I was really looking forward to this tour and wasn't disappointed. What truly made this tour even more enjoyable was the guides Freddy and Alex. They were very informative and friendly n made sure that everyone was accounted for in this trip. The trek was from Corniglia to Vernazza and thou long wasn't hard if you have good shoes on as the paths can be slippery. Views are to die for and I would have love to trek from Manarola to Corniglia as well. The only downside was the boat trip was cancelled and the Via dellamore (Lover`s Walk) was closed, thou these were not the fault of the company. I highly recommend this tour to get a feel of what Cinque Terre has to offer and I will be back for more!!!
Excellent, excellent, excellent!! our guide was good and very enthusiastic. The guide was responsible for coordinating all the events of the day - train rides, boat ride, lunch - and it all fell into place very smoothly. It was a lot of fun.
Perfect way to experience cinque terre. Certainly made the most of our time there. Great value. Highly recommend!
Tour guides were great! You must be in good shape to take this hike. Well worth the effort to take in the views from the vantage point of the trail.
Engaging tour guides, using their personal experiences to introduce themselves. Conscious about the group staying organized. During the hike, incorporated nature in the experience. Great lunch !
Even though it rained part of the day we went and was overcast, my friend and I had a great time. It really is a unique place and the meal they include was very good. The day we went our guide took us on two hikes. The first hike was right when we got to the Cinque Terre before we boarded the train. This hike was short and provided a good view of the town; it was not very difficult but coming down was pretty steep. The second hike was much longer and happened right after lunch. You go at your own pace and the path is very well marked; it took us about 1.5 hours b/c we stopped to take pictures. This hike is medium, but for those who don't hike often could find the uphill portion difficult. Make sure to wear good shoes.
This tour was the best way to see all of the 5 villages in one day. The tour guides were absolutely amazing and really knew a lot about the villages. They showed us some great places to taste local wines and snacks. I highly recommend this tour, and wearing hiking or tennis shoes.
A fun fun day. Our guide Chris was great and fun. This is not a tour for those not prepared for a pretty good hike on uneven terrain but it is so worth the effort!
Definitely recommend! Tour is awesome. You won't be disappointed.
My husband and I had an incredible time on this day trip. The guides were wonderful and the sights were beautiful. Although some people in our group chose not to go on the hike, we did not find it too challenging. We went at the end of October when the weather was cooler. We would recommend this tour to anyone taking a trip to Italy, it was one of our favorite parts of our trip.
Amazing tour, we absolutely loved it! Freddie was our guide and he was wonderful! He was friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and engaging. It was a highlight of our trip!
I was pleastantly surprised to find our leaders on this trip to be engaging, knowledgable and fun to spend the day with. Freddy was funny and full of unusual information about the region, and Angel was charming and extremely attentive to my own personal needs as a novice hikers. They were a good team. I needed quite a bit of support on the trek, and Angel was more than happy to hold my hand during some of the more challenging turns in the hike!. These two worked really hard to ensure that we were having a great day and I appreciated it. Cinqueterre is beautiful, so the day was a joy to behold.
