What You Can Expect

Emilia-Romagna Day Trip with Museo Ferrari Admission and Food Tours from Florence

Combine your visit to the Ferrari Museum with a Vinegar and Cheese tasting experience!

Your Ferrari tour and food tasting will begin in central Florence, where you’ll meet your guide and hop aboard your coach. Watch the city streets disappear as you travel through the Tuscan landscape and into the stunning region of Emilia-Romagna.

Stop just south of Modena, in the small town of Maranello, to pay homage to Italy’s favorite sports car at the Museo Ferrari. Check out the lavish collection of new models and memorabilia and learn the fascinating history of these handsome rides, including their place on the Formula 1 circuit.

Under the guidance of an instructor, see what it feels like to hit the road with one of these beauties. Otherwise, simply enjoy some time inside the museum to wander and explore at your own pace.

Continue on with your guide to a balsamic vinegar producer to see how this regional specialty is made. Take an intimate tour of the estate and sample an array of sweet blends, all available for purchase to enjoy at home.

Afterward, sit down to a 4-course meal at an authentic Italian establishment, complemented by a glass of wine or soda. Digest with a coffee and head over to a famous cheese factory, where the celebrated Parmigiano-Reggiano is made. Learn about the aging process that gives the cheese its tangy taste, and watch how the milk is churned in vats.

Your tour will conclude will a smooth ride back to Florence, where you’ll be dropped off at Piazza Adua in the early evening.

Great day with Julio and Raul!
It was a small group tour which made it very pleasant and personal.
My husband loved the Ferrari museum and I loved very rustic experience of Tuscany.
Will use again.

One of the seven days my wife and I were in Florence we took the Viator Emilia-Romagna Day Trip with Museo Ferrari Admission and Food Tours and it was an outstanding day one of the highlights of our 12 days in Italy. We only had seven people on the tour and we had an excellent driver/guide, Luca Marrocchella who spoke perfect English. Luca first drove us to the town where the Ferrari museum is located and before going to the museum we were able to drive a Ferrari Formula One simulator and choose which Formula One race course we wanted to drive. For an additional fee, we could also drive one of several models of Ferrari out on the street. Driving the simulator was good enough for me feeling driving the simulator was well worth the price of the day tour. We then had free time at the Ferrari museum before driving to a country restaurant for an excellent meal with wine. Then on to a tour of a family Balsamic winery where learning the production process was extremely interesting. Following the Balsamic tour, we visited a family Parmigiano cheese producer a large producer of Parmigiano in Italy. The lady who owns the cheese facility did not speak English, however, Luca was able to interpret the explanation of the cheese process and also have all of our questions answered. Luca made this overall day tour one which we will not forget - we highly recommend this tour.

This tour was amazing! We were very pleased with everything. The tour guide was so knowledgeable about all of our stops and was so helpful. All of the details were taken care of, from the tour bus to lunch and everything in between, that we truly didn't have to do anything except enjoy our time on the tour. We wanted a tour of the Ferrari Museum and received so much more than we could have imagined! Definitely worth the time and money :

This tour was lead by Lucca of Ciaoflorence Tours and Travels was very knowledgeable of the places we visited and saw on the trip. The tour gave us plenty of time to wander around the Ferrari museum and was the followed by an excellent lunch at a country restaurant named Bolognina. This was followed by a trip to Acetaia Serent vinegar and olive oil producer, and then onto Agricole Caretti to see how Parmigianno Reggiano was made, starting from the dairy farm to their store.

What fun! We didn't understand beforehand that it would be a combined Vespa and Fiat tour, but it worked out ok. Our guide, Fabio, was extremely knowledgable, FUN, and very attentive. The lunch was fabulous ... At a private farm overlooking a beautiful hillside. This was the highlight of our Florence trip. The only negative was that by following the Vespas you don't get the Fiat above 3rd gear ... And it is pretty slow going. But, the views of Florence are breathtaking!

This trip is not only fantastic just because of the Ferrari drive. To my surprise, the cheese factory and balsamic factory are equally interesting. And with a wonderful guide, we really enjoy this trip! Must Go!!

Our tour guide and bus driver were very knowledgable and kind. My husband drove the ferrari and I was a passenger. I wasn't feeling well for the rest of the tour and I was allowed to rest on the bus and the driver checked on me to make sure I was ok and the tour guide.
