Great tour with Goran

We had a great tour last night led by Goran, a Dubrovnik local. We had some great food and discussion with Goran and the 6 other people on the tour. It was especially interesting to hear Goran’s memories of the war as a small boy. Accommodations were made for one is our group who was vegetarian, but the food is fish and seafood focused.

I would try to do this on your first evening in the city to get a good lay of the land. Goran was wonderful. He was fun and knowlegeable. He also knew how to "read the room" and make adjustment based on our likes and dislikes. I would definately make this a must do in Dubrovnik.

Nice walking tour with a meal

If your looking to share a stretched out dinner experience while walking the beautiful streets of the old town then this is the tour for you. My family enjoyed the experience very much but I guess we thought we were getting a taste of Dubrovnik by stopping at many spots featuring well known Croatian delicacies verse random restaurants just serving us a appetizer, then another with a main meal. So was disappointed with that aspect and would say it was then expensive for what you received in food. However the food was delicious- just not what we expected. Our guide was very kind and gave us a locals perspective walking tour. Enjoyed his company.

This was such a lovely food tour. Our guide Goran, is a local and he was full of insights to the city. He truly made the experience special for us. The food was also really good and the menu seemed well thought out.

What a fun evening! This was a fabulous way to sample local restaurants, discover hidden gems including history and culture of Dubrovnik. Absolute highlight of a trip with a LOT of highlights. Gorush (spelling?) was over the top good. We went to different restaurants, wine tasting, olive oil tasting, gelato tasting. It was an amazing evening.

My friends and I booked this tour as first time visitors to Dubrovnik. Our guide, Ana, was exceptional, very friendly and knowledgeable about the city and the local Croatian cuisine. We felt relaxed in her company. She was able to answer our questions and point out the historic features of the city on our tour. I would highly recommend this tour to food lovers and novices alike. You would gain not only new culinary insight but also a feel for the culture and beautiful historic city.

Wow, what a wonderful evening! Ana greeted us and gave us a lovely stroll through town. Sharing amazing small bites at several restaurants and stories about the owners and history of the different types of food. Afterwards a couple of stories of off the beaten path were shared too. A delightful evening and experience!!

Fantastic food and drinks. Our tour guide was delightful. She was knowledgeable in wine. We tasted wines along the way. The food was delicious. The really enjoyed the wine inside of cave. I was traveling solo and this was one of the only food tours that didn’t charge me for 2 people.

Post-pandemic tour not quite up to snuff

The tour must have suffered from the post-pandemic blues. Only one restaurant was visited, which was disappointing as 6 of us shared 6 tapas. All wonderful, but not filling. Wine also was a bit scarce as one small glass had to be asked to be re-filled - once. Marina was an enthusiastic tour guide, but if I didn't stand right next to her I didn't understand anything she was saying. Visited a wine shop, which was fun, but 2 very small samples. Visited a curio shop and then a pastry shop, which had to reopen for us, but was well worth the wait - it was wonderful. All in all, very overpriced for the quality of the tour.

Thank you for your time to leave a review. It heavily rained in Dubrovnik on the day of the tour. Most of the restaurants closed due to the storm. Our guide stressed that one location will be closed. Some of the guests could not switch for the next day so we decided to go with the tour. Regards
