Totally enjoyable experience. We had a great driver who was very willing to share his knowledge of Scottish history. Thanks Barney! We had a good number of stops each day. The Isle of Skye was amazing as was the scenery on the way. Totally recommend Rabbies tours.
Excellent in every way. Would recommend highly. Heard a Scot's view of the history of Scotland v England. That was interesting if not a tad unbalanced, but to be expected.. Heard a lot about whisky.
Views were absolutely 100 stunning. Lots os stopping places.
The tour was amazing! The Isle of Skye had dramatic landscape and was breathtakingly beautiful. Our Scottish guide Uven ( think that and #39;s how its spelt) was awesome and he helped us take beautiful photos at the most appropriate places. He possessed a wealth of knowledge abt Scottish history and music!
Trip to Isle of Skye was amazing in a small coach bus with a wonderful guide/driver Liam. He pointed out all the historic, scenic spots and stopped where he thought we would get great pictures. He made the trip worthwhile, even in early November. Liam is a history buff and it showed. We learned so much from him about the history of the area, Edinburgh and Scotland. Recommend highly Rabbie's Tour Company.
This was a great choice. Our tour guide was Audrey and she was fabulous. She made the trip so enjoyable with her stories and her wonderful sense of humor. The scenery was breathtaking, We would highly recommend this tour. Doing it on your own does not give you all of the little secrets that Audrey pointed out...the fables and folklore.
Our tour guide was Ewen and he made our trip so memorable. He did such a great job and worked so hard putting together a tour within his van! We can say enough about this man who was so knowledgable and filled with history, economics, folklore and delivered so many great moments listening to him and his music while on the beautiful van with about 16 persons. Our trip was amazing and the places he scheduled were beyond some of the most fantastic scenery we have ever seen. Thanks Viator and Rabbi Tours for this great vacation.

If you are staying in Edinburgh for any length of time, you MUST consider taking this tour! Mack was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, kind and pleasant. As an historian, I tend to brace myself for bad or overly simplistic history, but I was so pleasantly surprised! Mack weaves together fact, myth and legend to create a truly exceptional experience that leaves tour-takers informed about Scottish history and able to discern fact from fiction, while appreciating the latter. We saw beautiful locations, trekked up massive hills and worked out our mountaineering skills under Mack's careful guidance in order to get see the most breathtaking views! The B and B organised by the tour company was clean, comfortable and the breakfast was delicious! Mack's music playlist was spot on and he is a master of timing - all stories and musical interludes synced up perfectly with what we were seeing from the comfort of the mini coach. One second you're listening to excellent Scottish folk music, the next Mack starts a story out of nowhere - just when you begin to wonder why that tale at this time the coach turns a corner and the castle/topographical feature/monument at the heart of the story appears before your eyes.
The tour is fast-paced and can be a tiny bit physically demanding. Wear sturdy shoes with good grips, wear layers and prepare for the elements - it is absolutely worth it! If you are not one to be confined to the vehicle for long periods, no worries - Mack had us off the bus at comfort stops or great photo opportunities at least every 90 minutes.
The trip was conducted by Rabies Tour. It was the best group tour i had in my time in Scotland. Our driver guide, Nick was simply amazing! This young chap knows his stories, his landmarks and was very engaging throughout the trip. He was a very safe driver too.
We visited many places at Skye, namely Niest point, Glenn Fairy, The Quiraing mountains and many more sights. It was simply beautiful beyond words. Just dress right for the weather. Umbrellas are not that useful at skye. A windbreaker with your snow caps and waterproof clothing are definitely more useful. It will keep u dry and warm.
I stayed 2 nights at the Feochan B and B at Portree which was arranged by the tour. The hosts were very accomodating. The house was very modern and seemed newly renovated, with fresh and clean linen to sleep on.
I enjoyed the tour very much. 3 days was just too short on Skye.
OMG I got to see the sites of Outlander. Castles, stones, and Falkland where the story started besides other sites in Scotland. Would absolutely recommend and would do again. Our driver Andrew was excellent telling us stories, playing Scottish music, telling jokes and giving us great historical information. Andrew your a doll!!!! And Skye is one of the most beautiful places in the world. Nothing beats the Highlands---so clean, fresh, and wonderful people. Stayed at a wonderful B and B---owners were accommodating, room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was fantastic.
we had an amazing time on this tour, my fiance just can't stop talking about it, our tour guide alone made the trip magnificent, we would do this again in a heart beat! i would rank this as one of my best trips and believe me i have been on a few.
Great tour with Jude - just sorry we did get lots of rain on day we visited Neist Point!! Definately bring rain SUIT for those days but getting it on and off with small comfy bus could be tricky. Wonderful tales and photo stops.
This trip was the highlight of our 3 weeks in the UK. Our tour guide, Nick was amazing and made our trip so interesting and fun. He started by asking what each of us hoped to see and then customized the trip to make sure our wishes were met. The bed and breakfast we stayed in was amazing -so welcoming and comfortable. Do not miss this opportunity to see the most beautiful area of Scotland! Our day at the Fairy Pools, the picnic on the shore and the Fairy Glen visit were highlights. We would go again if we ever return.
There aren't enough stars for this tour! James, our tour guide was informed, helpful, and a delight to tour with. A million stars just for James!! He kept the tour interesting with fun stories, anecdotes and a great playlist. I enjoyed the loose, easygoing nature of the trip - decisions for stops were often made just in time to turn off the road! For those who've been on big tours with strict, nearly impossible time-tables understand the frustration of feeling pressed for time and often a bit restricted in movement. This tour was totally different. James would often make a stop just because he knew how much we liked cows, or waterfalls, or whisky! The tour was a wonder at every turn with not a moment of boredom. We had tons of photo stops, plenty of bathroom breaks and good food everywhere we went. Viator booked us into a very sweet B and B, where we were well looked after. Very Highly recommended indeed!
I CANNOT GIVE THIS TOUR ENOUGH STARS! Nicky, our tour guide was THE BEST! Honestly, you can't go to the Highlands and up to Skye without him. He knows all the facts, tells really awesome stories that keep you interested and awake, even when you're exhausted from jetlag, and knows all the good stops to stop and take in the views.
The itinerary was perfect, day 1's drive up to the Highlands was beautiful, full of picture perfect stops. Day 2 on the Isle of Skye was my absolute favorite day on our whole entire 2 week trip. We saw sights that I wish I could describe, from Neist Point to the Faerie Glen to Kilt Rock, it was all incredibly memorable. When we went in early September, everything was so beautifully green--I'm not sure if it's like that all year round, but it was the perfect time to go. I think we also got incredibly lucky because we got no rain on any of our stops, but I do think it's unlikely to get no rain. Day 3, was a more relaxed day, as the itinerary was less packed as we made our way back to Edinburgh, but it was still incredibly enjoyable. Do yourself a favor and TAKE THIS TOUR!
We both really enjoyed our, three day tour, Grant was our driver and tour guide, he was fantastic.
He was really proud of his Scottish heritage and had a really great knowledge of Scotland's past history.
The best part of the tour was when Grant took us out to the other side of Skye, beautiful day and great scenery.
Grant would be the best tour guide we have ever had, and we have done dozens of tours around the world.
Say hello to Grant for us!
Amazing and beautiful tour! Our guide was Gail and she was the best! Excellent story teller, singer, and always had interesting information about each of the sites we visited, I believe she said she was a history major, so she knows her stuff! I would recommend this tour to anyone looking for a worthwhile visit to Skye. Our accommodations at the Caledonian B and B were comfy, our hosts were lovely, and the include breakfast was delicious! The mini bus was super comfortable with huge windows so we had amazing views of the beautiful countryside. Each location, from lochs to castles, were all fantastic, beautiful scenery, friendly people, and loads of places for pictures!
Initially we were not happy because we were instructed by the female staff member at the cafe to go the the last bus. My husband has a knee problem and we walked all the way to the last bus only to be told go go to the second bus. This information was again wrong and I found myself asking for Stewart until we finally found the correct bus.
Once on the bus we found Stewart to be a delight, he is a credit to your company. His personality is just perfect for the job he does. His knowledge of Scottish history was amazing and so was his local knowledge of the areas we visited. Stewart is a passionate Scotsman who obviously loves his country and his job........Thank you Stewart for making our holiday the best it could have been
We had a great time on our tour! Nick, our guide, was perfectly delightful, entertaining and very knowledgeable. He's also a fabulous storyteller. The tour itself is packed full of so many sights and scenery and we were able to see parts of the highlands and Skye that would have been unknown to us otherwise. It was highly organized and just when you think you need a break, one is right around the corner. We highly recommend the tour and will gladly book again with Rabbies and Nick!

This tour is awesome. Dave, our driver/guide, has a great personality, good knowledge of the history of Scotland, and tells very entertaining stories. It's great to go with a small group. Be forewarned that this is a trip for people who are comfortable with walking. We highly recommend this tour.
I rarely write reviews but this outstanding trip warrants special note. The itinerary, pricing, bus, accommodations, and driver were terrific. The Rabbies' driver Dave was entertaining the entire trip. The flexible schedule and phenomenal scenery allowed us to see so much. I would give it six stars if I could.
Our guide Audrey was an excellent story teller and very helpful
Sky Nature is beautiful
Amazing trip and Nicky was the perfect guide. We loved every minute of it and will definitely come back!
The tour has been great!! Definitively worth doing it, our guides Gill and Pete have been so professional, cheerful and experienced that they only added positivity to the gorgeous Scottish landscape.
We have also been very lucky with the weather, and the sunny island of Skye is something I'll never forget.
I really hope to go back soon.
