Aside from a very crowded meeting place and a bit of slow start this tour was great. The guide really knew her information and cared about sharing it with the visitors. We began with some information about the square and the Baptistry before going inside the Duomo. The coverage inside there was great however, we were a little surprised at the sudden ending of the tour at the front of the church. The other part of the walking tour continued on to the basement level and we were left inside the church to wander around. This tour is a must if you want to see the church, but are short on time. I would recommend the longer walking tour if you have the time and can climb stairs. The coordinator actually asked us if we wanted to join the longer tour at the beginning, but I was not sure about our time schedule or just how many more places on the itinerary had steps so declined.
First class coordinator as we had travel delays. We received a telephone call a few minutes before the start of the tour. The coordinator was able to slot us onto the next tour allowing us time to arrive, and time to spare before the start of the tour. Our guide was very informative and had a friendly and professional approach. Definitely recommend this website for booking tours.

Skip the line was invaluable as there was a very very long line and it was extremely August. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The Duomo was amazing and is definitely worth visiting.
Skip the line is always invaluable, but we took this tour on a very hot day in August so our appreciation was elevated! The tour guide was very helpful in accommodating our stroller for our 2 year old. We enjoyed the information we heard, especially the bit about Dante inspiring all of Italy to speak the Florentine dialect. The Duomo is so lovely inside, it's definitely a must-see.
Buy these tickets! I can't imaging standing in lines that wrapped halfway around the Duomo in the hot hot July sun for hours. The plaza in front of the church has hundreds thousands? of tourists mingling and taking selfies. it was a challenge finding the tour company. Note: if you can't spot your guide just ask any other tour operator. They all know each other and are helpful to direct you. Again, standing in line in July in Florence is one of the unspoken rings of Hell in Dante's Inferno, Buy skip the line tickets!
wonderful tour. loved the history and the information. the walk to the top of the Duomo was wonderful experience.
My husband only choose the train ticket only to Florence. It was fantastic. Our guides were Maurizio and Valentina they were great. They kept us entertained throughout the train process and provided information about Florence. They were very professional and customer service oriented. Love that trip with them.
Next time we are in Rome my husband and I will for sure use your services. Thank you Again Valentina and Maurizio. The Villalba Family
The guide was quite knowledgeable and was able to give substantive responses to questions. I really enjoyed this tour.
This was an informative tour and the guide was good.
About 1/2 the time was spent outside discussing the baptistery before moving onto the duomo.
It was hard to hear the audio devices though which was disappointing as we did many tours with various companies and didn't have this problem.
hard to hear guide. I thought tour included going up into the dome, it didn't. Our guide was also french so her accent was difficult to understand.
Well worth taking the tour, great and knowledgeable guide. Was very attentive our our family member who had a hearing problem. She was also well looked after.
Wonderful tour from a very knowledgeable guide. The skip-the-line entrance is definitely a plus.
Worth skipping the line but tour not great. I think climbing to the dome would be worth it but we had kids under 16.
Difficult to find our tour guide to begin but also very large crowd on the Duomo on Saturday morning.
I booked the tour to climb the dome only to find that was not included and we would have to wait in a very long line and pay more.

Decent one.. We visited it the day after we visiting Vatican.. so the wow factor was not there at all !
The tour was great but the guided tour was a little short. The skip the line was easy and convenient.. We only waited a couple minutes to enter. Worth it if you and #39;re in Florence.
Part of the cathedral was shut off but the Guide had not been informed.
Honestly, I was very disappointed with this trip. They left out the part that this is the free portion of the Duomo tour, so you're paying 15 Euro per person to go into a free exhibit when this isn't even the one with the long line. The long line you actually want to skip is to get up to the Dome. The line to the cathedral itself is very quick/non existent.
Our tour guide was nice enough, but she wasn't all that helpful compared to the free audio guides that were available within the church already. I much rather would have put the money towards the Dome or the Museum portion of the cathedral.
The Duomo is fantastic. We met at 10.00 for a 10.15 tour with our female guide with red curly longish hair from Accord Innovative Tourist Solutions to find we were in a group of about 50. A family group who were scantily clad were told they would not be admitted because the men were in shorts and two female were in skimpy shorts with shoestring straps. The guide suggested that they buy wraps to cover themselves our printout said 'no shorts of sleeveless tops allowed. They went away presumably to get wraps. The guide then started with 30 minutes of a description of the exterior of the Duomo and only when the family returned to the group obviously having gone to change their clothes at their accommodation did the 'skip the line' tour start which was 30 minutes after the 10.15 scheduled start making some people in the group late for their next appointment. This was not good enough, the tour of 40 odd people should have gone ahead without the family group.
Overall we had a good tour, however there is a lot of room for improvement. Firstly, it was really hard to find our guide as they do not wear the yellow shirt nor do they hold up the sign like they specified in the victor voucher. We were not the only ones on our tour who had difficulty with this. The audio system is very old and we found it quiet difficult on occasion to hear our guide through our ear phones. It is also worth noting that this tour does not include entrance to the dome or crypt.
