  • Confirmation will be received at time of booking, unless booked within 2 days of travel. In this case confirmation will be received within 48 hours, subject to availability

  • Groups larger than 8 people, please make multiple bookings for the same date and name. More minivans and guides will be used but the group will stay together during the day
  • Itinerary is subject to minor changes due to weather conditions
  • Between October 13 and March 31, the boat ride is replaced by a transfer by train
  • Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately

Best Tour in Italy!

This was the best tour we did the entire trip! Our tour guide Leonardo was FANTASTIC!! He told us so much about the history and the area. I highly recommend this tour, especially if you are limited on time and want a day trip to Cinque Terre and Pisa. Leonardo made the trip amazing and it was a great experience!

Lovely personalized trip! Fantastic. Our guide Dario was excellent and made it a wonderful and memorable day. Recommend highly...do not miss this trip. If you take only 1 day trip from Florence, make it this one ( and add Carrara if you can :) )

Easiest way to see Cinque Terre!

Our tour guide knew the best restaurant spots and got us a reservation with a beautiful view! We even got to add seeing the Tower of Pisa on our way home.

We had a great tour guide. He pointed out highlights along the way. He explained the villages we would see and made lunch reservations as well. He rode one ferry with us and guided on how to get to the next.

This is not a “private tour”, it’s more like private transportation from Florence that drops you off in one village and picks you up in another 5 hours later. This time of year, Cinque Terre is jam packed with people, it’s very crowded and chaotic. If you are like me, and book “private” tours because you enjoy a more catered experience where you do not feel ushered around in groups of people, I do not recommend this. There are some beautiful swimming spots that I would recommend bringing a suit for. However the beach at the end of the tour is so full by the time you get there there is no where to sit. You will also need water/beach shoes as the beach is all rock. The villages and the shoreline is beautiful.

Dear Megan, thank you for the review, but let me reassure you, you had a private tour, the only moment your guide was not with you was at the moment you had lunch in the restaurant that we booked for you. In every village you had personal assistance from your certified professional guide and driver Massimo and at one point myself Luca. We are deeply sorry to find out you did not enjoy the tour, and that your expectations were not fulfilled. Yet, you would admit that we could not have any control on the amount of people going around the area in summer, if you need a spot on the only beach in Cinque Terre unfortunately it is better to reserve ahead on time with a private beach but this is a bit beyond the purpose of this private tour and it is not always feasible, since the tour is mostly intended as a sightseeing tour, even if we are happy within the limits to customize Even so, we do plan the tour in the best possible way to avoid the crowded situations. We had two more private tours that day that had your same itinerary that day and the enjoyed greatly the tour, so I will investigate what was not right with yours. We will try harder than this, within what was in our control we will make all the possible to do better in future. Thanks Luca

Dario was a wonderful guide! We enjoyed talking with him during the drive and his knowledge of Cinque Terre, Pisa and Tuscany was expansive. He helped guide us between the towns in cinque Terre by both train and boat. He even made a lunch reservation for us. Perfect day trip! We would highly recommend to anyone!

We had a fantastic tour with Luca! He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The one negative we had on our tour was it was apparently a very busy day and we weren’t able to go to one of the villages due to parking not being available. This was disappointing, we tried using the ferries to see the additional village but the times didn’t work out. Luca made us a lunch reservation at one of the villages which was amazing! I would however highly recommend this tour and going to CinqueTerre, it’s beautiful to see.

Dear Lauren, thank you for the kind review, as you remember being Easter day there were at least 6 times more people moving in Cinque Terre than usual days. We cannot have a fixed itinerary in this tour, and days like those are the perfect example of a tour full of variables. This is why you got to see Riomaggiore instead of Manarola, which is not less beautiful, but I was glad to show you around 3 villages as promised, despite difficulties. Looking forward to travel with you again...

As we were driving to our destination, I mentioned that my grandmother was from Monticatini Alto. Luca asked if I had ever been there. I replied NO. He then decided to add MA to our itinerary and we visited my grandmother's birthplace. What an unexpected kindness! Also, due to a back injury, I was somewhat immobile. Luca seemed to move heaven and earth to accommodate my needs. We did not miss a planned destination.

Cinque Terre was the one place in Italy I knew I wanted to see. Unfortunately on the day of our tour, the weather was horrible for us Floridians. Our tour guide, Claudio, was incredible! He drove us to a few places to ‘see’ Cinque Terre, but then took us to a more local town that was warmer and was still amazing. He also found us a place for lunch that had fantastic food and Prosecco on the water. He really made sure we had a great alternate experience. I definitely recommend this tour!

We had an amazing day with our travel guide Luca. He picked us up directly from our hotel and spent the entire day pointing out all the beautiful sites and talked about the history of the areas we visited. He assisted us in purchasing train tickets needed to travel between the small villages and made us a lunch reservation at a wonderful local restaurant. He made sure to show us areas of Pisa that were off the beaten path so we knew there was more to see than just the leaning tower. A very fun day!

Luca was the best tour guide. He went the extra mile to make sure we saw all that we could. He was kind, taught us all he knew, and was also flexible. It was a beautiful trip. One of the highlights of our stay in Italy. I highly recommend Luca and this trip it is a must do!
