What You Can Expect

Dubrovnik Island-Hopping Cruise in the Elaphites Including Lunch

The beautiful Elaphite Islands

Get picked up at your hotel in central Dubrovnik, hop in the cozy air-conditioned vehicle and head to Gruž, the section of Dubrovnik where the new port is located. Meet your professional skipper and crew, and then board the sailboat for your day cruising around the sun-kissed Elaphite Islands. Grab a seat inside or on the deck and don’t be shy about helping yourself to a soft drink or a glass of locally made wine, as the boat begins to sail out of the harbor.

Your first stop is Koločep Island, where pine forests meet citrus gardens and the Adriatic Sea. Hop off the boat to explore the island on your own and be sure not to miss the late-medieval churches and the 600-year-old manor houses.

Return to the sailboat and ship off again until you reach the Island of Šipan, where there are more 15th-century and houses to discover. Take a walk around the verdant island, the biggest in the Elaphite archipelago.

About an hour later, head back to the boat and set sail once again, this time for Lopud. Enjoy lunch on the boat as you cut through the dazzling Adriatic waters. On the menu: fish, chicken or veggie fare.

Once in Lopud, dock Šunj beach where you can lounge on the shore for a while or go for a swim in the revitalizing waters. Take a stroll around Lopud Town to get a glimpse of island life before returning back to Dubrovnik. The tour’s conclusion is being dropped off at your hotel after a relaxing day of island hopping.

3 islands, Koločep, Lopud and, Šipan all with subtle differences. Packed in like sardines, it was a very social activity even as a solo traveller as the seating directions make for conversation. The meals were very good, choice of fish, meat, chicken or vegetarian all barbecued up and delivered to the boat for consumption. Free drinks of water, lemonade, red wine and white wine helped loosen tongues and made for a very enjoyable day on the water.

We loved Lupod which was the first island we stopped at. We took a 10 golf cart ride to the beach side of the island and found a fantastic sandy beach , no waves and warm water. Two beachfront restaurants served food and drinks with one restaurant offering 2 for 1 drinks . .Plenty of time to relax and enjoy this great large cove.
Lunch -fish was tasty .We had a fun group which made sure the wine was flowing freely. The other two islands were small and unremarkable with some shops and restaurants.

FUN day and would recommend it to get a flavor of the other islands that aren't as popular. There is little to do on these islands but being able to see and be transported to another island that is less touristy was nice.

An excellent, very organised tour. The captain gives you a warm welcome and when you arrive at each island, he gives you a brief summary of what you can do there. The supplied lunch was amazing-top restaurant quality!

What a fantastic way to sample a few of the islands. I thought the day was very enjoyable, the locations were great, the food on board was nice, the wine wasn't great, but what you would expect when having to cater for a lot of people. I think its well worth the trip.
