Definitely worth it! Driving through the scenic area and getting historical information from our driver Stephan was great. Every destination was unique and amazing in its own way.

Our driver Robby was very interesting and knew a lot of the Scottish history making it very enjoyable. A wonderful sense of humour. The scenery was very diverse and also saw the first dusting of snow on the munroes. The autumn colours are beautiful.

This tour was great as well. Faergus was our guide. Not only was he he full of interesting information, the love for his country and the telling of the stories was wonderful. There was a local young woman on the trip, so I think thats saying a lot about the tour company Rabbies. I saw her another day but she was going on a different tour than I was.

This was a great tour to visit some of the beautiful places in the lower end of the Highlands. Although the stops were not long we got to stop in many spots and walk around on our own. Our tour guide was David and he was great at telling us a bit of Scotland's history in between our stops. The Dewar's Aberfeldy Whisky distillery was a highlight for us. It was very informative and our tour guide Richard was awesome! This is not included in the price of the tour but they do offer a discount for groups, so it's cheaper that if you were to go on your own. Overall, we had a great time!

This tour is wonderful, especially for someone who doesn't have much time in Scotland. You drive through parts of Edinburgh to the beautiful Highlands, and have a great whiskey tour. Eric and Feargal were fantastic guides. They were animated and provided useful information throughout the tour!

Had a brilliant time with my boyfriend! Our tour guide was McKenzie and he was great, really funny and told us all about the local history of where we were passing. As well as doing a bit of singing and playing the bag pipes too

Jim was our guide for this lovely tour. He kept us entertained the whole trip and did such a great job. If you only have a short time in Scotland, this is a good tour to take to get the flavor of the highlands. We will come back and want to go further north next time. The walks thru the forests were so beautiful. Please note, if you are taking this trip wear hiking shoes! There are some paths that you have to go up and some stairs, but not too much. The Dewar's tour in Aberfeldy was terrific and if you don't like whiskey its ok. The distillery also has food and other drinks on site. But, if you like whiskey then pay extra for a sample out of the cask! It's so worth it for the experience of tasting whiskey this way. Plus, you get a glass to take home.

I totally loved this tour! We went with Rabbie's Trail Burners Ltd and Neil was our driver.
Neil was fabulous as he was informative and personable. He gave us fabulous information and history as we drove through the Highlands. Stopped at a quaint town for lunch - Pitlochry, Drove around Loch tay and visited a distillery. The ride was comfortable and we were able to see easily outside the windows. We even listened to some local music and heard the difference with Gaelic music.
This tour, confirmed that I want to come back!!

Beautiful tour and the tour guide was amazing. He wove together information about the spreading of mythologies, music, and languages, the weather patterns, ocean currents, and geological fault lines, with an incredible knowledge of the history and beauty of the area.

Eric and Dave were awesome. They shared just enough history in the van and paired it nicely with the appropriate amount of quiet time. They were both entertaining and made the time go by fast. As far as the stops go, they were beautiful. From the small towns to the waterfalls. Stunning. I'd highly recommend this tour!

I'm guessing half the experience is about the itinerary and the other half is dependent on the tour guide. Ours was fantastic. Grant was extremely entertaining, knowledgeable, accommodating and enthusiastic I think it would be hard not to have a wonderful time with him at the helm. We booked the tour at the last minute as kind of an afterthought, in August 2016, and we were so happy we had the opportunity to do it. We got to see beautiful forests, rivers, peaty ponds and lochs, historic viewpoints, and even Birnam Woods! We are more theater geeks than drinkers, so the tour of the distillery was kind of an interesting bonus than the reason for doing this tour, but it was fascinating to see the distillation process and fun to think of Alan Cumming getting his start in this little town. We appreciated the small group size, which gave us the opportunity to move around more nimbly and also converse with Grant from time to time and learn even more. So much of what you remember from a trip depends on the people you encounter, and we came away smitten with Scotland, in large part thanks to Grant. Thanks for a great tour!

This is a great tour, showcasing the wonders and uniqueness of Scotland. I never knew the Highlands were so beautiful until we saw them in all their glory. The Whisky tour was fantastic and I had the pleasure of sampling the best whisky I ever had there. I thoroughly recommend paying for the higher priced ticket only a few pounds more than the regular ticket to try the whisky from the dram.

Jodi was the best and does a great job! She is very knowledgable on the salient points of Scottish history! Jodi is a great story teller and managed to keep us laughing. The Dewars Distillery tour was very educational and has helped to up my game as a Whiskey afficianado. Of course the Scottish Highlands scenery is brilliant. Only wish I had more time.

The tour was great!! It was not until the day after, when we visited the Castle and other attractions, that we realised how much of the Scottish history we were told during this trip. Jude was our guide and she was great. Good stories, not too long, not too short, very entertaining and informative. Our recommendations!

Ewan and #39;s dialogue was both entertaining and educational as we made our way to and from the Highlands. The sights were spectacular and the visit to the distillery was an informative and tasty conclusion to the tour. Our Scotland stay was made more complete by our participation in the tour. Thanks Ewan D

A wonderful. highlighted by a great tour of Aberfeldy distillery. They distill the heart whisky of Dewar's White label, and also spirits under their own name. Two options are available, 6 or 13.50. The very educational distillery tour about an hour is the same for everyone. And for 6 you can sample one of three of their 12-year-old products. But for 13.50, they add in a sample right from a cask - in our case a 27-year-old single malt. And you get to keep the glass. A real bargain, except I'm spoiled now, and my whisky budget is going to have to change. Especially sine my wife liked it too. Lastly, I have to mention the guide, Jude. She was fantastic. I couldn't believe she'd only been doing the job for a month or so. A natural story-teller, as I suspect all Scots are.
