What You Can Expect

Falmouth Shore Excursion: Bob Marley Experience

Falmouth Shore Excursion: Bob Marley Experience

Following pickup at the Falmouth cruise port, board a comfortable tour coach and travel east toward the village of Nine Mile.

During the journey, travel through the the oldest and largest parish on the island, St Ann. Wind through the Jamaica's beautiful mountains and enjoy the verdant scenery, a very different landscape than that of Jamaica's famous coastal beaches.

Upon arrival in the remote village of Nine Mile, stroll through the community, stopping at both his birthplace and his final resting place. Visit his childhood home, which features photos of his life, music awards and some of his musical instruments. Walk to the rock at Mt Zion, where the legendary reggae musician spent much time meditating and was the inspiration for some of his music. At his gravesite, pay your respects to Jamaica's most famous son, credited for bringing reggae music to the world.

Your 5-hour tour concludes with a return trip to the Falmouth cruise port.

This was an amazing experience, better then what I thought it would be.Our guide was humorous fun and had a great vibe. Although maybe not for everyone, if you love Reggae and are a fan of Bob Marley, I'm sure you will get what you want out this tour. I took my 3 teen children and they really enjoyed it to, having grown up listening to Bob, they appreciated it too.The drive from Falmouth (we were on a cruise) was interesting as well seeing the local landscape etc. Thanks for a great day :)

We enjoyed the ride through the country side our guide provided a lot of facts and trivia. The Bob Marley museum and site has to be experienced! LOL. adult content. I would recommend as an excursion especially if not into port shopping. I bought some great spices from his mother's recipes. Nice band provided a great respite. I would caution people with walking difficulties.

A long drive for a half hour tour of some shacks. Not a tour for children. Had difficulty locating driver for tour, he was outside gate.
