Our guide Ally was very informational! He used music, maps and facts to inform us throughout the trip. If Ally is your guide, pick up food at the first stop because you are limited with your time at Loch Ness and you don't want to spend time finding a place to eat. All of the places we saw were sit down, expensive meals. The only thing I would ask Ally to change is to not point at the map with his middle finger which he did all day. Can be slightly offensive and make you uncomfortable.
Great trip. The scenery was breathtaking, and Paul was an extraordinary guide. He has an incredible knowledge of Scottish history and a wonderful way of relating the Scottish past to the present. He also played an interesting selection of Scottish music during the breaks between his explanation of certain sites or historical events. I would have liked more time for lunch at Loch Ness--there was no place to sit and it was raining. All seemed rather rushed. Other than that, the trip was well plotted in terms of stops.
Saw a lot of places and lots of stories and history!!! Very organized and had lots of short breaks to stretch
excellent tour guy, knowledgeable about the area and the entire country. kept us spellbound the entire trip
Amazing, amazing trip and it is all thanks to Ally, our tour guide from Rabbies company! Highly recommend the small group tour, about 15 people in a comfortable mini-bus, the driver is also your guide. When calling the company to confirm ask to be out in Ally's group. He is one of the most interesting and entertaining people I've met! Historic facts, music, geography, you name it and Ally knows it. Love how he played music from the movies that were filmed along our route and music from Scottish musicians. He is walking encyclopedia, entertainer, stand up comedian, historian. The sights we saw were breath taking, despite the drizzle and fog making it all more authentic!. I learned so much from Ally, thank you, friend!
Clearly the highlight of Scotland tour! Stunning places to visit and the tour guide Ally was the best ever we came across. He was exceptionally good and wowed us with his superb knowledge of the places and history of Scotland. He was sensational, witty, humorous and captured our attention throughout the tour.
My tour guides name was James. He was an absolutely fantastic tour guide, with great knowledge and a wonderful sense of humour. The trip was nice and small, with only 16 people on the tour. The locations we went to offered a wonderful insight into the regional areas of Scotland. What a wonderful tour - a highlight of my time in Scotland!
Just the right number of participants in a lovely, clean and spacious vehicle. Showed us beautiful sights, enough to want us to come back to Scotland and travel around some more! The tour guide If I remember Richard was exceptionally knowledgeable.
A very scenic tour with a fabulous and knowledgeable guide. Definitely worth seeing, especially the lovely Highlands!
Wonderful trip and great to combine the visit in Edinburgh with a day in the Highlands. The guide Nicky was very good and it was great to go in a small group
Enjoyed the tour. Tour guide, Gillian, was amazing - kits of energy, knowledge, good sense of humor and good driver.
I went on five day tours on this particular vacation; this tour was my favorite one. Relaxing, fascinating, exciting. You get to see so much in one day and this tour company did a great job (Rabbies is the name, I believe). Richard was our driver -- he was fabulous. Cheers, Richard!
Ce tour était très très bien. Sandy, le chauffeur et guide, malgré la barrière de la langue, a fait son max pour rendre notre tour agréable et intéressant. A faire absolument.
Fantastic! Our driver,Ally, was very friendly. We were a bus full of strangers from 7 , I think, different countries. Ally did a good job of getting us to speak up. He asked questions of each person by name thereby engaging everyone. He was a continuous history lesson too. I will definitely take a Riddles tour again.
Absolutely amazing. Breathtaking scenery of the Scottish highlands . Highly recommended. Rabies tours was excellent with their service.
It was fantastic! You get to see a really big piece os Scotland in just one day. There is enough time to enjoy the beautiful views and take pictures outside the bus. Loch Ness is a great experience, Glencoe is beautiful and we also get to see Doune Castle Game of Thrones, Outlander, Monty Python. Our great busdriver Richard told us a lot about the history of Scotland and knew a lot about everything! It was a truly fantastic experience
I would highly recommend taking a trip with Rabbies! Our tour guide Ewan B was hands down the best tour guide we've ever had on a trip. He was extremely knowledgeable and interacted by telling us historical stories the entire trip. Glencoe was by far a favorite stop of ours, and this trip is a great way to see everything you want to in a day.
Eric, our tour guide, was fabulous--great stories, Scottish music, good suggestions for lunch, and of course the wonderful scenery. My niece and I enjoyed the entire trip. I would highly recommend it to any visitor who wants a one day trip for the Highlands and Loch Ness!
I chose this tour based on previous outstanding reviews and it lived up to the expectations. We had Ewan B as our driver. He was funny and very informative. It did not seem like we were driving as long as we did because he was such a good story teller and the scenery was amazing! I was able to take great photos out the window as we were driving. We got some extra stops in that other drivers on the same route did not make including a quick stop to see a highland cow! I would take recommend Rabbie's tours to anyone!
