A long day but a great way to see Cinque Terre if your time is limited. Very well organized. Some time to yourself. Not recommended for those with limited walking ability.
Absolutely awesome tour. If you have the time and money a must do. The tour guide was great and was very knowledgeable. She had a big group to contend with but managed not to leave anyone behind.
Early start but comfortable air conditioned bus to Cirque Terre and plenty of time to explore before train rides to the next village. Good leisurely pasta lunch and time to explore too. A ferry ride to the last of four villages. Our guide Carla was charming and informative. Last train was back to where bus was parked and then a two hour trip back to Florence.
The guide was adorable and very good. She was considering all styles of walking and making adjustments with the schedule so everyone could enjoy the trip. She was great and she knew it a lot of information!! The place is wonderful!!

Beautiful place with vibrant colors of nature! Enjoyed taking the train to four of the five villages!
The Cinque Terra area was amazing and very picturesque. A must see on any Italian trip. Next time I would stay in Genoa instead of Florence which would save many hours of bus travel which was boring. Guides didn't add much to the tour except making sure the logistics of getting from place-to-place worked. Our tour combined English and Spanish groups which meant everything had to be done twice. I think each group was big enough to stand alone.
By far the best experience ever. I'd visit again but I'd definitely opt to stay overnight and spend more time exploring... :
Fantastic day! Bus was a very comfortable ride. Tour guide was great at giving us background prior to stops and clear in when and where to meet which everyone respected and on time. Would always like more time in some stops but you can't do all the towns if you did it any other way. Our lunch in Monterosso was very good and fun with the group! I was afraid it would take away from our time but it was good to relax and then see the town. A walk on the beach, thru town with a gelato while we gathered for the ferry. It was beautiful to see the towns again from the water. Great photos! Over all- highly recommend. I'm sure it would be different in summer as the crowds would be overwhelming to the small towns- not something a tour can control. Thanks to all!
Recommended trip for anyone that wants a taste of Cinque Terre. The staff was great and efficient ! Enjoyable bus ride to La Spezia, then short walk to 1st town. Beautiful seaside sights. Organized short train rides to other 3 towns. Ferry weather permitting. Each town was at sea port and beautiful.
Nice outing to the country and ocean. The weather and the view was amazing. Definitely worthy to experience.
Caterina did a great job managing our large group and keeping us on track time wise. This tour allows you to see four of the five villages, which would be difficult to do on your own. It was a long day, but the experience was well worth it. Monterosso was our favorite village. We met new friends and tried great wine. My husband and I recommend this tour!
This trip was amazing!! It was a long day but every bit worth it. We stopped in 4 of the 5 cities of Cique Terre and had plenty of time in each place to wander around. The guide gives you information about each city, takes the tour on the transfers and then leaves you free to spend the allotted time on your own. The towns are amazing to see. We did not do the included lunch and had no problem finding a place to eat on our own. Thankfully we had beautiful weather and was able to do the boat ride which gave fantastic views from the water. Katerina was a wonderful guide who gave us plenty of information and kept the tour moving smoothly. I highly recommend this trip to anyone considering.
Be ready to walk! The tour was great and the scenery was beautiful. Bus, train, and water ferry, what a way to get the picture perfect tour.
The short time in the first three towns was a bit disappointing but the overall experience was great. We loved out tour guide Claudia, she was terrific.
Great value for the money- gets you to 4 of the 5 towns and allows you to explore each one on your own. A long day but well worth it- not to be missed if you are going to Florence.
Absolutely brilliant with stunning scenery. The towns are very pretty not a trip to be missed
I would highly recommend this tour. Beautiful cliff side villages. Our tour guide was fabulous and very knowledgeable. Must do day trip.
I was amazed how much we were able to see in one day with this trip! We managed to explore 4 of the 5 towns in Cinque Terre and took in the view as well as food and shopping at each stop as we were given free time to explore at our own pace. However, I would issue a few words of caution- this is a VERY LARGE group tour. Our full group was 63 people, we started on a bus, took several train rides between the towns and unfortunately the seas were too rough for a boat ride that day but we all managed to stay together for the transport during each leg of the journey. With such a large group please understand there is very little in the way of a guided tour and this is intended to be independent exploration. We were given designated times and meeting points in each town to coordinate transport and that certainly adds a layer of complexity especially for our wonderful tour guide!. This tour also requires quite a lot of walking to really take things in so come prepared - we absolutely loved our time in each town and the views were stunning!
This was an amazing day! We were impressed with our guide Luca in his knowledge of the region and his flexibility. We hiked from Vernazza to Monterosso which gave us some great views of the coastline and we met some wonderful people along the way!
Loved it! I wish there had been more free time to spend in each village. Our group was very large, sometimes hard to keep everyone together. Definitely recommend
The tour guide , Luca, was amazing and we really saw a lot of the area. Beautiful little towns!
THIS TOUR IS ANOTHER ONE I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND.. OUR GUIDES WERE FANTASTIC.. VERY WELL ORGANIZED..
IT RAINED ON US BUT NOT ENOUGH TO DAMPEN OUR SPIRITS.. DEFINITELY TAKE YOUR UMBRELLA AND A JACKET JUST IN CASE.. BECAUSE WHEN WE LEFT FLORENCE IT WAS SUNNY AND BEAUTIFUL BUT GOING TO THE CINQUE TERRE IT WAS CLOUDY AND COOL AND WE ENCOUNTERED AND MISTY RAIN. SO FOR THOSE OF US THAT DIDN'T TAKE AN UMBRELLA OR JACKET WE WERE PILING INTO THE LITTLE SHOPS ON OUR FIRST STOP TO BY PONCHO'S AND UMBRELLA'S. WE ALL LOOKED VERY COLORFUL.. IT WAS BREATH TAKING... THE VILLAGE'S WERE SO QUAINT..
WE TRAVELED BY BUS AND FERRY AND TRAIN WHICH WENT SMOOTH.
MY TOUR INCLUDED LUNCH AT ONE OF THE VILLAGES AND LET ME TELL YOU THE FOOD WAS AMAZING. THE RESTAURANT WAS SO ORGANIZED FOR THE SIZE OF OUR GROUP.. WHEN WE SAT DOWN THEY IMMEDIATELY BEGAN SERVING OUR MEAL. OUR MEAL WE HAD A SEAFOOD PASTA SALAD AND THE MAIL COURSE WAS A PESTO GNOCCHI WITH POTATOES AND HAD A WONDERFUL DESERT AND WE WINE WHICH WAS VERY GOOD.. OUR FOOD WAS HOT AND EVERYONE WAS SO ACCOMMODATING.
I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THIS TOUR... DEFINITELY DO AND YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED..
