This was such a fun and informative tour. Gabe was great, the sights were beautiful, and the wine and snacks at the very end delish! It was a great way to get a tour of the area on our first day so we knew where we wanted to go back and explore on our own. The bikes were easy to ride, we loved them so much we came home and bought 2 for ourselves! Highly recommend
We had an amazing time. Our guide was so helpful and she made the trip extra special. LOVED it.
Would recommend. A lot of fun and such a very different tourist experience. Gabriello, our guide, was brilliant and so very knowledgeable about all things Florence. Highly recommend!!
Fun and best way to see Florence. Our guide was personable and fun!
The ebikes were truly essential--there was no way any of us would have been able to make it up those hills on a normal mountain bike. They take a little getting used to at first, so we definitely recommend going a little earlier and taking some time to practice on it. We had a lovely time, saw some amazing views Ferragamo's house was one of them, I think, heard some Gregorian monks chanting, and the wine bar at the end was adorable as well!
Best thing we did in Florence. Highly recommend doing this tour as you get to see a lot of the city of Florence. The bikes were kept in excellent shape. Our guide was delightful and fun. Small group tours which are always the best!
It was a fun experience! Our tour guide, Claudia, took us to the farm in the city and later thru a scenic view of Florence. It is a petty that there were only 5 of us, since a bigger crowd would have been much more fun, although our group was cool.
This tour was FANTASTIC. We covered what felt like all of Florence, plus some beautiful country-side and mountains outside of Florence, all in 4 hours thanks to the electric bikes. Our guide Alice was very patient, especially to someone like me who hasn't ridden a bike in about 20 years. A quick note on that - if you are planning to take this tour and haven't ridden a bike in awhile, I highly recommend you borrow someone's bike beforehand one with gears and handle breaks and practice a little. Having not ridden it in so long and then riding around on the streets of Florence was a little daunting. But then again...everyone else in my tour was fine so maybe it was just me :
We saw absolutely gorgeous views of Florence and stopped at a church that will be 1,000 years old next year. Pretty neat. Afterwards, we went to a local place around the corner and were treated to wine and snacks. Delicious and a really fun note to end on.
This was one of the highlights of my trip to Italy! If you don't have much time in Florence and want to see the city, book this tour.
The guide was terrific! Very informative, pleasant, and kept us all together and well taken care of. One thing to know..the place is a little hard to find so give yourself enough time.
The streets of Florence can be a little challenging to navigate, and I did this with my child on the back seat...it was worth it, but something to be aware of, and the guide Ali was patient and accomodating. My kids especially loved the farm tour, and adults did too. All in all, was my favorite activity of the week that we did. 5 stars!
Fantastic bike tour up to the hills on one side of the city and then back across the river and up to Michael Angelo Square to look down on the amazing site of Florence.Finished off with a glass of wine and a taste of local produce.
The electric bikes were brilliant! Would thoroughly recommend this tour.

This tour was amazing! We saw sights that we would never have gotten to see on any standard Florence tour. The electric bikes made it possible for ALL rider levels and ages to be able to enjoy the experience equally.
But what made the experience really standout was our incredible tour guide, Alicia! She was extremely knowledgeable, energetic, funny and patient all the while keeping us safe while navigating the lively streets of Florence. Our only disappointment was when the tour was over and we had to say good-bye. We hope to do this again and absolutely recommend this tour for anyone wanting to taste the true flavor of Florence.
We are so glad we booked this tour and cannot speak highly enough about it. We had the best time with Alex while she showed us around Florence, she was also very friendly and easy to get along with. Would recommend this tour over and over again as it was a highlight of our European adventures :
Sooooooooooo glad I booked this tour. Amazing way to see so much of what Florence has to offer. And if you can ride a bike, you can do this. Super easy. If you CANNOT ride a bike, this isn't for you. Alicia was our guide and she was WONDERFUL! I would do this tour again, and again!!! Do it!!!
A fun way to get around the city and conquer the hills to get to places that open beautiful views of Florence. Very nice and friendly guides. My whole family enjoyed the tour: from 7 to 58 year old!
We did a lot of sight seeing over our 4 days in Florence and several tours but this was by far the best thing we did. We were like
lucky as the tour we booked only ended up being myself and my husband so it was a very private tour and our guide Gabriel made us feel so welcome. The guide achieved the right note of being informative but also quite keeping things light hearted. The bikes made the climb into the countryside so easy and the joy we got from cycling around cannot be underestimated. We enjoyed everything about this tour and would not hesitate to recommend. We should also mention the delicious nibbles and wine at the end of the tour, we went back to the same place for a fantastic meat/cheese board the following day.
We are a family of four traveling with two teens 14 and 17. The electric bike was a fun way to see the city and countryside of Florence! Our guide was Daniel and he was great!!! I highly recommend this tour!
We are a family of 4 2 teens who enjoyed the e-bike tour very much. The bikes worked well making it easy to negotiate large hills with little effort at all. Alexia, our tour guide, was from Florence and provided helpful historic and current day insights into life in both the city and the Tuscan countryside. We thought this was an excellent way to start off a stay in Florence as it helps you get oriented geographically, gain insight into the city and surrounding area, and seek advice about your remaining stay.
This was one of the highlights of our trip to Europe. It was recommended by another family who had enjoyed it and they were on target. We did this tour within hours of arriving in Florence and what an introduction it was to the entire city. We saw things we would not have known to go see and learned key things about the city and it's layout and buildings. The use of electric bikes allowed us to go up into the hills surrounding Florence to see incredible views. It was not strenuous was easy for even folks like us not in prime athletic conditioning. Our kids actually rode the bikes as normal for most of the 15 km ride which is an option. The tour leader was informative and spoken English very clearly, sharing thoughts and stories to make the experience very enjoyable. We were celebrating a family event and she even tailored the tour to include suggestions, detouring to show us her favorite gelato shop! Don't miss this on your visit to Florence.
Excellent experience. Our guide Gabriel took great care of us and we had a wonderful afternoon. Well worth it as it gets you away from the crouds too.
We had so much fun on this tour! It ended up just being the 4 of us and our great guide female on Sat. Apr. 22. The electric bikes were really easy to use and provided us with the opportunity to ride the bikes to areas high outside the city centre. I would recommend this tour to all who know how to ride a bike and have nerves to manoeuvre through the traffic in Florence of course our guide was helpful with this!.
P.S. The young guy at the rental shop was very welcoming, friendly and funny!!
What a great way to see Florence and the surrounding area. The electric bikes took a little time to get use to, but it was easy once we got the hang of it. Alessia was a wonderful tour guide. She was patient and kind and very knowledgeable! I highly recommend this tour!
This tour is awesome! If you haven and #39;t biked in a while I would practice a little. I am really short and the bike was a bit tall for me but I still had a blast and the bikes make it so easy, even for a couch potatoe like me!
As incredible as strolling around Florence and visiting the Duomo and all museums can be, if you have a little sense of adventure take this half day tour! We were met by our friendly and knowledgeable tour guide near Piazza Della Signoria. The size of the tour is kept to less than ten so everyone can stay together on the bikes. If you haven't ridden an electric bike, you are in for a treat. The bike is pedaled like a regular bike, but when you need a little juice to get up a hill, you twist the handle and then feel like you could win the Tour de France! Navigating the roads to leave the city will put you in traffic at times and on bike paths at times. It was exhilarating but you definitely need to stay alert! The tour takes you into the hills surrounding Florence, first to Fiosole, a small town overlooking Florence, then to an organic farm, Piazza Michaelangelo, and Basilica San Miniato al Monte. Every stop has incredible views of the city. We took the afternoon tour and at the Basilica we were able to witness the monks doing Gregorian chants. We ended the tour weaving down the hillside roads back into Florence at dusk with the twinkling lights coming on. Just magical. We were then treated to wine, cheese and meat at a local wine bar. On our tour we met a delightful couple from England who we visited with for two hours after parting with our wonderful tour guide.
