Richard Usher was outstanding. We learned valuable insights into the history of Edinburgh's Old Town, Edinburgh Castle, and Literary giants from this bonny Scottish city. A fantastic, entertaining, not too long or physically demanding, tour.

Probably the best tour I have ever been to. Our guide was Richard, who has deep family ties and affection for Edinburgh. The time past so quickly and I learned a lot about the city and its history.

My apologies for being so slow in writing this review. If you have a few hours to take a walking tour in Edinburgh, this is the MUST-DO tour. My husband, sister and I enjoyed walking the fishbone on this tour and we thoroughly enjoyed our rest stop at the tea shop! Stuart made the history of the city come alive with his storytelling, and it is obvious he loves his hometown. Five stars!

Our tour with Richard Usher was the highlight of our visit to Edinburgh. He was an amazing historian, story teller, and wealth of knowledge of his hometown. We were mesmerized by the tales he weaved as we traveled throughout the gorgeous Edinburgh. Our party ranged in age from 15 to 65 and he was fun, interactive and informative to all. I would not miss the opportunity to meet this wonderful Father/Son family and learn firsthand about the famous and infamous history of the city. We will remember his stories for years to come! We are so well informed on Edinburgh that we are able to share much of its history to others, just by what Richard taught us. Highly recommended.

Stuart was an amazing guide for our walk through Edinburgh. He was dressed quite sharp and took us on a 3 hour adventure of the sites and history of this beautiful old city. He was extremely knowledgeable of the history and people of Edinburgh and kept us interested by asking us many questions about the famous people who lived there. Our favorite stories of his were about Georgie Porgie and William Brodie, the real Dr. Jeckle and Mr. Hyde. I would highly recommend Stuart to anyone who wants to learn about the sites and history of Edinburgh and enjoy the company of a wonderful Scottish gentleman on his walking tour.

Knowledgeable guide who helped us get our bearings when first arriving in Edinburgh. Highlighted sites that we would not otherwise have seen. Historical stories were so interesting and kept us moving through the cold, rainy afternoon. Introduced us to the warmth and hardiness of the Scottish spirit.
