Rosslyn Chapel was beautiful! The carvings were inside were so impressive. Visiting Hardian's Wall was mind boggling to think that the Roman built it. We felt that our tour guide was very informative! We enjoyed having time on our own to explore the different sites we never felt rushed. It was perfect for us! Thank you!

Hadrian's Wall was the highlight of this tour for us, but we also appreciated our time at both Rosslyn Chapel and Melrose Abbey not to mention some free time in Melrose where we chose to visit the Melrose Rugby Heritage Centre, home of Rugby Sevens, founded in Melrose in 1883!

Our tour guide from Sterling was the best we have had in our many travels around the globe. From the start, his expertise in handling unexpected problems was clear when he ably helped two people already on the bus realize that they were on the wrong tour and needed to get off the bus so that two others could properly board. Although this took some time, the situation remained positive for all. This was not easy.

As for his role as guide, his historical knowledge and delivery were brilliant throughout the day. His pacing, his driving, his stories and anecdotes were perfect. He also was able to stop talking occasionally so we could just look out the window and enjoy this beautiful countryside. Do you get the idea that he made this tour for us?

Many thanks to all at Viator, Heart of Scotland Tours, the Wee Red Bus, and especially our tour guide.

In spite of a RAINY day I truly enjoyed the tour. It is a well planned trip that packs in a full day of site seeing with a knowledgeable and fun guide to add color along the way. I heartily recommend this trip.

We had a wonderful time! Although it rained all day long but, hei you are in Scotland, so no one to blame for the rain :... we had a great trip.
We had two guides with us, Paul and James highly educated and trained. They led us into a realm full of history and of fierce fighting but yet, superb nature scene!
The Red bus Company gave us a splendid experience.

Excellent day trip from Edinburgh. We had a lovely friendly guide/driver who told us all about the local history of the places we went to and gave us plenty of time to look around. Rosslyn Chapel was very interesting and a little bit spooky. You can't take photos inside the Chapel unfortunately. It was great visiting the Roman fort and Hadrians Wall, however guests should know that it is a considerable uphill walk to get to the wall and fort. A couple of unfit people in our group couldn't make it up. I really enjoyed this day trip.
