I selected this trip on direct recommendation from a friend who is more world-traveled than I will ever be. It was a perfect way to wrap up my visit to Edinburgh and Scotland. Bring your hiking boots for the short walk up to Wallace Monument and later along the river. Prepare to take lots of photos. Ask for Sandy, an absolutely fabulous tour guide. Great mix of Scottish history lessons and music to pass the time between stops.

I was not able to take this tour because I had a dizzy spell and fell down and injured myself the day before this tour. I thought it best to take care for a day or two.

We had a delightfully upbeat Scottish lass As our driver/tour guide for this trip who made the mostly driving tour a fun one. If I recall, she had a unique education for being a tour guide. Could answer any question and was full of fun, interesting facts that gave us a good picture of what the Scottish Highlands is all about. Having just come from the Ireland portion of our holiday, the comparison of geographies was particularly noteworthy.
