Great service! Very prompt and friendly and clean vehicle would highly recommend! Driver was knowledgeable of the area and helped us with some recommendations
Fun and safe!

Josue picked us up on time and was very polite and easy going the whole day. We had an itinerary planned and he gave us small tips on each winery we wanted to try and was very knowledgeable. Josue was very attentive to when we wanted to leave each winery and was there to open the car door for us. He was a great driver, even ion the rainy dirt roads. I will definitely book this private driving company next time we come to Valle de Guadalupe.

Alex picked us up for our hotel on time and gave us some great recommendations since we didn’t have reservations. Would highly recommend hiring a driver.
Easy way to explore Valle
Marina_G, Dec 2022
Hiring a private driver was a great idea to explore Valle! I came with my own itinerary and just told my driver when our reservations were and he was always there on time and ready. They texted/WhatApp'ed me the driver's contact info the day before the tour.
No Tour, No Good
cpa, Oct 2022
We were looking forward to a private wine tour of the Guadalupe valley. We had done alot of research into which wineries to visit, and requested a specific driver. Our driver showed up, didn't speak any English, and had no knowledge of our plans, nor could we tell him as he didn't understand us. Tour operator was to make reservations, which was not done. For lunch we requested a winery that had a deli or sandwiches, but was taken to an expensive lunch that took forever. Other wineries were not open, or not available. We were on a cruise ship, and did manage to find out that there were English speaking guides with the company. He just drove us, and didn't know anything about any of the wineries.

A most lovely day

Josue did a wonderful job. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and provided a great experience on a Tuesday when many options were closed. Between his English and my Spanish we communicated well and both learned some new words.
Great time in Valle de Guadalupe

Ruta Del Vino tours made our trip to Valle memorable. Thank you Antonio for your attention and prompt responses. Antonio was an excellent tour guide and driver. He was very familiar with the area which made it easier for us to select the best place to enjoy the wine and ambiance. We will be back and definitely use Ruta Del Vino Tours.
Phenmenal day with Josue
Thomas_B, Jan 2022
Josue was our driver. He was super knowledgable about the area and the wines. We had one reservation and after that we let Josue be the expert and guide us to the best spots based on what we where into. He was able to get us into several places without a reservation because he had connections with the wineries. We had a phenimenal day. Thank you Josue!

Fantastic experience wine tasting
Samantha_H, Dec 2021
We had an excellent experience wine tasting in Valle De Guadalupe. Josue was a fantastic driver. He was very knowledgeable about the region and had great recommendations. He handled all the reservations and even helped us grab food on the way home. I will book another tour next time I’m in the area.
Great time discovering wines with Jacinto!
Silvana_L, Oct 2021
Our driver Jacinto, arrived on time in a newer 4-door sedan. Since we hadn’t pre-arranged any reservations for this day, Jacinto recommended all 3 wineries as well as a dinner spotl We appreciated Jacinto’s knowledge of the wineries as well as making our day special by arranging reservations on the fly!
1st Stop: Clos de Tres Cantos. The architecture here was a blend of pyramids, metal sculptures, desert scape and vineyard scenery with a great outdoor tasting area. Eliza, our hostess, explained our wine tasting selections (Simple tasting: $350 MEX; Premium tasting, all reds: $700 MEX). I enjoyed the relaxed vibe and personal attention given. My favorite wine was the 2016 Noesis. I have to mention we were given mineral water with ice cube and a slice of lemon. Absolutely delicious on a hot day!
2nd Stop: Tres Valles. A small winery with great metal sculptures and interesting wine names. Most of their wines are named with Kiliwa words (Kiliwa are the indigenous people in the area. Yuman language, originates in the most northern part of Mexico). “Maat” signifies soil; “Kuwal” signifies tinto or red; “Kojaa” signifies wine. Alejandro was our host and gave us an excellent summary of the wines. He was very attentive and spoke English. My favorite wines were the 2018 Maat (100% Grenanche) and the 2015 Kojaa (Petite Sirah).
3rd Stop: Lechuza. My favorite winery for its wines! All their wines are delicious! They have a 2019 “Vuelo” (Sauvignon Blanc/Chardonnay blend) very light and refreshing , 2020 “Stainless Chardonnay” ( 100% Chardonnay) I loved this wine! Out of all the white wines I tried in Valle de Guadalupe, this was the best!, 2020 Pluma (100% Nebbiolo), and2018 “Reserva Amantes (a blend of Cab, Nebbiolo and Merlot) both rich in bouquet and flavor. This is a must-go-to winery! Wine tasting (all 4 wines), $400 MEX.
4th Stop: Fauna Restaurant at Bruma Winery. Scenery and food at its best! An interesting food menu, mostly charred items. Definitely a go-to place for foodies! Who knew charred lettuce could be so good. Food was served with delicious blue corn tortillas. Yum. Can’t speak for the wines but our meal was great. This is a very pricey place, but worth the experience.

Josue - Ruta del Vino Tours - the best!
Travis_F, Apr 2021
The Ruta del Vino Tours (via Viator booking) ended up being perfect for my girlfriend and I. We started with a plan for two specific wineries, and our private driver recommended then took us to an excellent third (and it sounded like he could take us to more, possibly some fully booked even, if we had had the time for more). Josue Leal himself is the best! He has a really nice, clean car, and speaks excellent English (which was great considering how poor my Spanish is at the moment). He was very nice and fun to speak to, and if we have all of his information saved because we'd definitely want to book with him again in the future! Thank you again Ruta del Vino Tours and Josue!
