The tour guide was good. But it was rather rushy to visit the 4 villages just in one day and the train was very crowded.
Cinque Terre is beautiful, and in order to see so much of it in one day, going with a guide and bus ride from Florence is a major headache saver. Because it is difficult to get from one of the Cinque Terre cities to the other, and it is a long trip from Florence, it was well worth our time and money to have a tour guide take care of all of those details. Our tour guide Antonella was very informative and kept us on pace. There is not much to do in most of the Cinque Terre cities other than look around, but in the city you stop for lunch, we highly recommend renting a chair and umbrella and going into the water.
Some of the most beautiful sights I have ever seen. Be prepared for a long day but 100 worth it.
This place is unbelievable. A must see of any trip in the region.
Everytime I turned one view was as beautiful as the last. Colorful and breathetaking. A must see when you visit Italy. It was a full day, the food was good and the people on the tour were very pleasant. Make sure you wear your best sneakers for this one. Much if it is up and down hill walking although we did what we could. We were on our own to tour what we wanted and of course shop!
Long day trip to Cinque Terre from Florence but totally worth it. Highly recommended.
We enjoyed this trip very much. The bus ride there and back was fine although a bathroom on board or a stop would have been nice. The Cinque Terre area is so pretty. The amount of time we had was appropriate to get a feel for the area. Thankfully the weather was great and we were able to take the boat and see the towns from the water - it would have still been a nice trip, but not nearly as good without the boat.

It's a long day, but well worth it!
It's my second time on this excursion, first with my wife, then my son. I was surprised both times how well the guides organized such a large group. Each village has its own personality, and this tour ensures you get the time to feel each of them. The first time, my wife and I were able to hike between villages, which was very special the working terraces vineyards, the many spectacular panoramas. The second time, the tour didn't hike but the bus, train, and boat were great experiences in themselves. We got see the villages from behind them, in the middle of them, and from the sea.
A great destination, and an inexpensive way to do it.
This trip gave me a taste of Cinque Terre and made me realize that it would be absolutely beautiful to spend a full day in each city. The guide was amazing, pointing things out on the bus ride and also on the boat ride. She managed to make us all aware of our time limitations and made sure that we were all together for the ride between towns.
This was a very long day and we really should have done it from La Spezia however it was terrific. We travelled on a double decker coach which was very comfortable. We visited 4 of the 5 towns in Cinque Terre. We spent some time on trains and had. Ferry rude which gave us the opportunity to see the coast line from the water. We had a good lunch and plenty of free time to explore. Our guides did a wonderful job keeping us together and informing us about the area.
Cinque Terre is definitely a must-do for anyone who visits the Tuscany region. We recommend NOT to take the lunch given but rather eat at one of the many amazing restaurants of Monte Rosso, you really need to try the local sea food. We were a couple, had an amazing time all thanks to our guide Super Mario. Loved his jokes, he was a very good company and took really good care of us.
Absolutely amazing site to see if you want to see some of the beautiful coast line of Italy. Fortunate enough to have 3 wonderful guides led by Lucia. They picked us up in a comfortable bus which has WIFI - perfect for the Kids. Led us through a 12 hour tour did not feel that way even though a 2 hour bus ride there and back including bus, train in between the towns and a boat ride. Cinque Terre is lined by great mountain views and obviously a gorgeous and crystal clear sea. We opted for the included lunch which was fine Seafood Salad, a pesto pasta and ice cream for dessert. Also included a bottle of while wine per table. Accomodating staff at restaurant. Finally got a chance to have some free time which we used to go for a refreshing swim. A must do tour and dont forget your bathing suit!
A great day out, 2bus rides 5 train rides and 1 boat, excellent well worth it, and very well organised perfect timing all day. Guide was very helpful. Fabulous scenery would definately recommend this one.
We had a wonderful day. Started with some rain but turned out sunny and warm. Waves were too rough for the ferries but made for beautiful scenery with waves breaking on the shores. The included lunch was very nice. Te villages are amazing.
Wow! What an adventure! This tour was a lot of fun. We truly enjoyed the beautiful scenery and our guide, Mario had a special treat for us. He sang beutiful songs on our way back from the tour. If you decide to take this tour, you will be entertained on the bus as well! The food was also great!
Cinque Terre is an incredible place to visit and experience. It was wonderful to walk around the different towns and see the colourful buildings. It is beautiful to see. We are so glad we took the tour as it was very well organized and got us to all the different locations without us having to do it on our own. Enough time was spent in each place that we did not feel we missed out on anything. It was a stress free way to visit Cinque Terre for a day.
This tour was great! Everything went off smoothly and on time. Our guide, Mario, was also very good. I would recommend this tour - it was fun and well worth the money.
Mario or Super Mario as we called him, was an excellent host. He had us laughing all day, and did a great job keeping our big group together all day.
Our tour guide was kind, funny and full of knowledge. He had a great voice, both speaking and singing! Yes... He sang for us! Our tour guide Mario was wonderful! I would recommend this trip to anyone who has never been to Cinque Terre! Now, we can go back on our own and spend time the places we loved the most. It was a great way to see the highlights of a beautiful place in a safe and fun environment!
This was a nice day. The villages were very quaint. However, we didnt get to spend much time in the first 4 villages - only about 45 minutes on the average. We took a two minute train ride from village to village. We really enjoed the ladt village, and swimming in the ocean.
Great trip, very interesting and beautiful places, Good lunch and very good guide Dario, well worth the effort. Recommended day trip.
I took this company two times and do really recommend them
Cinque terre via tour Florence
It was one of the best part of our trip we took two tours with viator -Vatican and clique terre
Both time our tour leaders were very caring and accomidating we needed restroom often and they helped us
in cinquoe terre Also we lost a very important thing while changing our swim suit she helped us to find it and even the group went ahead to next village she write on a paper the stop we need to get of and she waited there for us
It is a tour more for young active people of all ages we had family with stroller and small kids and also one person that did heart her foot and was in wheel chair but they had hard time to keep up with us we had to climb stairs or go down very steep and narrow places
Recomend you take towel and bating suit
We started the tour with hour and half bus drive and then we had to go down a steep walk way. The Scenery is breath taking we had 30 minute to explore the first village then we jumped on train to second village more beautiful from first they all have a very steep walkway
There we took boat to third village. Which we had lunch with the tour. The food is not enough for most people it is small sea food salad and green salad for vegetarians and then very small portion of pesto pasta and then gelato
Which was not enough food for men
There are many other places with much less money that you can eat
After lunch we went swimming that was really needed because it was very warm
Then we left by train to last village. At the very bottom of the village next to ocean if you go left there is a small gelato place it was great
