusiast, might not be for you as we stopped often, about every 250 yards. The river was gorgeous but it is hard to push a mountain bike up hills on road surface and the rocky road was difficult, a bit more strenuous than we anticipated.
Beautiful ride, tour guides a little rough around the edges, but OK. Part of the ride over very rocky terrain, some people had difficulty with it. Instead of enjoying the scenery you were trying not to hit hole in the road.
It was a really nice change of scenery, slightly marred by bad weather in the early part but we made the best of it. Our guide was fantastic, I'm sorry I forget his name, but he went above and beyond, even carrying our bikes across a swift moving river for us. If you are looking for an even slightly challenging bike ride, this is not really it, but for an easy cruise through the countryside, it's perfect. The wine tasting was fine, rather short, only somewhat informative.
It seemed as though the tour organizers were attempting to make up a tour out of very little. It was ok up to the little authentic restaurant 10 minutes? where I thought we should have had an opportunity to sample the traditional method of cooking food in the unique creekside restaurant. Instead we moved on to the a location where the impact of the war was evident. That was an interesting discussion. From that point on we were off onto a very rocky, bumpy, unpleasant, no scenery dry, dusty 'field' This was after one our group members unfortunately fell and injured herself. Then we took our runners off to maneuver ourselves and bikes across a shallow creek. No mention of that in the itinerary. So bare feet on a creek bed with a bike in tow is not great. We lunched on a loaf of bread with a little bit of filling inside. We then were offered dental floss to clean our teeth the guide proceed to floss his couldn't believe it. Continuing on through more rocky, dusty path through a dry field towards a 'winery'. It was not worth spending a precious day on shore in Dubrovnik to do this tour. Stay away until they figure out a much better itinerary.
