Eugenia was an amazing tour guide from start to finish! Her knowledge and humor made the trip a memorable one! It felt like we were traveling with another family member. The tour itself was an easy drive from Ensenada to the La Bufadora. The views were amazing and the food options were plentiful! We got to also spend some time with a black jaguar, bengal tiger, and lion (cubs, of course). We paid about $80 USD for me, my husband, and 2 kids (10 & 15) and they absolutely loved it!
Eugenia offers what no one else can...her engaging personality. We felt like she tailored our tour exclusively to us. She ensured that our mother with her wheelchair was accommodated, & the entire your was accessable. On a scale of 1-10 she gets a 60!! (since there were 6 of us)
I had fun on my trip. Our tour guide,Jorge, was very pleasant and helpful. I had a little trouble finding the pick up spot for the trip. A map of it on the website would be helpful. Overall though, it was an enjoyable experience.
What a pleasant surprise this tour was ! We walked to the end of the Carnival Cruise Ship pier and was greeted by Juan Santiago and left for the La Bufadora Tour in his personal car. Juan knew the area well and he was very friendly. I couldn't believe we had a personal tour for the low rate I paid. The La Bufadora blow hole was interesting and Juan pointed out many interesting points along the way - this was one of my favorite Tour.
Rather than purchasing an excursion from the Cruise, we opted to book a local guide with transportation by a private vehicle. We were delighted to have this personal tour led by Eugenia Ibanez and Lugi Minchini who took great care of our family of five. Eugenia is very personable, speaks excellent English and answered all our questions about the area, culture, people and Mexico. She was the highlight of our tour and made us all feel welcomed, comfortable and informed. Luigi is also an excellent driver, seemingly knowing every speed bump and pothole, where he would slow down and cross easily so that the passengers were not jostled. They were very flexible and made the trip feel more like a nice family outing ... it was a pleasure meeting them and hearing so much about Ensenada, the city and area they so much enjoy.
