Great Tour! Great guide - Andy was fantastic, right down to the singing and dancing - careful, you're next!
The Mercedes mini van is very comfortable and so nicely new it made the bit of driving easy to handle.
The amount of time at Stirling Castle allowed for us to take the tour and the time at Loch Lomond was enough to allow for a short hike to a grand vista point and still get a hot cup of coffee to go! The whiskey distillery was very interesting and the tour guides are extremely knowledgeable. Andy pointed out lots of interesting facts and funny stories. We really enjoyed our time.
I did this tour end of October and loved it! Met the guide Collins at Waterloo Place and boarded Hearts of Scotland Tours wee red bus to Stirling Castle. The bus was very comfortable and safe fire extinguisher, first aid kit and emergency instructions given. Had a few hours at the magnificent Stirling Castle and it was empty! Had time to walk around without the crowds and enjoy a bite to eat at the Unicorn Cafe. Stopped by the side of the road to take pictures of the ever so cute Highland Cows!! Then onwards to Loch Lomond for walking along the trails, bay. The Oak Tree Inn for lunch and drams of whiskey and beer. Ended the day at Glengoyne for whiskey tour and tasting!! YUM! Sláinte mhaith! Water of life The day was perfectly paced and got to experience so much. The guides make such a difference on the experience. Thank you!!
We loved our tour and Angela!! She was so upbeat and interesting. Her knowledge of Scotland was amazing, as was her choice of music to go along with our tour. We were here to visit my son and our group of 7 loved every minute of the tour.
Wonderful trip to some beautiful places. Our Guide, Niall, was great...really smart, entertaining and thoughtful. We loved getting the special little stop for a few photos at Doune Castle, too. Overall, a fantastic 1-day excursion!
This is a perfect day tour for those spending a few days in Edinburgh. The combination of castle lake whisky, as well as the enjoyable scenery viewed from the minibus, gives you a very nice glimpse of the country. Iain, our guide and driver, was able to share with us an amazing amount of knowledge, not only related to what we were seeing, but to Scottish life in general, all with a very positive humour!
And the Mercedes minibus itself is superb: spatious, comfy and brand new, the perfect place to sit and relax while admiring the landscape and listening to the pipes...
We had a fantastic day with Kevin, our guide at the heart of Scotland tours.
He was full of information about his countrys history. It was totally fascinating.
We really enjoyed our experience and would never hesitate to ask for him again !!!!!
from your french Canadian friends !!!!

Small group, the guide was not just informative but very funny too, not a single dull moment
This day trip was great. Scott, our tour driver, was very informative and accommodating. I would recommend this trip to anyone who would like to see Stirling Castle and visit a very unique distillery.
Iean was great with a comical and well researched history lesson. Had the entire bus singing! The castle was very impressive and the scotch was great.
It was an excellent way to see a lot of Scotland in not much time. Beautiful scenery, knowledgeable guide...great time!
Great tour, our guide James was very knowledgeable, gave a lot of information, advice and a great review of history .
The whiskey tasting crowned the day.
My guide tour was amazing, James is his name, he is kind and he share with me and the rest of passangers lovely stories, tunes, and family histories besides all history scotland have to offer, heart of scotland is by far the best of scottish tours, thanks James and heart of scotland
Our driver was Iain and he was fantastic. The tour was really well done - Iain was knowledgeable about the areas and the history. He also had some funny stories to tell. We recommend this tour it was a nice mix of country side, castle and whiskey!!
Niall not sure of the spelling was an absolute A-M-A-Z-I-N-G guide! take this tour with him and you will not regret it!
Great Tour! I would have spent more time at the castle and Loch Lomond and less time at the whisky tasting. Also, I would have cut one of the 2 stops in front of the bridge but overall it was a very good experience. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and nice.
Our tour guide Iain was amazing. He was entertaining, informative and knowledgeable. The whole experience was thoroughly enjoyable. Can't fault it at all.
A quality tour to go on, highlighting some of the best of the area of Scotland just out of reach of Edinburgh. Cows were a little anti-social, but our guide Duncan made a good effort to keep our small group amused and had quite a few good stories to tell. He even gave away a free bottle of scotch as a prize for a quiz he set up, quite the generous Scotsman.
Less than great for us, as it covered a lot of ground we had done the prior week. Good guide - humorous.
