Loved the guide! Beautiful views, picturesque, Alnwick was gorgeous! Castle on Holy Island was being worked on, so covered and didn't get to see it.

I loved this tour. It was simple because we went to two places, it wasn't constant getting off and on a bus. We also had a reasonable amount of time at each place. The driver was informative, funny and gave great advice and our destinations. I really recommend this trip.

Amazing trip! The weather did not cooperate but our tour guide, Andy made up for it. Great experience at Holy Island, we were lucky with the tide!

Our driver and guide Iain was great -- humorous, informative, and very helpful for my wife on her Travel Scoot mobility device. Alnwick Castle reminded us of Hearst Castle at San Simeon in some respects -- furnishings, fireplaces, massive impressiveness of the site itself. Lindisfarne, or Holy Island, was a reality beyond our wildest dreams. Having read about it in history courses, seeing it in person was awe-inspiring even though the buildings are but ruins of their former glory and importance in early Christendom. A children's choir was singing in the remains of the church, and their melodious sound wafted through the site. As we traveled to and from the occupied zone, the land claimed by Scotland but taken by England, Iain reminded us of how much the Scottish people want their country back, all of it. We don't blame them. It was a windy day and at the official border the Scottish flag flew briskly in the wind while the Union Jack hung limp on the flag pole despite the heavy winds. Seemed symbolic of the break between the UK and Brexit and the division between England and Scotland. We enjoyed Iain's speaking several dialects of Scottish English, English, and Gaelic for us. Excellent Guide. Excellent Tour.

OMG that was amaaaaazing! I have no words, such a comfortable tour. Not tiring at all and yet you manage to see so very much and learn so many things. The Holy Island and Alnwick castle are a must see for anyone visiting the area. Our guide James was absolutely fantastic, probably the best guide we ever had. So very knowledgeable and entertaining. We would not only recommend this to everyone but also take the tour again ourselves when we are back in the area. Thank you so much guys.
