Cinque Terre is definitely a must-do for anyone who visits the Tuscany region. We recommend NOT to take the lunch given but rather eat at one of the many amazing restaurants of Monte Rosso, you really need to try the local sea food. We were a couple, had an amazing time all thanks to our guide Super Mario. Loved his jokes, he was a very good company and took really good care of us.

Absolutely amazing site to see if you want to see some of the beautiful coast line of Italy. Fortunate enough to have 3 wonderful guides led by Lucia. They picked us up in a comfortable bus which has WIFI - perfect for the Kids. Led us through a 12 hour tour did not feel that way even though a 2 hour bus ride there and back including bus, train in between the towns and a boat ride. Cinque Terre is lined by great mountain views and obviously a gorgeous and crystal clear sea. We opted for the included lunch which was fine Seafood Salad, a pesto pasta and ice cream for dessert. Also included a bottle of while wine per table. Accomodating staff at restaurant. Finally got a chance to have some free time which we used to go for a refreshing swim. A must do tour and dont forget your bathing suit!

We had a wonderful day. Started with some rain but turned out sunny and warm. Waves were too rough for the ferries but made for beautiful scenery with waves breaking on the shores. The included lunch was very nice. Te villages are amazing.

Wow! What an adventure! This tour was a lot of fun. We truly enjoyed the beautiful scenery and our guide, Mario had a special treat for us. He sang beutiful songs on our way back from the tour. If you decide to take this tour, you will be entertained on the bus as well! The food was also great!

Cinque Terre is an incredible place to visit and experience. It was wonderful to walk around the different towns and see the colourful buildings. It is beautiful to see. We are so glad we took the tour as it was very well organized and got us to all the different locations without us having to do it on our own. Enough time was spent in each place that we did not feel we missed out on anything. It was a stress free way to visit Cinque Terre for a day.

Mario or Super Mario as we called him, was an excellent host. He had us laughing all day, and did a great job keeping our big group together all day.

Our tour guide was kind, funny and full of knowledge. He had a great voice, both speaking and singing! Yes... He sang for us! Our tour guide Mario was wonderful! I would recommend this trip to anyone who has never been to Cinque Terre! Now, we can go back on our own and spend time the places we loved the most. It was a great way to see the highlights of a beautiful place in a safe and fun environment!

This was a nice day. The villages were very quaint. However, we didnt get to spend much time in the first 4 villages - only about 45 minutes on the average. We took a two minute train ride from village to village. We really enjoed the ladt village, and swimming in the ocean.

I took this company two times and do really recommend them
Cinque terre via tour Florence
It was one of the best part of our trip we took two tours with viator -Vatican and clique terre
Both time our tour leaders were very caring and accomidating we needed restroom often and they helped us
in cinquoe terre Also we lost a very important thing while changing our swim suit she helped us to find it and even the group went ahead to next village she write on a paper the stop we need to get of and she waited there for us

It is a tour more for young active people of all ages we had family with stroller and small kids and also one person that did heart her foot and was in wheel chair but they had hard time to keep up with us we had to climb stairs or go down very steep and narrow places
Recomend you take towel and bating suit
We started the tour with hour and half bus drive and then we had to go down a steep walk way. The Scenery is breath taking we had 30 minute to explore the first village then we jumped on train to second village more beautiful from first they all have a very steep walkway
There we took boat to third village. Which we had lunch with the tour. The food is not enough for most people it is small sea food salad and green salad for vegetarians and then very small portion of pesto pasta and then gelato
Which was not enough food for men
There are many other places with much less money that you can eat
After lunch we went swimming that was really needed because it was very warm
Then we left by train to last village. At the very bottom of the village next to ocean if you go left there is a small gelato place it was great

We loved seeing this part of Italy. The views are fabulous. The little villages are quaint and memorable.
The day we were there the boats were not running due to rough seas. The only negative was having to crowd onto trains between villages, but it was worth it!

Seeing the Cinque Terre wasn't even listed as an optional excursion on our Northern Italy tour, but on our bucket list a long while. We took this day trip on the scheduled free day on our tour. The weather was perfect, and we saw 4 villages. A must see, but VERY crowded, which was a little anxiety producing in the beginning, because we worried about getting separated from our guide. But he was wonderful, and didn't leave a location until we all identified ourselves. We enjoyed the colorful villages, and beautiful coast line, Even though it is several hours from Florence, time on the road was scenic, and passed quickly. A long day, but very reasonably priced, and very worthwhile. If you are considering this , we also closely monitored the weather conditions before we booked this tour.

Cinque Terre was beyond my expectations. Its nothing like I've ever seen before. I'd do this over a thousand times over!
Worth every penny paid and worth waking up early for. Our tour guide Mario and driver, Roberto were fun people. Mario's humor and patience made the trip enjoyable.
Trip includes:
1 We see 4 of 5 islands - Manarola, Riomaggiore, Vernazza and Monterosso. All 4 were spectacularly beautiful and breathtaking, its no wonder that Italy has given birth to so many artists, poets and writes.
2 The trip starts on a bus from Firenze to the entry point of Cinque Terre - an enjoyable 2.5 hour journey.
3 At the start of Cinque Terre, we board a train at Manarola station to Riomaggiore - the fishing villages are surprisingly well connected!
4 We spend some time at Riomaggiore and then went on a boat ride to Monterosso. Monterosso is a treat to the eyes, its beautiful, enroute you see different shades of blue, coastal greenery and quant beautifully colored small buildings.
Monterosso is a wonderland! We spent close to 3 hours there and then took a train to Vernazza.
Lovely place again and finally from Vernazza we took a train to La Spezia and from there a bus back to Firenze.

Great trip. DO NOT MISS THIS!! PS: We also had a three course lunch - yummy!
