Pickup details

Pick up point is always outside the hotel, close to security gate / main gate of the hotel. There is no pick up service for the hotels located in Oludeniz district as the boat starts from Oludeniz harbour itself. You can easily walk down to the beach and harbour where the boats are. We will give you the boat name and the time to show up there.

What To Expect

Meet a driver at your hotel in Fethiye, Oludeniz, Hisaronu, Calis, or Ovacik, then travel to the Oludeniz harbor to board a two-deck boat for the day.

Find a comfortable place to relax on board as the crew steers away from the Blue Lagoon, sailing south along the coast towards Butterfly Valley, where the mountains join the ocean at a pristine, sandy beach.

Upon arrival at Butterfly Valley you’ll have ample time to explore on your own: swim off the beach, enjoy the sun, or try to spot some of the region’s colorful butterflies on the valley’s easy-to-follow hiking trails.

When it’s time for lunch, the crew will serve a meal of grilled chicken or fish with rice and salad, then raise the anchor for the trip to Gemiler Island, believed to be the final resting place of Saint Nicholas.

Disembark for a hike to a scenic overlook and visit hillside ruins that date back to Byzantine times. After the walk, cool off in the bay, where dolphins and sea turtles can sometimes be seen.

Following your time at Gemiler Island, begin the sail back to Oludeniz, then finish the day with return transfer to your hotel.

Butterfly Valley

It is beatifull valey called Butterfly valley. You can get off the shore, buy entrance ticket (around 2€) and walk in the valley. Those who dont want may stay on the boat and relax or swim.

Did not contact me for pickup. I did not make the trip. The company refused to give me a refund also Viator refused to give me a refund. Horrible experience.

Bad communication & poor organization

We had a good day despite the tour company. When I booked, I reached out to the tour operator to get more details - like start and end time and how much cash to bring. They wouldn’t answer my questions and if it hadn’t been booked through viator I would’ve cancelled because it seemed very sketchy. They finally told us they would pick us up at 9am and I sent the address for a 5th time, they didn’t tell us this pick up time until 10pm the night before. The instructions were to wait outside and that there’s always a possibility the shuttle may arrive up to 15 minutes after that time. We went outside to wait at 8:58am and didn’t get picked up until 9:53am. Nearly an hour late that we just waited outside with little to no answer from the tour company as when they’d arrive. The shuttle didn’t have enough seats for everyone and multiple people had to stand for the 30+ min drive to the beach. The boat ride itself was nice with lots of time to swim and plenty of space, a good lunch out on the water. However we booked for English and they made maybe 2 announcements in English, the rest in Turkish so every time we stopped we had no idea where we were stopping or for how long. More of a transfer than a “tour” when we arrived back the beach, the transfer was again 20+ mins late to pick us up and then the organizers argued and spent another 20 mins trying to figure out who was taking which guests while we stood wet, sandy, and hot, waiting. The shuttle back was miserably hot and the driver skipped four stop so we had to go to the front and request he turned around. The views were gorgeous but things were not organized well at all.

So the experience wasn’t as nice as I expected it to be. I wanted to go to butterfly valley but due to bad weather we didn’t stop there. Also i wish i would have book tickets on spot as they were much cheaper!!

Great locations but no tour guiding

Overview great locations and the boat was in the majority comfortable. However no element of tour guiding it was more of a taxi service to each location (with the exception serving food and drinks). I would have preferred more time at the cold water lagoon rather than at an hour at St Nicolas Island. No one from the boat wanted to climb up to what is essentially only ruins.
