Having bought tickets online through Viator, we were able to skip the queue to the box office, showed the confirmation email and given tickets in exchange. Short queue to get onto the ship. Brilliantly laid out so you get to see all the areas of the ship. Had a nice lunch in the on-board restaurant. My 85 year old mother was with us and she found it great too, with places to sit whilst going round. Well worth the drive from Loch Lomond area. Great value for money.

Excellent attraction to see and explore the simplicity of a famous Royal Yacht. You won't be disappointed with your tour as there are so many exhibits to appreciate.

What a brilliant experience to be able to walk the decks that have been witness to so much history. I would recommend that you buy your tickets online before your visit to save yourself a wait in the long line. It's a self guided tour that has been very well thought out, and flows easily from one room to the next. Set aside a couple of hours so you can take in all of the pictures of the Royal family, which are spread throughout the yacht, and definitely have lunch at the on board restaurant. The food was delicious, as was the glass of bubbles! How often do you get the chance to dine where royalty once did???

One of the best self guided tours you can take. The audio is precise and allows you to get a good prospective on how the royals lived on ship. It also though gives you a great view of the yachties who manned her and how the performed in this different environment. Top it off by afternoon tea in the beautiful cafe.

This tour was perfectly organized, giving visitors a chance to see all parts of the Britannia, just as if the Royal Family would be staying aboard.

This was a fascinating insight into the Royal Family and household. It was wonderful to be able to see the Royal apartments and learn about the traditions and daily routine of the royals that stayed on board the Royal Yacht Britannia. Great audio commentary too. Would highly recommend.

We loved our visit, it was all we hoped it would be. The yacht is an intimate view into the life of the royal family. It is well set out, easy to access and has facilities. The tea room is lovely and the cake delicious.

Touring the Royal Britannia was a special treat giving insight and a glimpse into the Royal Family and the traditions and elegance in which they live and relate to the world around them. It was especially enjoyable to see the maturing photographs of her life through the years. What an amazing person and leader through very challenging times throughout the world, the UK, and her own family.
