While I wasn't able to visit all the places I thought I could on this pass, it was very useful.

Before purchasing this make sure you'll be in an area where you can put it to good use. I'd recommend it, even though it wasn't useful to me in Inverness. If I'd been in Glasgow or Edinburgh there would have been many more places accessible to me to see and things to do.

BE ADVISED. This is not the same as the Historic Scotland Pass, which is what I thought I was purchasing. My error. We able to use it at Culloden Battlefield. But didn't realize my error until I tried to use it at Edinburgh Castle.

This would be a good deal if you know you can get to all these places within the time allocated. We didn't so ended up paying more for the pass than entry fees. Needs to cover a longer time period or you need to look at the included locations and THEN plan your itinerary around it, otherwise you won't get your moneys worth. Disappointing. The Explorer pass is better value in my opinion.
