Gary, our Tourguide made this trip amazing! He was extremely knowledgeable and very personable and just a nice guy........listening to his accent was definitely a plus. Fell in love with Edinburgh, the highlands and the lochs! Im sure spring, summer and fall would be amazing but seeing them in January was pretty great. I would go again several times and definitely recommend anyone interested in beauty to go and feast your eyes on them.
The day was dreary, but the tour was very good, and the Mark our guide provided good commentary. lots of facts and a good amount of history in during the travel time. While you must expect dreary days at least once while in Scotland, every effort was make to make sure you had time for a wander. It was a great trip and very interesting.
Lovely trip through the Highlands. Our guide Marco was infromative and great. Highly recommend.
We enjoyed our time exploring the Highlands. The castles stops were amazing. Our bus driver/tour guide was very knowledgeable and very informative of the places we were exploring.
This is the best tour I've been so far - perfectly organised and executed. I would like to highly praise our tour guide Hamish, who was driving and taking care of our comfort ,as well as narrating lots of stories with historical facts. He was also reciting verses in Celtic, which added an absolute sense of authenticity .Hamish was managing a CD with some authentic music related to the places we were visiting or passing by ,reducing the speed at interesting points and also stopping couple of times for our snap shots of the Highlands cow and at the Rest and Be Thankful. The tour covers some beautiful spots and beautiful castles
This tour will remain with me for my entire life and I am already considering to do one of the 2 or 3 day tours next year .
Scotland has now special place in my heart !
Thank you Hamish , Viatour and Timberbush Tours.

Doune Castle and Inveraray Castle were both really neat. We had a fair amount of time at both. Our tour guide provided great information about the sites we visited and those that we drove past as well as background info on the history of the country to help us better understand the places we were seeinng. Unfortunately, the weather was rainy most of the day, which took away from some of the great views we were hoping to see on the drive, but that's not something we could plan for.
Mark was a great tour guide, showed us some lovely castles, the best being Inverarary castle and the Lochs of Lubnaig and Luss were very pretty.
It was a wonderful journey. The views are splendorous. I think we could spend extra 30 minutes, at least, in Luss. This village diserve more time to be appreciated.
The tour was amazing! Our guide, Gillian, was very nice and had a lot of interesting things to say about Scotland and the locations we visited! I would book it again anytime!
perfect day to see the highlights of Lochs and Highlands - good impression and nice busdriver who was the guide as well
Highly recommend taking this tour as you'll see some gorgeous castles and countryside!
Tour was very good. The driver was excellent in telling us about the area, and what we were seeing. My only wish was that we would have spent more time at Inveraray Castle.
We had a great tour with Martin as our guide. It is a very good overview, and it allows you to see many highlights of beautiful Scotland in a short window. Martin is a great guide, and obviously loves his job and showing off his homeland.
The Highland Lochs tour was very nice. On time and professional. Timberidge Tours did a nice tour with this one.
Our guide was great! She had so much enthusiasm which made the journey very enjoyable and entertaining. Very knowledgeable withgreat stories. The scenery was beautiful especially as the weather was so sunny. Throughly enjoyable and highly recommended. Tip: bring lunch to allow more time visit castl
This trip was a great trip. The one thing I think would be helpful is to publish the cost of the castle entrances in the tour information, so people are aware of the cost.
This was a lovely day trip from Edinburgh allowing us to explore the West highlands in about 7 hours. We thoroughly enjoyed our guide, Mr. Patrick Douglas', authentic Scottish accent and kilt! He was knowledgeable, funny and friendly and gave us enough time to explore at each stop. Would highly recommend this trip for anyone who wants to get a taste of the highlands, castles and lochs in a short amount of time.
This was a wonderful reasonably priced highlands tour! Our your guide Dave, kept us entertained and informed during the entire day. I would happily do another tour by this company if I am in Scotland again!
The tour is very interesting. Our guide, Mark, was really helpful and cheerful. The only thing I did not like was that I would have liked to have more time to walk around during the programmed stops.
If you're an Outlander fan which I'm the biggest then this is a good tour for you! The only problem I had with this tour was that the guide was an older gentleman and talked to softly for me to hear. I guess I should have said something but just didn't. Besides that this tour is a great way to see why Scotland has a reputation of beautiful landscape and the castles. I do recommend the tour!

Good tour and a great guide/driver. But 30 minutes is not enough time at Doune Castle. I would recommend this tour but not for Doune Castle. It was a waste of the entrance fee. Inveraray Castle was beautiful and interesting.
