Good day trip - not too long but filled with variety and lots of interesting doings. Mike, our guide, added immensely to the trip with his commentary and humor! Learned a lot about Scottish history and culture in a short period of time. Stirling Castle was really well laid out for touring, much better than Edinburgh Castle.

This was our my wife and my first trip to Scotland. We were on the tour on the 30th of June.
This tour was amazing. Our guide, Ewan B. was very informative, friendly, and funny. At many of the stops, he would allow plenty of time for photo opportunities, even offering to take pictures of my wife and I, with my camera so that not every photo was a selfie he offered this to anyone who wanted. Everything from the castles to the lochs, and the small towns we stopped at were gorgeous.

One surprise stop, not advertised, ended up being a stand out moment of our entire trip: a stop to see and interact with Highland cows. these animals were incredibly social and adorable.

Thank you Ewan B., and Rabbies Trail Burners, for such an amazing day.

This was an awesome day out with driver Mike from Rabbies. Every person on the 16 seater enjoyed the day wholeheartedly and waited on every moment of the story of Mary Queen of Scots. Thanks Mike for a great day, best day tour we have been on ever!

This was a very good tour and our guide, Fransiska Fran/Franny was excellent! She was very personable and animated while she told us the local history and other interesting information. She also provides music applicable to set the mood of the tour. We highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to see the surrounding areas outside of the city of Edinburgh.

This tour was fantastic and our guide, Jann, was exceptional. Stirling Castle had special significance for me since my great grandfather was a Stirling from this region and this trip has been on my bucket list forever! Jann was very knowledgeable and made this one day excursion informative and fun...offering us lots of opportunities for great photographs and a quick hike on the West Highlands Trail. Highly recommend!

Really good tour. Usually tours can get a bit boring..but our guide was chirpy and kept us entertained throughout. Stirling castle is a must visit..even 90 minutes did not feel enough for the place. The loch's were also amazing.

This tour was OUTSTANDING ... primarily because of the tour guide Graham. He is a real treasure and made Scotland come alive for us.

We couldn't have asked for a better.

Thank you so much!

The day trip to Stirling Castle and Loch Lomond was a really great experience. The bus was new, modern and comfy, which is not unimportant when you're spending several hours in this vehicle. Our tour guide Graeme was not only a very nice man, he was also funny and really entertaining. During the tour he gave us much interesting information about scottish history, scottish society and mindset and about culture. For example I learned and saw where Sean Connery was born and raised. Although the tour was about 8 hours, it was not too exhausting, because there were several stops in the Highlands for taking pictures. And the two main stops at Stirling Castle and Loch Lomond were long enough to explore the grounds. Altogether it was a really good day trip, perfect choice, when you're visiting Edinburgh just for a few days and want to see a little bit more of Scotland. I highly recommend it!

The tour was great and made particularly special by our guide Bob who recounted many tales of Scottish history throughout the day. The scenery around Loch Lomond was breathtaking and the walk along the shores was the highlight for us. We travelled with a 14 year old and a pensioner and we were all entertained and enjoyed the day. I would thoroughly recommend this trip to all ages.

A guia foi excelente! Muito divertida e sabia o q estava falando, apresentando as histórias de uma forma bastante descontraída. Excelente forma de conhecer os arredores de Edimburgo. Recomendo!

A worthwhile tour. The stop at Sterling Castle is timed such that we could take the docent led tour - definitely recommend this tour of the Castle. The stop at Loch Lomond was good, but the highlight of this tour is Sterling Castle. Both the driver and tour guide were excellent and attentive.

Well worth the trip. The castle was amazing so were the 150 steps good for my leg muscles. View was worth it. Loch Lomond was wet so not so good but local pub was.

Seamus MacG really made the trip worthwhile. My wife and I enjoyed his thorough knowledge of history and his tremendous presentations. It would have been nowhere near as entertaining and informative without his insights and stories.

Paul was a terrific guide and driver. There seemed to be no end to the information he had about the areas we were travelling through, and he is a natural born story teller. The pace of the trip is excellent and even the weather couldn't dampen our enthusiasm or Paul's!.
