Searching for an exceptional way to explore the Florida Everglades? Discover the exotic beauty of the Everglades’ mangrove forest on a kayaking eco-tour. Spend 3.5 hours winding through sleepy creeks and under mangrove canopies, getting up-close views of resident herons, alligators, ducks, otters and more. With an expert guide, learn kayaking technique and enjoy exploring this unusual wetlands setting.
  • 3.5-hour kayak tour through the mangrove tunnels in the Florida Everglades
  • Explore one of the largest mangrove forests in North America!
  • Kayak under the mangrove jungle canopy and admire the incredible scenery
  • Watch for diverse wildlife including alligators, herons, ducks and various fish species
  • Led by a certified naturalist guide
  • No kayak experience required!
Select a morning or afternoon start time for your eco-tour and head to the launch point in Everglades National Park, located about 90 minutes from Fort Myers and Miami. Here, you'll meet your naturalist guide and tour group, and get a brief lesson in paddling a single-person kayak before setting off onto the lake towards the mangrove forest. Designed for beginner kayakers, this trip doesn't require technical paddling skills.
Follow your guide into the mangrove tunnels, where tree canopies arch almost 10 feet (3 meters) overhead. As you glide through this vast forest — one of the largest mangrove forests in North America — view the flora that make up the diverse ecosystem and spot native wildlife like herons, egrets, ducks, spoonbills, alligators, otters and an array of fish. Soak up tales from your local guide as you wind through the quiet creeks and snap amazing photos.
Your 3.5-hour tour concludes back at the launch point.

Very nice 3+ hours escape in the Mangrove away from the crowd but close to nature! I would recommend!

Amazing experience with an awesome guide. Would recommend as a great way of learning about the eco system and getting up close to the inhabitants

If you are a nature lover, this kayak outing is for you! Our guide was extremely knowledgable on all plant and wild life. We saw lots of alligators, birds, orchids and the mangroves were impressive. It was very much a stop and smell the roses tour. If you want to do long distances of kayaking, you might be disappointed.

The tour was fascinating: we got exactly what we expected: Don the guide is really a professional in Mangroves and told us lots of interesting things about ecosystem of Everglades. It'd be a failure not to participate on this tour.

We had a fantastic time on our tour and managed to see a variety of the wildlife that can be found in the Mangrove forests of the Everglades - including a number of different birds and 4 alligators. The tranquillity of the mangroves and the feeling of truly being 'at one with nature' was wonderful. Our guide (Ron) was extremely informative and helpful.

Man muß selber paddeln.
