This was great. It was NOT a long strenuous bike trip. It was PERFECT for moving around over a pretty big area of the old city to get a lay of the land. Covered lots more distance than you could on a walking tour. However it was like a walking tour in that you would stop every 5 minutes or so, the guide would give a little history / background, then you'd move on. Was not a problem with cars - more people to avoid than cars. Lasted about 2 hours. Good overview of the city - do this the first day then go back on foot to the places that interested you. Please try to get to the meeting place early or at least on time to not inconvenience the other riders.
My friend and I were looking for a quick tour of the city since we used Florence as a home base for a couple day trips. To our surprise the two hour bike tour was our favorite part of visiting Florence! The tour guide ivanka was awesome and she even bought us a gelato that was included in the nominal tour price. There were 6 of us in the group and the only advice I have is to watch out for the scooters and the stupid people texting and walking. We went at 6pm and was perfect because the ponte vecchio was beautifully lit up at night : definitely would do it again!!

When we arrived in Florence it was raining for our originally scheduled tour, and the office was able to change it to the next day. We had a great time. Our guide was incredible. I just wish we could remember her name. We loved the tour and have recommended it to several friends who are going to be in Florence soon. We were able to see all of the highlights of the city and learn a lot about the history. I highly recommend this tour to everyone!!
Really enjoyed this tour. It was great to get a feel for the city and the guide was so knowledgable she made it interesting and fun. Good value for money.
Good initiation to Florence and its history. Sabilla the tour guide was great!
I loved this bike tour very easy going and understand a little more about the layout of Florence and where which attractions I wanted to explore further later. It was safe to ride and our guide instructed as to the rules of the road.
Sabilla was amazing! Best way to start the trip. Florence is a very historical city so this was a great way to see everything and pick and choose what looked interesting to visit again.
Our family really enjoyed this tour. The tour guide was very pleasant, engaging and knowledgeable. I would not recommend this for younger children. The Maneuvering through traffic and the many pedestrians was very tricky. But still a fun and quick way to see Florence.
This tour is a must do! We biked with ease to all of the best Florence attractions and a couple of gems that were off our radar. A great way to start off any visit to Florence. My teen enjoyed it as much as I and we especially loved crossing the Arno for a gelato stop!
A fun and informative trip. It was well worth it to get some facts about Florence and Anneca
Was a lovely tour guide. I would strongly recommend this bike trip for a first day in Florence .
Nice way to see the highlights and get the lay of the land while learning about the history of Florence's architecture.
This should be the first thing you do when you get to Florence that's what I did. It's great to get a lay of the land. On my walking tour later I was showing other people around and really knew my way around because of this tour. You cover a LOT of ground. As other reviews say, beware if you're not a great bike rider. You don't have to be an expert by any means, but it was a lot of dodging cars and pedestrians. Some people even got off and walked.
Not great gelato so don't have high expectations for that, but you can see where all the good ones are! I got the chocolate here, but should have gone with mango. Mistake! But the bike tour was not. You won't regret doing it.
So fun! Recommended as first thing to do so you can get your barings!
Guide Valentina took us around safely and was very informative. Great way to get an overview of the city. I would recommend to a friend.
Valentina showed enthusiasm and knowledge while she sowed us the beautiful sights of Florence. Her love of the city and the art throughout the city came through in her lively tour.
This tour provided a great view of the city and Valentina our tour guide gave a thorough history perspective about Florence, the Artists and the Buildings. Our group was fairly small, which kept the pace of the tour just right. Valentina also provided some great tips on where to eat.
Francesca did a fantastic job and everything went very smoothly.
Excellent tour - highly recommended! We saw so much of the city on this tour, far more that we did on foot. Our guide Federica was a local Art student who knew her stuff and kept us entertained the entire way round. I had a mechanical issue with my bike whilst out on the tour and this was resolved quickly and professionally by the team. All in all a very worthwhile tour and one I would definitely do again!

I love taking bike intro yours! It's a great way to get around and suss the place out. It also gives you the confidence to hire in the following days and explore more on your own. You can cover so much more area on a bike and good exercise.
Amazing bike tour! My friends and I did this tour the first day we were in Florence. A perfect way to see several Florence sights in a small amount of time, gain knowledge about the history of the city and get a great idea of where you may want to spend more time. Highly recommended!
Fun and informative. We discovered places we hadn't reached on foot. Great Gelato stop too! We didn't want to give the bikes back.
We spent 2 weeks in Europe and this was one of our favorite tours. We liked the fact that we did several stops and that the tour guide looked for streets that were not that crowded. We enjoy having gelato at the end of the tour. The tour was really different and fun.
amazing tour in an amazing city ,
the guide/she has a lot of positive energy
Highlight of my Florence trip! 2 hour bike ride where you see ALL the famous piazzas in Florence. Great way to spend a morning.
Excellent way to start our stay in Florence! It was not too long 2 hours and very affordable. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and she gave us very interesting stories. It does not require much effort to do this bike tour as we spent more time listening to our tour guide, Valentina, than biking itself which is what we were looking for. It's a perfect way to get familiar with the area as well. Well done Valentina! Caroline, Martin and Marianne
